This works for colleges, but not for jobs since job interviews are ubiquitous.

More cheek fat is feminine, when mtfs go on estrogen their cheeks gain fat, when ftms go on testosterone, their cheeks lose fat. Fashion trends that seem counter intuitive make a lot more sense when you realize they're set primarily by gay men.

models and fashion trends are mostly set by gay men, that's why objectively male typical features (like being tall and less cheek fat) are trendy right now

I asked what if someone said they wouldn't have sex before a relationship, would that make it a no go?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/24 06:06 PM

That didn't really answer my question lol, there's a lot of leeway between promiscuous and virgin, particularly with those who wait until a relationship
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/24 05:31 PM

What would happen if a woman you met didn't want to have sex until you were in a relationship? Was it just a no go at that point?

i think there are a significant men are addicted to porn, but in the case of dead bedrooms on the man's end, it's more likely the woman (unknowingly) does things to kill the intimacy in the relationship. who wants to have sex with and be vulnerable with someone who puts you down and is always trying to control you?

While I think most of the book sucks and outdated, the first chapter of Why Women Love Bitches lays out exactly why men don't like women who lack boundaries and like those who have self respect. I think understanding exactly why it leads to a bad result helped me a lot in getting better with it.

For many women, having sex one last time is part of getting closure and moving on from the relationship. You're going to make the decision you make, but do know that others (me) told you it was a bad idea when it goes wrong because you're filled with lust right now.

I stumbled upon this subreddit today, pretty wild place. I can't imagine why a guy wouldn't want to be vulnerable and intimate with his girlfriend when she's demanding he takes a polygraph test and does full therapeutic disclosure.

I didn't say the sexual dimorphism is women don't have body hair, men do. I was replying to someone who was trying to act like men don't get much thicker, much darker, much more prominent body hair. That is absolutely false and our body hair is sexually dimorphic, sexual dimorphism is not just things that women don't have any of and men have, it's also the amount etc that each one has. Sexual dimorphism includes secondary sex characteristics as well, them being called secondary sex characteristi…
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/24 09:37 PM

It's definitely not, we know that the amount of body hair and thickness of it is directly correlated with testosterone. MtFs who go on estrogen experience their body hair become softer and thinner, while FtMs who go on testosterone experience their body hair become harder and thicker. Body hair is sexually dimorphic.

I don't know from what weird rural place you are,but most women would have the same response as the one you described about the man in the case of unsolicited help, especially if it ain't tactful It's very commonly talked about on TwoX, where they complain their husbands or boyfriends aren't helping them or coming to help, but they don't ask for help. Is this women projecting what they look for in a guy? many people make the mistake thinking that the other gender is like themselves in romance, which anyone with a brain knows this isn't the case. this extends into relationships, asking for help is a good example. most women like it when you notice they're struggling and come to help them, because it shows youre caring and thoughtful. most men do not like you offering help unsolicited, because it implies that you think they're incompetent and d…

/r/waiting_to_wed always manages to surprise me. women get a house and children with men who they aren't even engaged to, then they're surprised when the man says "i see no rush, we're basically already married anyways." they act like a wife in everything but name but then are surprised when he sees no rush to get married, even after a decade. like even the slightest boundaries would have prevented that

many men get very angry when rejected and are usually stronger than the woman rejecting them. this has culturally resulted in being less direct and a softer landing approach to rejection.

If both are lesbians generally yes. If one's lesbian and the other is bi, it is a very common complaint from lesbians when dating bi women that they're placed into the traditional man's role instead of an equal relationship.

Third spaces died for a reason, it's not like they were being frequented a lot and suddenly just had to close up shop. People have intentionally moved to online spaces as a means to spend their time instead, you have the causality reversed.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/24 10:59 PM

It's not that they're not trying hard enough, it's generally due to the mindset of blaming others and not asking what you can do/could have done in a situation. Looking at the /r/Waiting_To_Wed subreddit, many of the women there seem to have troubles with self awareness or understanding. I remember reading a comment there how men who drag their feet with marriage are always excited to get married one day, until the couple has their first argument. Then the man drags his feet, gives non committal…

I used to watch Psychacks and the vid OP is talking about is what made me stop. He has some good videos here and there (I like the ugly duckling and dark horse videos in particular), but giving sex with no expectation of commitment is the absolutely worst advice to give a woman. It just doesn't work, the vast majority of people …

I don't see why I would call you autistic in that situation, there's nothing particularly autistic about getting cold feet. I would probably say you got cold feet but going for the date instead would probably do you good for your self confidence.

It's not projection, but if you want me to defend myself I can. The two major possibilities here are either, she enjoys toying with people's hearts and gets enjoyment out of seeing men suffer. Or she just got cold feet and let it go on way too long. Most people generally aren't malicious, and being unable to understand that having cold feet is much more likely than being a cruel person, if not indicating autism, does at least indicate emotional issues and difficulties relating to the average per…
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/24 06:08 AM

You really sound autistic, for example in this comment here categorizing and having black and white thinking with generations rather than seeing it as less rigid (mid 20s people are flakey btw, just barely less than those in their early 20s). People in general are flakey, and particularly so those in their late teens to late 20s. Also I don't have autism, I generally either get along very well or very poorly with autistic people.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/24 06:03 AM

You're not the problem in that situation, I didn't say that. But thinking of it as playing games instead of just recognizing zoomers, especially ones dating online, are flakey and often get cold feet, does come across as not understanding people.

