0	It's not offensive to ask for dna test Big issue I haven't seen brought up is getting a test takes time. Most states have you sign the birth certificate well before the timeline in which you could get a test done and courts have found in multiple cases that signing the birth certificate legally binds you to caring financially for the child (state HATES being on the hook for child care) Best solution is they should be default practice.
