Not a woman, but my 2 cents. In a very general sense, left leaning people want to pool resources, while right leaning people want to compete for resources. Those that want to compete for resources are generally those capable of winning that competition, and those who don't want to compete are generally those who are going to lose. Hence you find more successful right leaning people and dare I say it, 'uglier' people and their predators on the left. Not conforming to 'traditional' beauty standard…

Yes it's a bit more complicated than what I said, but the core of the message still stands. OP asked who a 'chad' marries, the answer is someone around their SMV. I think OPs question is valid and one many women have. Because they don't understand the biological constraints of sexual relationships. Perhaps I should have said a 'chad' is an 8-10, he marries or commits to 8 to 10's. But can and will sleep with 6 to 8s. What kind of man a woman wants to marry, is a man as fancy as possible, that wi…

Chad is really just a man with a higher SMV than the woman. ie if the woman is a 7 and the man is a 9, he's a Chad to her. He's not going to marry a 7, but he will sleep with her. He's going to marry a 9.

You're hurting the other person by not valuing what they have to say. By not actively listening and finding the interest in their contribution. It's possible to be bubbly & extroverted while caring and actively listening. Realise that you're hurting the other person by talking so much that they begin to get bored, don't care and begin dislike being around you. When one cares about an other they listen to their perspective, value their contribution and therefor find it interesting. It's a huge co…

It's OK to disagree. But to clear up my perspective I meant in my hypothetical scenario to be talking about the female not the boyfriend, who was showing effort and not jumping ship. In answering why a guy might be inclined to sign on for this.

Drama? Shows she has a heart and soul. No situation is perfect. Who would you rather on your team? Someone that makes a concerted effort & sacrifices for those they care about. Or one who jumps ship on the first bus out of town? One of those I'd jump through fire for, the other... I'd wish them luck.

Here's a different perspective. It will be harsher. It has nothing to do with all those skills you improved at. They are all valuable, attractive and desirable in a pair bond relationship. Most times this issue happens because the girl is dating above herself. i.e girl is a 7, trying to land 8s and 9s. A guy will sleep with a girl who has lower SMV but won't commit. But this is not always the case. Perhaps you are just signalling casual mating. Anyway, the way you change it is the same. Get comm…

Guys perspective. No, I don't think it's cool (assuming he's actually communicating with them and not just 'following' them). Being upset about it, isn't the unhealthy part. It's a lack of respect and not a trivial one. He's not conversing with these women because it's interesting. It's because they're sexually interesting. And given half a chance... It's one thing to catch a glimpse at some cleavage walking past. It's another to go up and chat to her in front of you. Which I feel this is the eq…

You will never be his intellectual equal and he doesn't need you to be. He long ago came to terms that no one would ever understand the world the way he does. Some people understand some things he does, others other things. He can consult those people as needed or truck on by himself. You can't do everything. Trying makes you annoying or insincere. He doesn't need you to be stimulating in that way. He needs you to be understanding of his emotions, not understanding of his concepts. At times, he'…

Very nice answers here skirting the likely. Exercise doesn't decrease sex drive, it increases it. Being tired isn't an honest excuse. Tough pill to swallow could be he doesn't find you as attractive anymore. Has your appearance(weight) changed I wonder. Is he doing other options? Further down the list T levels, seeing a doctor is the answer to that.

It's in your DNA to care about his resources, income and ambition (future resources). A child is a huge investment for a woman in their bodies and time and any relationship consideration has this in mind either consciously or subconsciously through generations of DNA. Just as it is natural for him to care about a woman's tits and ass. As these are signs of fertility. What's the thing in common? It's natural. And that it's not very nice to be considered as just a pair of tits, or the resources yo…

OK, I fucked up. Binge eating and anorexia are not related. If you've had issues with anorexia (OCD), you understand the status loss associated with weight gain. In which case, I'm sorry I went too hard and gave you awful and dangerous advice. Most women vastly underestimate the status loss of being overweight. You overestimate it. And underestimate the risk to your life. People suffering anorexia think the status loss is far worse than it is and can vividly imagine and over estimate horrible wo…

OK, BMI is a rough guideline and not accurate. A more exact measure, is % body fat, where 32% is obesity classification, which I'd bet is close in this case. Whatever you want to call it, it is overweight and not by 10 -15lb. If significant lean body mass, then 140lb or even higher would be fine, but I doubt most people in this situation have that lean body mass and something like 120lb is where they should be at. So realistically you'd be looking at 45lb of fat to lose and probably about 20lb o…

Harsh truth: That weight on that height is obese. Women undervalue how servere being overweight has an effect on their attractiveness. It's a big deal to men. Much bigger than women think. Just lose the weight and get healthy. Make a lifestyle change to eat clean at appropriate amounts and exercise regularly. This is ficiton, but if its true you need to realize two things. If one's on the team because they brown nose the coach and are not any good, the whole team resents it (and the team sucks). TRP movement was about 'getting gud' so that you can't be denied, not bum sucking those in authority positions. One goes to those extra football activies to 'get better' so they can't be denied (i.e. the whole fucking point), not to brown nose the fucking coach and be his lap dog. Being friendly and 'nice', l…

These songs are written in collaboration by teams of people. Professional songwriters, marketeers, psychologists. Men and women. The individual pop stars have nothing to do with songwriting, they are simply the face of the brand name. They are the Nike swoosh, not the shoes. Similar lessons can be learnt. Instead of the 'songwriter thinks this', the lessons is, 'this song resonates and sells to our target demographic'.