One hooked up with twice, ghosted me She just wasn't that into you. randomly texted a month and a half later, then ghosted again. She felt lonely and thought maybe it'd be worth trying to hookup with someone she didn't like that much, but then decided against it. Another arranged an entire date with me, then just never came outside when I came to pick her up. She probably got too nervous and got cold feet, very common among zoomers. Why Men Love Bitches is good for women with poor boundaries and poor self worth, but the advice it gives for long term relationships is very bad. It says on the first page how bitch is just being used as a marketing term and what she means by it is a woman with self respect and firm boundaries.

im nothing if not pragmatic and honest. i think society generally views romance as something that happens to a woman without much of her own participation, and that generally if things aren't going well, it's not her fault. it results in stagnation and general misery. the way to avoid this is by being honest with yourself and by asking yourself what you can do to make a situation better, rather than what others can do
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/24 08:59 AM

i think a lot of women kill intimacy in the relationship, which results in the man running to porn, which leads to her thinking he has a porn addiction when in reality she just made it so its miserable being around her. that's a lot more common than actual porn addiction from what ive seen in rpw spaces and in general

They both hold non monogamy to a high regard, because of their attraction to those like them. Most people, regardless of sexuality are mostly friends with those of the same gender and oftentimes the same sexuality. This results in as what we see, which is up to half of gay relationships being open. I'll use trans lesbians as another example, I've never personally known a group that was more into non monogamy than trans lesbians, and anyone who's been around non monogamous trans lesbians knows th…

What it translates to in theory and what it translates to in practice are two very different things, which is why we see what we do among these groups. People among these groups being okay with it is very specifically because they feel that way themselves too, I never said anything about it not being consensual. You're plugging your ears and acting in completely bad faith. I'm not saying it's impossible, but it does make it a lot more likely (as we see on a population level) and makes things a l…

/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 03:16 AM

Homosexual men being friends with other homosexual men results in what I linked, a huge influx of open relationships. Bisexuals can, but there will likely be complicated feelings if the other person is attracted to the gender of the bisexual person. I don't think I need to post any studies about their rates of open relationships to prove my point. It's not impossible, but it makes things a lot murkier.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 03:13 AM

A significant amount to half of gay relationships are open relationships, and gay men are mostly likely to have mostly male friends. It's not tough to put two and two together here.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 03:10 AM

30% of gay men in relationships are non monogamous. Anyone who's spent a bit of time in the gay male community knows it's extremely common to have friend groups where everyone has sex with each other, you see similar with transgender lesbians.

I don't think personality being set in stone by adulthood is true, at least in my case I used to be incredibly risk averse and agreeable. It took some work to make myself not that way as much, but I benefit from the change more than not now. its interesting going on non pilled relationship subreddits and seeing how people bring about their own misery and just have a terrible view of relationships. apparently telling your boyfriend you aren't going to combine finances until marriage isn't boundary setting, it's manipulative according to redditors. no wonder they get walked all over and get upset when things don't work out for them, they have no self worth or self respect

The reason you love yourself before getting into a relationship is because abusers are attracted to those with low self esteem because it leads to inability to assert boundaries. You're making yourself much more vulnerable if you get into a relationship before you love yourself.

Yeah I agree that talking about not having enough sex is just about the least sexy and most turning off thing you can do. If I had to take a stab at it, distance causes the heart to grow fonder, and with the gap now being closed, that distance and mystery is gone. Try going out on your own more, get a hobby that's out of the house that's on your own, etc. In terms of his roommate hearing, white noise machines or music is good for this.

Also how do you ladies fit in self care when you have little kids to take care with little to no alone time? From what I remember reading in the Surrendered Wife, Laura Doyle suggests taking the time and letting your husband figure it out. So for example, telling your husband you're going to be doing so and so from this time to this time, then letting him figure things out in regards to the kids, feeding them, etc. He can take a Saturday night to take care of the kids while you do self care.

Looking from an entirely pragmatic and not a moralistic view, for the vast majority of men I've known, a woman keeping simps and men who she knows wants to be with her around is a major red flag and a huge turn off for relationship material. I think being ND without diagnosis can lead to the situation you describe where people don't seem to want to associate with you despite looking attractive…

From /r/therapists: Men are unhinged emotionally stunted maniacs, 19 upvotes. Apparently men killing themselves at higher rates is because theyre finally seeing the consequences of their actions, 138 upvotes. There's more in the thread, but you get the idea. It's unsurprising this is the view therapists have of men when 91% of men who kill themselves previously reached out to mental health services.

Read up on nun mode posts in this sub to get started on your self improvement. 6 months of nun mode at 27 will get you far better benefits than being 26 without nun mode. Losing weight would be a good start, but the emotional stability is far more important in my experience. I have a typical deal breaker for many men, but even that hasn't caused nearly as many issues as being emotionally unstable did. I'm generally hesitant of therapy for a litany of reasons and think emotional stability primari…

People with autism are more likely to be trans, and anime is very overt with their expressions, making it a form of media more likely to appeal to people with autism since difficulty reading facial expressions is a very very common symptom. It's not difficult to put two and two together as to why many trans people would end up liking anime. Saying anime turns people trans is silly lol

I'm fairly conventionally unattractive and I've had men ask me for my number in public, it's more about your body language, smiling, etc. I know it sounds like cope, but people and especially men were much friendlier to me after I started smiling more and stood up straight. When a woman struggles with getting a long term relationship, I've noticed it's almost always because of how she acts rather than how she looks. I'd go so far as to say that if someone is struggling to get long term relations…

Someone who tries to control everything and always gives their input doesn't come across as intelligent, they come across as neurotic and unable to trust. Have you ever had a manager who always felt the need to be heavily involved in your work and always know every little detail and give their thoughts, instead of just letting you do your work like an adult? I doubt they came across as intelligent, they probably came off as overbearing and added stress to the both of you. That said, it's a pract…

This reads as no good legitimate reason or emergency, you couldn't even list an emergency that would necessitate it. Again, it's extreme clinginess and it's hurting your boyfriend's ability to be successful.

