If it is any consolation, I think "you don't ask a fish to teach you how to fish" applies in both instances. I never feel the need to point it out, though; I don't see why anyone else does either. Maybe you are the exception. Happy sedditing.

I'm in my last year and needed some career advice, and I think I just got an applicable diamond. The best option of course is all possible options. But as a beginner, it is very easy to get caught up hoping for a specific job, and it really can mess you up, which is a danger of holding out too long waiting for that option.

Popular version of the Serenity Prayer God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, Courage to change the things I can, And wisdom to know the difference.

I think you should do some of those to give you credibility. Maybe a compare and contrast.

Upvoting does not adequately express my emphatic agreement with this sentiment.

I suggested she cross-post this, as it is a pretty good "intro"/"starting material" post and right on with seddit theories.

Was there something that clicked or something you would recommend for figuring out what you wanted in life and then going for it? I don't really have goals, seduction included. So I don't go out, get laid, make many new friends... just sort of passing by, day-to-day. How did you figure it out? Still near DC? Still IT? I have a friend my age (20s) who you remind me of also near DC also IT.

In this case desired effect was eject, I take it? Hard to understand where you're coming from when the only example I have is one where you use "seduction" techniques to eject. LesbianPUA's use is more identifiable. I'd be more interested in hearing about how you use techniques to pick up guys.

My belief is that the PU advice we learn here doesn't get your laid, it prevents you from fucking up when a girl has decided she wants you. For this situation, sure, but in general picking up girls at bars, I'm not sure what you mean by this...?

Why you say leave, you should say "leave or shut up."

I "know" this is pretty basic stuff, but this could have been its own post, as "hey noobs, refresher on PU."

On the one hand, yes you are right, definitely. People should use the search function. On the other hand, people in general respond much better to responses that are specific to them, rather than responses to a general situation or someone else's situation which is exactly like theirs. People will always want to ask "should I approach? how can I approach?" rather than reading general advice about approaching... If you find a way to make people not want individual advice let me know.
