1	Would you women be offended if your boyfriend took you to Macdonald’s when he took past hook ups to Morganfield’s? I am guessing Morganfield's is some kind of posh American restaurant chain. In the UK if you took someone on a date to McDonald's you would be perceived as a 'chav' which is slang for a low class youth with low intellect. That is just the stereotype we have. 1	Does commitment hold women back? Sorry but the idea that women can't work and have to stay home to look after children is ridiculous. I know so many women at my work who have children and still manage to work full time as well. If there is a will there is a way. Yes, it will probably be difficult but if a woman really wants to work then she can find a way around childcare commitments. 1	The issue isn't buying things for your girl. The issue is that you feel ENTITLED that I buy YOU things BECAUSE you're my girl. A restaurant is the worst idea for a first date. It just ends up being awkward and it turns into more of a job interview. Way too formal as well for a first date. The best dates I had was when we were doing an activity together like ice skating or bowling.