Respect him, be a cheerleader for his success (which means not expecting him to be in contact with you on the phone if he's working), find independence and happiness outside of him. The last part is by far the most important and seemingly the one most ignored by you in this thread.
/r/RedPillWomen14/02/24 01:47 AM

My honest suggestion is the same as the first comment I made in this thread. Build happiness and your sense of self outside of your relationship, otherwise you're going to be perpetually at risk of being clingy and your happiness will always be outside of your control. The advice you're looking for isn't red pill advice because no red pill advice will say only being happy if you're inseparable from your boyfriend is a good thing. If you want to spend more time with someone, putting more pressure…

Well yeah giving him money in order to provide something he can't is obviously going to emasculate him. So long as if your happiness is dependent on him or being inseparable, sustainable happiness will continue to elude you.

Consider it from his perspective: you and a loved one had to go back to your home country, and someone you love very much has to go back to living with her horrid parents because you failed. Wouldn't that make you feel bad and evoke a huge desire to work extremely hard and focus a lot on money? He's doing it for you to get you out of your situation. You should be focusing on yourself and what you can do, rather than asking yourself what your boyfriend can do. This requires self agency and indepe…

It's difficult to give more insight without more context, it comes down to how committed you are and how important the relationship is to you. Relationships will have times of difficulty no matter the relationship, this is why it's so essential to have your own personhood and things to fill your time and day. You sound very clingy to the point it seems you're interconnected rather than independent. You shouldn't be so dependent and reliant on him that not getting a good morning text has a big im…
/r/RedPillWomen14/02/24 12:46 AM

My advice stays the same, clinginess is usually due to either insecurity or due to not having enough going on in your own life. You need your own life separate from his for the exact reasons you list out in this post, this will help for both insecurity and lack of independence. How do you spend your free time outside of him currently?

He's busy for a reason, he's turning around your horrible situation as you stated. Your job isn't to get attention and time from him right now, your job is to be a cheerleader for him and support him succeeding in his endeavors. Women are valued for their looks while men are valued for what they can provide. Women subsequently are valued less as they get older since youth is tied to attraction for most, while men are valued more as they get older due to getting more wealth and further into their careers. You're comparing apples to oranges.

You care a lot due to insecurities, not due to love of the relationship. Vetting is more effective, and as others have said, cheating rates vary by age, it isn't something people either will do whenever or won't do ever. You're watching too many youtube videos and getting into your own head too much. Read up on the posts here about how to vet and you'll be much better off, you'll scare away quality men through tests.
/r/RedPillWomen03/02/24 11:24 PM
20

The issue isn't that you're loyalty testing a cheater, it's that you're loyalty testing a potential non cheater, someone completely innocent. You're not only disrupting his peace, but you're also disrespecting him by not trusting that he would remain faithful outside of your influence. Do you really think this is something that will build intimacy in a healthy manner? There's a reason why we harp on so much about vetting and say it's the most important part of the dating process.

Try to go at it with an open heart, you may be surprised by the results, it's also okay if youre not perfect at it at first. Even being the kind of wife your husband wants will make your relationship more intimate and more full of love. Also like the book says, it may take him a bit to adjust and get used to things, so give him patience there too.

I'm glad you started listening to the book, good job. Never criticize No one likes a nag, and criticizing is an explicit sign of distrust, something your relationship is suffering heavily from. Remember how I said you need to trust him for a while in order for him to gain your trust back? never give unsolicited advice Giving unsolicited advice is stressful, it shows you don't trust him to handle the situation (again, a big issue in your relationship), and it leaves you both unhappier. never make…

All that to say. Please don’t trust every advice you read here. There are women here that don’t fully understand the whole picture, or aren’t actually redpilled, and you are likely telling the story in your own favor. Stick to reading books from trusted authors. Tbh this sub often blends with other relationship subreddits at this point, where it's man bad woman good, the woman can do no wrong and should leave him. The upvotes and downvotes reflect this too. It sucks and it seems the mindset have…

The line isn't and never will be a hard one, it's like trying to find out what's objectively funny. You can research a culture, understand why things are funny, and even learn how to make a funny joke, but you can never find out if something is objectively funny, because it's inherently subjective. It's the same thing here.

I think the big difference between the two is that redpill in long term relationships encourage a certain dynamic that has worked for a very long time, instead of a directionless one that results in a lot of the troubles we see today. Going through the top posts of all time on /r/redpillwomen shows what I'm talking about in a good manner. That's kinda the point of the red pill. With self improvement, you realize romantic relationships and getting laid don't matter as much anymore because there's so many different aspects to you now. Getting laid becomes a nice side effect of such. I would think that self improvement and not making getting laid a huge part of yourself and self worth would be a good thing.

I literally did that in multiple ways. And you contradicted it with Excusing, justifying, defending, and deflecting All of these are the exact opposite of taking responsibility. Hopefully this time it doesn't end as poorly for me. Only time and trust will tell.

