Your comment is ambiguous and non-specific enough to branch out a bit especially when you include ststements like "There's no such tension in female sexuality.".
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/26 01:30 AM

It's a non-sequitur to my comment. No
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/26 01:16 AM

Sure sure but it's a very fitting equivalent and answer in any space where the discussion topic isn't artificially constrained to looks so I still felt like pointing this out. It's also not like men really want this either, they'd certainly prefer her looks wouldn't change during pregnancy.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/26 11:32 PM

There's no such tension in female sexuality. Finding a man sexually attractive doesn't inspire in me a desire to turn him into a sad aged tired sack. The female pendant of this is discussed a lot in red pill spaces though it's not really about appearance but personality and behavior. (I don't really know how much truth there is in this but they claim that) women like to take and tame a risk-taking, exciting, wild and free, maybe to some extent player bad boy and then "beta-fy" him and morph him …

>but according to how the men on this sub think men should be considered attractive (autistically broken down into a bunch of numbers and colors) then clearly he fits the requirements. Depends on who you ask I guess but not really tbh. Height is like 20% of male physical attractiveness and iris colour maybe 3%? Facial bone structure and facial harmony are the most important factors and that's where he has too many flaws to be considered above average

Some women, to some extend, sometimes...? I can not give a clear yes or no answer to that obviously but I just don't think the idea that assholes do not exactly struggle with women is completely produced out of thin air by jealous men. Especially when we have many studies stuggesting that bullies/criminals/men with dark triad traits are less likely to be long-time celibate/single/virgin than the average male.

I think it depends on the sport. If they just have to mechanically execute one motion like the sprinting or jumping olympic disciplines then yeah, they were just blessed with good genetics and trained really hard. Not that interesting. Team sports and combat-based sports pro athletes though can have some more interesting perspectives on mindset and stuff

Do you match with everyone who swipes on you? Yeah I blind swiped right every time How many of these matches resulted in meeting up? Tbh I was not in a place to date and just did this out of boredom. I messaged maybe 10 women and 2-3 of them were interesting but they ghosted me at some point. But I want to delete and reinstall my profile now after having hit this milestone and then actually be intentional about it.

I don't like this tbh because the first date is most likely to be the last. It's the most important "vibe-check". With each additional date the likelihood that you will keep dating increases by a lot. So if you as a man pay for the first date and then she dips (which will often be the case), you drew the short stick which defeats the entire purpose of this. I think my ideal would be 50/50 on the first date only, then alternate after that.

Wikipedia should not be trusted blindly as a reputable source. That article was edited just a couple days ago and does not seem to be of high quality to me. Originally it only meant dating up in terms of social standing (class/income/caste). Manosphere midwits bastardized the term into some tautological "women like men who are attractive". Like if she chose a man that is not equal or below her in every possible attribute then she in some form "hypergamous". It means nothing anymore really

I've heard this argument before and it doesn't make sense to me. Short-term minded men can just approach you themselves right now. Nobody's stopping them. Who approaches shouldn't matter here. Just say no to short-term. Vet them and make them go on dates with you, just like you would if they approached you.

Ok I agree it's unethical but in a similar way to cheating in a relationship, it's not an actual crime. I think the issues with your argument are Not paying a prostitute isn't rape imo, rather something like fraud. Reminds of the position some people have that uncompensated labor is slavery. I disagree because nobody violently forced/coerced them to do the labor in the first place (that would constitute slavery/rape), they just withhold the reward after the fact. That's a fair but in my experience the correlation between money and travelling is not that strong. For instance, here in Europe you can do completely free and paid-for exchange semesters with partner universities within the EU. They have a reputation for being mostly about partying and other "sinful" activities rather than serious academics. Another cheap option that exists here is work-and-travel. And besides that if you are okay with the backpacker lifestyle and staying at cheap hostels (whic…

I don't completely disagree, men tend to get more emotional than women about certain things, but I still think world cup players is among the worst possible examples you could've chosen. For someone to qualify as "emotional" to a degree it's worth pointing out, they'd have to get emotional about trivial things. Not their entire life's goals and effort being at stakes. The Zidane incident was so exceptional that it's a meme 20 years later and probably more well-known than anything else about the …

"over a game" is crazy reductive. Pro sports and especially the football world cup is one of the most highly competitive, highest stakes environments of our age. They have worked hard their entire lives for this moment and winning or losing potentially decides over life-long fame and wealth. It's very expected behaviour. I would agree though if you made this point about hardcore football fans who get overly emotional over their team's losses they have no actual stakes in.