Women will date down, they won't sleep down. Women dating down and not sleeping down with who they're dating, is the essence of all the sob stories here. Women park on resources (to look after them, their eggs and future offspring) until they find something better. Men park on the best eggs (spin plates) they can that they don't have to commit on until they find something better. Of course often women don't realise, like we said, that they are not dating down. Until they hit their late 20's and …

She's on the right track. But that's where she goes wrong. Instead of changing the SM for the worse, she's just not hot enough. Men will sleep down if they can do it without committing resources. The problem she and other women like this aren't realizing, is that their standards are too high. They think they're a good 2 points higher than they are. Good enough for an occasional roll in the sack with a higher value man, but if they want some commitment, they need to lower their standards. Coz the…

I can only speak for the women I know, yes there are rougher ones, bu tthere's also plenty of respectful, courteous, interesting and feminine women. The rare part is all that combined with 'hot as fuck'. Combine the 2 and it's worth 1000's an hour. It's like that today, as it always was and always will be. Yep, it doesn't matter. I work in what some may call a 'sexy' field. If I talk to someone, especially women, about it, they only want to hear about the 'fun/sexy' parts, which is 5% or less of day to day life. They don't want to hear about the mundane day to day stuff and they aren't capable of discussing the more advanced, interesting parts. So I try to avoid it at all costs. All OP is missing is about 2 seconds of her eyes lighting up. Which u can get plenty of other ways.

I could catch a handful of lies with every person i meet within a few minutes. Perhaps you prefer women whose lies are greater than your ability to detect them. Plenty of fish in the sea for some. Anyways insults aside, it's idiotic to assume that if someone lies about one thing, they are worthless regarding all over things (apart of course, from vagina value).

It may be wise to be careful. She's probably just bored like /u/50pluspiller mentions, but it could be other things. If there's no catalyst for her behaviour it's very possible she may be suffering from depression. May be worth checking she's medically fine first. Something /u/50pluspiller mentions may be great in many circumstances, but if she's suffering from depression it will make things worse.

Yeah, the TV show got a lot right (I don't agree with it being overly feminist, it just has female characters), but they fucked up Yara. In the TV shows, she's a full on girl 'powa' dyke. Whereas in the books, whilst she's a strong character who can lead, she's still feminine and a woman who enjoyed being raped. But we can't have that on a TV show, can we? :)

It's a little idealistic to expect agreements to always run as planned. In finance, billions have been won and lost from accurate assessment of counterparty risk. Realistic assessment of counterparty risk in relationships ignored for ideal expectations is going to end in pain.

It's an entertaining read. People here (mostly US I assume) are very upset and surprised at infidelity. I don't think monogamy is a natural state, so wouldn't be as surprised or upset when discovering the affair. The level gone to seems extreme, but people can be vindictive and I have no idea how men are treated in divorce courts where you're from and perhaps this kind of stuff is necessary.

re story 2: Maybe if you didn't fire them on the spot, the company would be worth significantly more than the 20% (negotiable) that would have been given up in ownership. This is a maths problem, not a strategic issue. Also selling ownership is always worth considering, if not for opportunities of growth increasing greater than ownership lost. But because there is always the very real possibility that something can be sold for more than it's worth.

I don't think this trend can be dismissed as 'junk'. It's a trend across all media. TV, movies, video games (as mentioned by OP), music, dance, news media. It's prevalent. About the only thing it hasn't invaded yet is sports. And well, that's because it's just not possible. I'm sick of it too. This was my favorite line and where I had to give up the rest. Felt like i was reading a wierd mix of a Mills and Boon novel from the perspective of a guy. I'm talking semi-pro/pro level. When I said young, I was thinking a young man, 18-22. It's simply not possible to have access to "more athletic opponents that aren't as skilled" that are better players so as to be useful for training purposes. They just don't exist. I understand you want to be right and I didn't put enough 'womenz hate' in my initial post for everyone to feel good about. I've played plenty of girls teams at hockey as training drills like mentioned above. Not national teams but just below that. It's a pretty stupid drill if the coaches keep the game going to get to the point of 54-4. Yes they're obviously less athletic, slower and weaker. But often they play smarter. None have ever had temper tantrums. One did get a little pissy at me once. But I did accidently knock her unconscious. I've done it before too, not to this extreme, but enough to make someone be ambivalent towards no more contact. There's no real need to make up a tonne of lies for this to work well, just some temporary behaviour modifications to achieve ones goal. Effective in ending things in a neutral way without backlash. And because contact with the other in the future is likely to be ongoing (work, similar social circles, etc). If done well, then you can see the person again, instantly go back to your prev…

I think you've been reading posts on the TRP a little too much and are slightly confused. Many guys there have been bad with women or just socially inept for a long, long time.