What does taking responsibility mean to you? Responsibility means to me saying what you did was wrong, and that it was entirely in your control. Excusing, justifying, defending, and deflecting are all contradictory to taking responsibility. Hopefully this is the amazing cure-all it is proclaimed to be, and not just permission to do as he pleases. I never said it as a cure-all, I said it will help things significantly since a major issue in your marriage appears to be trust. Trust is needed in a …

Respectfully I don't know what you want from me. I'm not sure why you are convinced I don't take responsibility for what I did. I have admitted that, and I have significant self hatred over it. And yet you try to justify and defend it with circumstances, that's not taking responsibility. That's deflecting and justifying, hating yourself for something relates to regret, not responsibility. You've had sex with someone else, that is an obvious act of disrespect and not going to be conducive for intimacy. You need to take responsibility for this and not defend yourself or try to explain yourself. Your entire post reads as "what he did wrong" with a sentence of what you did wrong with lots of self defense instead of just owning up to it. Intimacy is essential to rebuilding trust, and respecting him is the best way you can start with that. It's going to result in him desiring you more,…

So you are saying I should have just stayed and let him continue doing what he was doing? You shouldn't have had sex with someone else or you should not have gotten back with him is what I'm saying. Out of the three options you had, you chose the one where you would get the worst outcome. You could have separated and not tried to repair a broken marriage, instead finding a new one. Between you having sex with someone else (even if separated) and him being blatantly disrespectful towards you about his preferences and sex, it really seems like neither of you respect the other. How do you feel in terms of respecting him and him respecting you? Oftentimes the man will make the woman feel unloved, which results in her not respecting him, which results in the man not giving the woman love, which continues into a terrible cycle.

If you’re married, your money should be shared, and he should be happy to pay for a gym membership. I doubt it was for his current girlfriend but not his wife. It's not like it takes a gym membership to lose weight anyways. The woman divorces not because the man doesn’t have money, but because he either won’t find a new job or is hostile at the home. Iirc it's within 6 months of losing it. Assuming malice from men and innocence from women is dumb

Maybe not a multi millionaire, but a blue collar worker? Then that's not relevant here or the topic. We have men here who call women who want to share finances or be provided for “gold diggers”. First of all, that’s why you only go with men who already have money. She would have never gotten to that point because her DMV is too low, that's the point. Second of all, why didn’t he help her lose weight? I assume she could pay for whatever using his card, not everyone is willing to lose weight, much less lose it successfully. take the monk pill if the food you eat every day is simple, plain, and nutritious, you don't have to worry about lots of things. and when you do eat something good it's like jesus blessing your tongue

I feel like thatd apply on a general attraction level, but once it gets to full cuck kink level, it's probably something deeper

Get more girl friends. Laura Doyle talks about this, but one of the big parts is getting more girl friends to share feelings with, to complain to, etc. No one person can bear the brunt of all of one person's emotions and complaints.
/r/RedPillWomen25/01/24 10:26 PM

massively underrated part is just being friendly and warm. i get approached much more frequently and get a lot more compliments when i stand up straight, smile, etc versus when i look angry and closed off and in a rush. i think this is the reason a lot of femcels struggle to date outside of obvious things like weight. i remember reading from femcels their personality type and like 80% of them said infp lol so yea!! being approachable and warm is such an underrated part of femininity and much eas…

Having more value in looks/having a looks disparity doesn't translate as great into tangible effects. If someone looks better, they may have more power in the relationship, both only if the man is not equivalently good at providing. In a situation of a rich man and a poor woman, there are a ton of tangible things that result in a power dynamic. If they break up, the poor woman has many more tangible things to lose. Versus a woman who looks better than their man does not.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/24 09:55 PM
2

In the context of Western romance, women are valued for their looks while men are valued for what they are able to provide. If a woman isn't able to look better than her husband, then she is not able to provide what she is valued for as well. It's the same reason why a lot of men do not like to date women who make more than them.

She was specialized in trans issues, but I felt the issue wasn't cause I was trans because I would still feel the same way if I hadn't transitioned/wasn't trans if that makes sense. The issue wasn't so much regarding me being trans, but more so her invalidating my experiences from childhood. did you think the emdr helped you any? from what i know it’s still a new therapy and the efficacy is still being tested? have you tried cbt? She kept saying we were going to do EMDR soon but kept putting it …
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/24 07:52 PM

the most recent one i saw was one who did emdr and described herself as an intersectional feminist. tldr, im mtf and was abused growing up and my therapist seemed to have the view that girls and women are the ones that should have the primary concern with physical abuse. i brought up my feelings with her and why i felt that way, and she got very upset and kept interrupting me very blackpilled about therapy lately

Well SRS isn't removal, they reconstruct it into a vagina since vaginas and penises/testicles/the sack are made up of the same material. yeah psychology is a meme and therapists are usually more harmful than good. i remember there was a thread on /r/therapists where therapists said men were unhinged emotionally stunted maniacs, chronic cheaters, and are suicidal because men are finally facing the consequences of their actions. imagine you go to therapy and your therapist views you that way before you even speak with one another

It can be, but it's kinda culture dependent. A college campus and church are going to have different definitions of slutty clothing. Wearing makeup isn't slutty, really the opposite. Most cis women I know who don't regularly wear makeup still wear it for important things like court dates, important work meetings, and attending someone's wedding.

It is a small number, HIV isn't the worry OP should have with HIV. If the guy has sex with 2500 HIV positive women or has sex with an HIV positive woman every single day for the next almost 7 years, then all the more power to him. It's affected straight people, but primarily due to drug use (such as sharing needles as listed by the CDC) or infant rape in other countries such as Africa. Bisexuals do exist and homosexuals who don't have anal sex do exist, but they're not the majority of those who have HIV. The majority of those who have HIV are males who have sex with males, along with trans women who have anal receptive sex with males. even if the transmission rate is slightly lower. /r/PurplePillDebate22/01/24 08:58 PM

I mean it's literally almost 35 times higher with anal receptive sex. There's a reason why it ravaged the homosexual community, but it's barely touched the heterosexual community despite the HIV epidemic being over 40 years old now. How people take it is how they take it, but it's dumb to say the primary worry of STDs with PIV sex is HIV.