>openness to experience Yeah that's what I thought too, openness to experience is probably consistent across domains: if you enjoy the novelty of exploring new countries, you likely also enjoy meeting new people and yes also new sexual experiences. Not even saying that's a bad trait, openness is linked to higher intelligence too, it's just that correlations exist. Another (unrelated point) thing is that I vaguely remember some study found that women tend to more promiscuous in unfamiliar social …

An issue I have with these "objective face rating"-communities is that they are inconsistent in accounting for age. A big reason the TRM subreddit tends to earn so much derision from normies is that it compares young people to their peers in their age group. An average 20 years old young woman is very attractive and most men/people would intuitively rate her a 7 or 8 on the "normie scale". Then they see TRM rates her a 5 (as other 20 years old women are the reference point and she is just averag…

Others have pointed it out already but your error is thinking that asking for a paternity test is the same as legally accusing someone of a crime. It is not. It will likely damage the relationship or lead to a break-up. That's not the same as legal punishment though. Now if he were to actually legally to accuse her of paternity fraud in attempt to get reparation payments (in a reality where such a thing exists (and that I would find favourable)) then sure he should be punished heavily. Not the point. Height is not indicative of favourable personality traits in a relationship And since OP said > If living with a man, by default, is an incredibly bad deal and likely to get you screwed over, it's only logical to look for traits that indicate that you'll be less likely to be screwed over. It's very valid to point that out.

> Average is a perfect candidate for LL because going from short to average does not change anything. Wrong. The jump from short to average height is much more significant than the jump from average to tall height, both in terms of general respect and especially with regards to attraction from women. He used to be 171cm(5'7) tall which tbf is noticably below average height here in Germany. He did a first leg-lengthening surgery and then turned out be 182cm(5'11). That is a perfectly average, adequate height and if his goal was to just "not be short" he could've stopped right there. But nope…

Prelimary I will say that even if that were true it wouldn't matter imo because the crux of the matter is whether a preference for a trait in a partner is valid even if you yourself don't possess this trait. Who cares if the trait in question or the preference for it is dimorphic or not or shaped by genetics or by society, like why does it matter here that they're in different "categories"? > inb4 evo psych analysis The "evo psych analysis" is very simple, straightforward and strong. As a male m…

Those are all arbitrary constraints that don't matter imo. The common thread is someone/a gender has a preference for a trait which they themself do not possess and don't need to possess because the preference for trait (rather than the trait itself) is dimorphic. Getting mad at a short woman preferring tall men imo would be more like getting mad at a thick stocky man preferring women with small waists and long legs. That’s the best comparison I can think of. Another one (which is actually a rea…

n count is not a sexually dimorphic trait in the same way height is. so it’s not really the best comparison. Seems like an arbitrary constraint that doesn't matter for the comparison. Now that I think of it, a better objection to the comparison would be that height is a genetic trait that's mostly aesthetics while n count difference might indicate a difference in values and lifestyle.

Yeah it's probably a factor. As mentioned in the article it's correlated with autism and depression. I have this issue too but not nearly to the degree in the given example. Like sometimes I'll give a short answer and then I'm internally like 'Oh shit they probably want me to expand on that and not just the literal answer' and I'll elaborate later with a delay of 1-2 seconds

This is the issue with women's terrible "dating tips" spawned from their incredible in-group bias and irrational lean towards harm-aversion. They would rather have 99 well-meaning but careful guys completely blow their chances by acting too 'beta' just to prevent the 1 in 100 scenario of a guy being too pushy and making a woman uncomfortable. Would him being blond/blue really make a difference in his popularity? No. My initial comment was a bit tongue in cheek anyway. It's already well-established in communities concerned with facial aesthetics that coloring doesn't matter much and is just the icing on the cake if you're already attractive all around (and in case of men, dark hair is even favourable cause it correlates with dark, prominent eyebrows)

