1	A question for the people here There is no possible way to "fix the brain" there has been years and years of research done on this and as a result we have the Harry Benjimin method of treatment. The reason the treatment is hormone injections is because of the effect of hormones on the body, not the brain. the problem is both brain AND body. they are at odds with each other and since we can not change the brain we change the body.	/r/MensRights	15/12/12 05:42 AM
3	A question for the people here Transsexuality is not a hormone deficiency. Injecting more testosterone would not "fix" them. 2	A question for the people here And that is I think the largest problem, there simply are not enough people to create a separate league so that is why I think this question is really important. Also age of transition and length of time on hormone therapy is going to have a very large impact on the differences that you stated to further complicate making a "transgender rule" to apply across an entire group.	/r/MensRights	14/12/12 10:23 PM
3	A question for the people here Well to give you an idea, Testosterone is a controlled substance BECAUSE of it's use as a performance enhancer. Estrogen has the exact opposite effect as it hinders ones ability to build and maintain muscle mass. 6	A question for the people here I tend to agree with this but less on the account of gender and more on the line that sanctioned sports is never "fair". If you think about it... 3	A question for the people here While I will not argue the validity of changing gender I will however say this, Transsexualism is a birth defect that causes severe enough mental anguish to cause about 60% of those afflicted by it to attempt suicide and about 20% to succeed. The only proven treatment is hormone treatment and surgery. If you think it's artificial or not... it is beyond argument that is saves lives.	/r/MensRights	14/12/12 10:04 PM