I have BPD too, and that's been my biggest impediment to dating, more so than conventional deal breakers. Men may put up with their peace constantly being disrupted for a 9/10 woman, but they'll never do it for a 7/10 or below woman. If you can get to the point of emotional regulation that you at least don't involve others, you'll see a great increase in the men you attract and the quality of your relationships.

That's great. So even if you tried you couldn't sound like a man anymore? Or do you still have the ability to go deeper than women that spawned as women? Yeah Ive tried before but I just ended up sounding like a woman trying to impersonate men lol Also, you know how in men a big dick is the masculine and desired thing right? Is it like the opposite for transwomen where like a small dick is the most feminine, most desired dick to have? Tbh I think dick size correlating with masculinity or feminin…

I misspoke, I meant i'm exclusively into masculine men, gay men stopped interest in me once i grew boobs lol. Also, do you people have like two voices, like one social pretend voice and still your manly voice, or does it really like change that much? So there's two stages to voice training. The first stage is getting to the point you can speak and have it pass, while the second stage is using it enough that it's just your natural voice. There isn't much to the second stage other than "just do it…

Trans people make up around .3% of the population, probably half that if you exclude non transitioning nbs and people who don't go on hrt. I think trans men get less attention because most people view trans people as their birth gender, and they see men as threatening but women as not. Do you fit in one of those categories btw? I probably fit closer to the first one than the second, but I'm exclusively into androphilic men, I pass, and have bpd rather than autism.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/24 01:09 PM

i'm trans, but yea the first birth control was estradiol for cis women
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/24 12:59 PM

The first is much more common on 4chan and reddit. Usually autistic, nerdy, usually gynephilic, usually doesn't pass but can if they femininitymaxx. The other is usually on tiktok/certain spaces on twitter, have bpd, usually androphilic, usually pass outside of voice.

It's moreso an acceptance than men and women generally act and are a certain way. By embracing this and working this in your favor, both people are generally much happier. Hard for me to see why a woman would need to be RP when she just needs to pick who she wants to fuck It's not about sex, it's about commitment. Women get to choose who they get to have sex with, men get to choose who they commit to. Principle of least interest and all that.

while male dating advice to women is basically "initiate sometimes and be enthusiastic" there's a lot more to it, /r/redpillwomen and the surrendered wife by laura doyle are both good examples. a lot of modern day social norms set women up to not trust or respect their husbands, and it leaves both miserable.

I think intimacy with your husband should be the first priority in a relationship (given its within the confines of your boundaries) and that when a woman reacts to things that hurt her, they should be reacted to in a manner that's best for the relationship rather than what feels good in the moment. I remember reading a reddit post about a man who asked his wife for a paternity test. This upset her, but she did it all the same. When the test results came back as her being faithful, she laughed a…

I dont encounter them often just because I tend to have few friends in general, it's really just my boyfriend and best friend. I would probably be called a pick me by other women if I voiced my opinions but socializing with women has sucked every since I started transitioning. I think pick me is generally a term to support the in group bias that women tend to have more strongly than men do. I think those they can pick mes are often just women (often neurodivergent) who don't like socializing how…

women tend to gain social status through integrating in a group, while men tend to gain social status through standing out in a group. calling other women pick mes is a natural result of not fulfilling your role as a woman in a group.

/r/PurplePillDebate20/01/24 04:45 AM

It's rare, but it does happen. The original comment was asking what if the woman had truly repented and changed? This would fit that rare case. Some people do keep some values the same throughout their life, but that isnt what I said. I said people don't keep all the same values all their life. Very different statements.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/24 09:37 PM

You make it seem that values aren't something that can be changed, even though I don't think there's ever been someone who's kept all the same values all their life.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/24 09:07 PM

Hmm, I see the point there. So the disrespect comes from being unsure and telling the man before she is sure, rather than necessarily her being gay and telling him?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/24 08:11 PM
1

Well that's very different and I can see how that'd be disrespectful. The situation was assuming the gf is actually lesbian and wouldn't date another man after.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/24 08:06 PM

I can see why it's a deal breaker for a relationship, but I don't see why it can't be something forgiven on a platonic level.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/24 08:01 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/24 07:50 PM

hmm i guess it doesnt make sense to me as to why its disrespectful if it's something she can't help and doesn't have to do with you so much as with herself. i feel like id rather have a hurtful truth rather than a nice lie but everyone's different
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/24 06:52 PM

That's okay and understandable, but if you follow a religion who's core idea is forgiveness in the face of true repentance and change, does it not make sense that it would extend to this?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/24 06:44 PM

I would think your ability to observe and read someone's character would be the primary factor. People who are promiscuous tend to have other behaviors and views that correlate with it. I would hope someone who follows a religion who's core idea is forgiveness would extend to those who you read and observe as truly repented and changed.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/24 06:43 PM

you dont feel being broken up with for no reason would hurt more?

I think it'd be worth experimenting with things as dressing more feminine seems new to you. In this case, fast fashion stores like Forever 21, H&M, and Pac Sun are all good options to start with. If you want something high quality and long lasting, it's going to be expensive.

it's because of leftover attitudes from women and men didn't work. you don't hear about it in western countries very specifically because of christianity making killing female babies extremely taboo as it saw all life as valuable. pre christian west was just as brutal as the eastern countries you hear about. in the context of choosing the sex of the baby, killing does not come into play, and as a result, subverts the christian ideal of all life being valuable that prevents murder of female babie…

it's usually the opposite, when people have the choice, they choose male. i guess if you made it so the government had regulations and quotas for it, but that's just delusional level along the lines of women being forced to breed by the government

why
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/24 08:12 PM

its easy to point out flaws, it's a lot harder to give alternatives. i mean it in genuine good faith, i would like to hear about a system that is able to deal with depopulation while maintaining strong social programs and governmental power along with equal rights for women. public ownership of all goods is even worse in a depopulated system as public services and social programs are the first thing to fail during depopulation.

tbh i would not be surprised if a lot of the millenials who hate those sorta jokes are the same ones who are going to be making those jokes twenty years from now. its easy to love your wife early on, it's a lot harder as the decades go by and youre bound together by kids.

