Women are much more social. Much of their success in social interactions are reliant on their peer groups. Not their fault, just the way it is. The same gendered bias doesn't work for men. We naturally compete, even if we dont need to. Women bond and appease, even if they don't need to.

This is the stupidest take I've seen on here. It is only unproductive and traumatic if you are not doing something you were already going to do and not having fun. It is only objectifying and dehumanizing you if you are not respecting yourself and doing something you dont want to. "Driving a car is dangerous and you should never get behind the wheel"

Its just embarrassing that you've stopped trying to compete all together. If height doesn't stop other guys, why should race? Just put yourself in the best position to win with the cards you were delt. I think you have the right mindset about putting your head down and focusing on yourself, should be doing that with or without getting what you want from dating. Dip your toes back in the pool every now and then, dont lose your touch completely.

I've had many 1st dates and many 5th dates. The best way to get to a second date is to have sex of the first date. If you're looking for commitment, search for answers elsewhere. Commitment = connection = "good for me" partner

This is great advice, for your grandmother. Do women really not get a sense of a guy after a few interactions with him? Also, to say to hold off on sex is problematic for a few reasons. Weponizes sex/ Ignores your own desires Slower understanding of sexual chemistry Reduces your value to your vagina Ladies, take this advice and you be left horny with many men walking

LMAO MachoManInTO, everyone reacts/ responds to experiences (including trauma) differently. Lets take me for example. Not a great childhood by some measures, but I've also spent a decade living away from home at boarding school/ uni, so I've had a variety of people who've "raised me". Never had a relationship although Im pretty attractive and highly empathetic. Is is because I have a bad attachment style or because I am a commitment phobe like many guys? Is it because I wasn't held as a baby (no…

I think therapy is great for people who lack introspection and cannot get to the root of their problems. At the end of the day, I cannot imagine just "talking" to someone that isn't apart of the situation is going to solve anything that self-talk + action cannot Hope you get better soon :)

What? Every relationship is different and I think as a lesbian you're making a fairly blanket statement to something you have no clue about. Theres women I only have sex with Theres women I only help move Theres women I do both for Theres women I do nothing with

Considered it. The way I see it is that therapy/ life coaches are for average people with measly problems. I haven't found anyone I could relate to everything about yet alone learn everything I want to excel from. I need various subject matter experts (and I am on my path to finding them), not some one who's going to teach me how to live a measly life. 24/25M, you?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