Rome's economic issues, the economic issues of the 1800s, were not due to bad or good harvest. Bad weather affecting harvest significantly to the point of famine was primarily a thing in the middle ages. The government has it's power through it's military and legal enforcement. This is the means in which they use to enforce the legislation that they write. We're much better at economics than we've ever been, back in the early 1800s there would be a recession every 2 years, compared to one every 8-10 years now. Something catastrophic would need to happen in order for things to collapse in 25 years, although we withstood something like COVID fairly well all things considered. Things are much more stable than any of the times periods you listed, even if you go back by 25 years.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/24 07:36 AM

And how do they do that if they don't have the monetary means through a sizeable tax base to do so? At that point you're relying on the personal wealth of very wealthy government officials, which is just about one step away from feudalism.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/24 07:29 AM
2

That's a foolish way to look at governmental power. There has to be someone to enforce the legislation in order for the legislation to be followed, otherwise there would be no reason to follow it. Think about laws that are unenforced, piracy for example. It's not (at least heavily) enforced, so no one bothers to follow it. You really think corporations are going to follow unenforceable laws if it benefits them not to?

Stop consuming /r/antiwork content and start comparing trends lol 25 years may be where we start seeing things like social security fall, but even then, that's the beginning of a very long process of governmental collapse. Rome started doing poorly during the time of Marcus Aurelius and it still took 300 years for the Roman Empire to officially collapse.

Hold immature women accountable by making a card like ebt so they don't misuse child support. That doesn't really do anything but shift around budgets. Think of it this way: if you had $300 budgeted for groceries and $300 budgeted for fun, and you got $300 in child support on an ebt like card. You could just use what would have been your grocery money on fun things, and the ebt like card on groceries. It doesn't do anything but shift things around a bit. Make it so both men and women can opt out…

And how do you think governments get the power in order to regulate the corporations? The government gains it's power through tax revenue, and cannot exist without it. What do you think happens with corporations when the government collapses? If there's no one around to regulate them, then they get to run free, which is why feudalism was so problematic.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/24 06:54 AM
3

That's populist pessimism. I think we're a distance away from it (80-120 years or so maybe?), but the government still flexes it's power corporations when it wants to. Watch Elon or Bezos put their tail between their legs when they complain about the government making them follow regulations. It's going to kick into gear once baby boomers fully die off and gen X start trying to collect their pensions.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/24 06:53 AM

I think it's better described as hyper individualism and people putting their own desires and wants over the needs of their country. Albeit I'm a hypocrite in saying this as I'm not having any kids myself, but I do think it's important to call a spade a spade and not try to distract ourselves from the reality of things when talking about population degrowth.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/24 06:47 AM
3

Yeah just thinking things through would lead you to these conclusions. I feel like so much of populism preys on peoples' immediate emotions regarding a topic in order to manipulate them into giving power.

I think people just don't really understand history, particularly late antiquity to the early middle ages, because world history classes spend maybe two weeks on it. Falling population levels is worse for basically everyone in the end.

Unfortunately feminism isn't sustainable long term with really any system that groups more than 10,000 people together. Birth rates aren't correlated with social support or wealth (otherwise Sweden would be booming with kids and countries in Africa would be heavily struggling), they're correlated with women's educational levels. People will spend the next 60-80 years denying this correlation while we're pumping more and more immigrants into our country before the countries we're getting immigran…
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/24 06:24 AM
5

The last time birth rates fell over a sustained period, we got feudalism. When birth rates fall over a long period of time, the government collapses due to lack of support, lack of tax revenue, and lack of ability to enforce it's power and will. In the subsequent power vacuum, those with existing resources (the wealthy, corporations, landlords) are the ones who seize power.

Sharing feelings and emotions can be a high stress topic, women generally aren't used to or equipped to talk to men the way men talk about emotions. /r/PurplePillDebate14/01/24 04:26 PM

I've found when one person communicates their feelings, the other person takes away something completely different from it most of the time. For example with my most recent therapist, I said how I felt that she views abuse as something a man does to a woman and how that hurts my feelings. For some reason she thought I was saying she was racist (we're both white) or transphobic (when my issue with her would still be the same if I wasn't trans), even though I implied neither of those things.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/01/24 04:21 PM

If people don't think about you a lot, it's likely that they don't care about you, otherwise they would be thinking about you. When you say "at least" the implication tends to come across as diminishing the problem at hand. Or in the case of anxiety, comes across as "yes that is true, but"

You're mistaking timeline I'm speaking about. Drastic bursts of depopulation (such as the Black Death) do not result in feudalism, but the long sustained population degrowth (such as late antiquity to early middle ages) does. There were different rules by different groups of wealthy people. Government officials were wealthy, but they were wealthy thanks to taxes, but that stopped when the population decreased. When a population decreases, it means less tax revenue, which means the government can no longer exert it's power or influence, resulting in collapse. When a government collapses, it's replaced by those who are wealthy through private ownership. It's not like the government collapsed and those who used to be in…

I've looked at the report, and it's very vague, it doesn't say that if it was at the hands of a woman or if it's lifetime. It's pretty irritating when i looked into it cause I was curious but there's no answer. In my personal experience, risk of abuse has more to do with history of abuse from parents more than necessarily gender.

Social mobility and economic mobility are very different, and I assume you're talking about economic mobility. In terms of economic mobility, I would say it's stagnated (because of population decline and increase in work force), but again, significantly higher than in previous generations. Someone who was a worker in a factory pre FDR had a significantly lower economic mobility than someone does now. There are fields that lead to likely prosperity that you can choose, and the government will hel…

I've never met a woman who's considered a situationship as a relationship. Every time I've had a woman vent to me about a situationship, it's been about how they wished they could get him to commit to a relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/24 11:01 AM

That doesn't make sense, a situationship isn't a relationship and there's no monogamy in a situationship. The study asked if the women were in a relationship, not if they were having sex with others.

Revolution occurs when the ruling class of a subjugated country decides so, or when basic needs are not met in the population. Despite populist assertions, we do very much live in prosperity compared to what would need to be needed for revolution. Most of our basic needs are met (much better than previous decades) and we are entertained more than ever, breads and circuses as they say. A tiny upper class and a large impoverished working class is how it has been for the vast majority of countries …

And I would assert that both of those things are much better than feudalism, you're understudied if you think otherwise. Feudalism was awful and significantly worse in almost every way, and we're heading right towards feudalism if the population keeps declining how it is. You being able to own your own house rather than rent for your entire life is one example off the top of my head.

This is populist rhetoric that falls apart at first glance. First off, your landlord is not Bezos or Musk, and you're not beholden to them. Your landlord isn't your employer either, if you wish to leave for other prospects, you may. If you have the money to have your own house, you have a legal right to it. Your landlord can't bring a group of people over and legally demand that you feed them for as long as they'd like. I could go on and on but you get the idea. Sure the wealthy may pay off our …

The last time there was a population went down as hard as we're predicting in the future, we got feudalism. When the population goes down over the course of centuries, authority collapses and those who take power in that absence are those with the existing wealth and resources to do so.

/r/PurplePillDebate10/01/24 03:11 AM

More so that testosterone increases it much more in everyone, but estrogen does still increase it by some. So for example, someone who is FtM and on testosterone will have a similar sex drive as a man, and someone who is MtF and on estrogen will have a similar sex drive to a woman. That said, testosterone increases your sex drive much more than estrogen does.

The rates are similar until around 50s or so, where men exceed women who cheat due to their rising rates and women's falling rates. If I had to guess why, it would be women having no estrogen means no sex drive, which means no sex. If you look at the statistics, they'll back up what I say.

People attract a certain kind of person. Almost every person I know who's been in an abusive relationship was abused as a kid and likely has been in multiple abusive romantic relationships, myself included. Saying abusive people are secret masterminds is the exact opposite of what the narrative should be as it takes away power from abuse victims, which is the exact opposite of what's needed to heal from trauma.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/01/24 01:39 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate10/01/24 01:34 AM

If you want to date an immature age range of people, you're going to have to deal with immaturity. AFAIK cheating rates stay relatively the same across ages in women until post menopausal age where it goes down.

/r/PurplePillDebate10/01/24 01:22 AM

You're gonna have to look hard for it, there's upsides and downsides to all of the choices/filters you make. In this example, a downside of your age filter of below 25 is going to result in you having to sort through a LOT of immature women. The fact that you don't seem to understand this makes me think you're not very mature yourself.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/01/24 01:21 AM

The difference is how much commitment you have to dating while in nun mode, along with if its mental health included (which you should). In terms of fertility, you're not going to be significantly more fertile at 26 vs at 28. Having a good father for your children is much more important than a couple years of fertility in your 20s.

I think hard nun mode is a necessity. Its suggested even for women at 30 because the man they'll attract at 32 and glowed up will undoubtedly be better than the man they'll attract at 26 pre glow up. If I had to take a stab at guessing, he sees a romantic relationship as a safe place to be as feminine as he wants, free from the pressures of masculinity others expect of him. Removing that would likely leave him bitter and angry, making you both unhappy.
/r/RedPillWomen07/01/24 10:05 AM
25

The ick is usually a failure from the man to perform masculinity, so it makes sense that you're getting it from him. From the vast vast majority of feminine men I have seen, they don't change significantly in regards to masculinity, no matter the other person. If you don't want to be in the position that's typically ascribed to men in relationships, then I would reevaluate if he's the right man for you and if you're able to handle it. It's what the vetting process is for.

It sounds like your therapist isn't very helpful and the focus isn't on processing your trauma, but rather the focus is on maintaining contact with someone you shouldn't have contact with. Go no contact with him and go to a therapist who will work through your trauma with you.

What I found was when I consistently attracted people who were abusive and didn't respect me, it was because of my unprocessed trauma and lack of self respect. Start with breaking up with your boyfriend and going to a trauma informed therapist.

You shouldn't be looking to trick your husband into doing anything, manipulating people is wrong and shows a lack of respect for the person. This post needs more information. Have you tried talking about it to him already? What was his upbringing like? How stingy is he and what impact does it have on your feelings and life?

I have a low libido too, and what really helped me was building myself into someone that's sexy. Exercise, doing my makeup daily, wearing nice clothes every day, all helped me see myself as more of a sexual being. Something that also helped me was making time for sexual fantasizing and slowly getting myself in the mood. I think it's very easy with a low libido and receptive sex drive to just not think about sex outside of when it's with someone else, but I think making time and space for it on o…

I don't know, the vast majority of women I've met have married regular men who made a bit more than they did. The ones with high standards who would only date a doctor or whatever were usually the ones who were perpetually single saying all men are trash.

Part of marriage is being there for your husband while he works through his health struggles, which depending on your views of drug addiction, this would fall under. He seems like a good man struggling with a health issue based off of your post. It would be one thing if he was still doing cocaine and refusing to say he has a problem and won't go to therapy, but he seems to be making an honest to God effort to get better for you and him. You're married and moved to another country for him, you sh…

In my experience, men like this won't ever change no matter the woman or relationship.
/r/RedPillWomen27/12/23 09:32 PM

I had a physically abusive relationship and a string of relationships with people who didn't respect my sexual boundaries, both due to me having unprocessed trauma leading me to subconsciously seek out abusive people. I met a guy by chance who didn't pressure me to do sexual things I had already said no to and didn't physically abuse me. The relationship showed me what a loving relationship is supposed to be like. He was kind, sensitive towards my feelings, and had self respect and confidence. t…

If we're looking through a pragmatic rpw lens rather than a moralistic lens, then having a high body count is undesirable since there's more men who desire a low body count over men who desire a high body count. That doesn't mean it's an end all be all by any means though.

which is in my eyes a lot and more than he does my husband has indicated he feels under appreciated and not respected by me which I know is not good. I can see why he feels that way, you're comparing your two contributions and think you're contributing more while not entirely knowing what he has to deal with and go through. You're fulfilling the typical woman's role in the relationship while he fulfills the man's role. Instead of seeing it as a team effort to make a family work, you're seeing it…

It sounds like predictable problems a single dad of a 4 year old would go through, I doubt it's going to end after this current custody battle. Just comes with the territory of dating a single dad, you're going to likely have to deal with baby mama drama and you'll never be his first priority.

If this isn't a troll post, focus on what you can provide for men rather than what they can provide for you, and the good men will follow.

Oh geez, yea when respect for the man is lost, the relationship will go into a crazy cycle. I really really suggest OP reads this, if I had to have one post be mandatory reading for every woman here, it'd be this post. Being the bigger person and breaking the cycle through having respect for your man for the sake of love is the best way a woman can help a relationship where the man doesn't feel respected and the woman doesn't feel loved.

Yea from what I understand, RPW isn't advice for abusive relationships, it's advice for healthy relationships after a solid vetting process.

just dont go on the date from the get go if you already feel this way, it's just a first date, its not like they've been dating for two years.

Yea in practical terms, offering to pay for your half of the date leads to less expectations on his end and doesn't mean that he won't take you out on and pay for dates later.

To him, it may seem like you're not capable of doing both at the same time like (I presume) he did, and that you're not able to handle stressful situations like medical school well. When someone becomes ambitious, they tend to reevaluate those around them and feel further apart from those who don't also feel ambitious, that happens in general when someone improves their life drastically. You're 22 about to be in your third year of your undergrad (with desires to go to med school) talking about t…

I agree with this take, the kind of guy who'd be going for 19 year olds while 29 is likely either going to be immature, have a mental health issue stunting growth (like adhd), or highly value youth in women. It sounds like he's grown up and gotten his life together and I think him not supporting OP on taking a year break may be because it reminds him of his old self lacking ambition he should have had. The best advice I have for OP is to match him, he's boosted his dating market value and she ne…

With LDRs you need a realistic plan to close the gap, I've known so many LDRs that just had no hopes of doing that then people are surprised it didn't work out. Right now, it seems like you're holding out hope that you can change him or inspire him to come to your state. It's been four months and this doesn't seem to be happening.

I have a specific day I do everything, starting with something easy like making my bed, which gives me momentum to do other things. Once I make my bed, I pick up around my room and vacuum, then I go to take the trash out. I have hard limits of where I put things, for example I never put anything that isn't strictly necessary on my desk or bed, which gives me safe places and makes sure I put things where they belong.

I also don't think gifts that are also for yourself in addition to the other person is generally a very good idea. I think the suggestion of making him something hand crafted would mean a lot more to him.

I will also add that I cheated on my previous boyfriend before the current one. He knows this Well no shit he does, your last boyfriend you cheated on, it wasn't even one a decade ago from high school or something. You can't expect someone to not use your past to help predict your future.

It's also very common among minorities who get heavily discriminated against like trans people. Sex work is naturally exploitative of those less fortunate, especially in its current state in our current system.

I browsed trp subreddit a bit and its crazy the contrast between there and here. Here, it seems mostly self improvement and being not only the best woman and wife you can be, but also the best person you can be. On trp, they seemingly think a woman will never love you long term (its only your turn, etc), to only use women for sex, so on and so forth. I get its to override men's protective instinct, but I don't see much past that.

Also if someone relies on another person for basic adult things, they'll never grow to a point of self reliance. Not asking for help from my parents for example anymore really pushed me and made me have to learn how to do these things myself and teach myself how to learn.

He's your boyfriend, not your father, there's a distinct difference between taking care of someone and them being heavily dependent on your for basic adult things. Men want things to be easy and for you to make their life easier, by offloading your responsibilities onto him, you're doing the opposite of that.

4) BIGGEST ONE: I don't say disparaging things about men. I used to jokingly say things like "I hate men" or "fuck men" with my friends when I was younger, but I'm actively working on avoiding those sorts of jokes, because I wouldn't be comfortable with a guy saying those things about women! It blows my mind that so many women don't see why this would lead to men not wanting to date them. Respect is central to making a man feel loved, why would any man or good relationship come from one person c…

What is the realistic plan for making that happen? Mentioning so and so off hand then not doing anything about it is how you end up in situations like the OP. His desire is understandable but you have to make it happen otherwise engagement will never happen.