/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/26 01:49 AM

I suppose for most of human history women didn't have much of a job besides child bearing so there was no reason to select for anything besides physical traits important for that. No social or political power so no reason to select for other traits like charisma. But idrk either, it's a bit of a mystery to me too

Even with mammals species there are many examples of male peacocking, gorillas, lions, deers etc. And i wonder why I think humans are more monogamous and lean towards 1:1 pairings rather than a 'winner takes it all'-scenario where one male gets all the females. The selection pressure is more equalized between males and females, they both have to try to find a good long-term mate so less pressure on males specifically to look good. And also, humans are a more advanced species so our personality, …
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/26 08:25 PM

> I wonder if humans were most similar to birds, it would be the males who would have to dress up to try impressing women. It's not just birds, in almost any animal species the males are the ones to peacock and try to one-up each other with their looks while the females are dull looking. Humans are very unique in this regard
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/26 05:29 PM

So I guess according to bluepillers now there is NO way to EVER find out someone's body count or even estimate it, there are NO clues whatsoever, NOBODY asks about it and even if they did you could always just LIE which is totally OKAY. I don't disagree with anything you wrote here. If anything you reinforced my point. Men definitely have "casual only" and "LTR material" categories as well and I'm sure that's very frustrating for women, just in a different (kinda the opposite) way. But I felt the comment I replied to was implying that they are same, which I wanted to point out is not the case.

Why 'easy sex', you can vet him the same over the course of multiple dates just like the guy who approached you first
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/26 09:50 PM

But there's another problem. A man will most likely say yes to a woman approaching. That doesn't mean he really likes her, it's just an opportunity for sex. When a guy pursues a woman and she says yes, it's more likely she's really interested. I'd much rather be told no than a fake yes I'd actually wager it's the other way around. The kind of man who approaches many women is likely a fuckboy (the kind of guy who looks for sex opportunistically). Even if most men who do approach do so with genuin…

Which is my first reason as to why approaching a woman means it's already over. I disagreed with the title, but then I basically agreed with almost everything in the post. In the end it comes down to your level of inhibition. Inhibition-level is like a subset of social skills. Good social skills require an adjusted level of inhibition to make people around you feel comfortable. Both too high and too low inhibition are bad and will probably make other people uncomfortable, in the case of high inhibition, bored. Full restitution, fine, compensation (also to the real father and the child). Taken together would most likely condemn her to poverty for the rest of her life trying to rid of the heavy dept. If she doesn't pay, jail of course. I also like the idea of putting her in some registry. Edit: Also upon reading the comments I would definitely extend the legal definition of paternity fraud to also include cases where the mother was just not 100% certain it's the legal (but not actually) father's child. …

I think an argument could be made that paternity fraud is especially heinous because, in a way, it's a mini genocide of his line. I agree, the potential opportunity costs are incredible. You can absolutely draw comparisons to murder in severity, imo. Kill a 70 yo man, ok whatever, he already lived a full life and only had like 10 years left anyway. Commit paternity fraud on a 30 yo man, keep it up for 20 years, and you basically destroyed his life. He will likely not be able to find a new wife a…

About 10% of Germans identify as homo- or bisexual (with more gay men than lesbian women) In the comment section of the news article, these are cited as explanations for the gender disparity but neither are sufficient to explain it. But that's an extreme outlier. Not representative for average people who are somewhere in the spectrum of average looks (which most struggling males are in as well). I could now also claim that personality is the most important thing because Tourette syndrom or a severe intellectual disability make it difficult to find a relationship...it doesn't affect the average person and doesn't make much sense. see birds of paradise, penguins with their cute ass pebbles and rocks, and big cats. They don't display boldness in their mating dance, they display competence and physical prowess. I don't think approach anxiety is a thing in tiny bird brains lol so, why should women not want acts of boldness? Boldness and confidence is literally one of THE most desirable traits and what drives attraction and interest. That's tautological. "Boldness is desirable cause it's desirable." Cool.

Yeah this is something I've been thinking about (mostly in the context of a man missing or not responding to a subtle hint and the woman then immediately giving up and thinking he's not interested which is a common occurence) Basically those few bold, confident men act as ambassadors for the entire male gender and they skew women's perception of man. They will lead them to think that "Oh I guess if a man is interested in me he will be super red-blooded and pursue me boldly and aggressively. If h…

Yeah I think height might be more significant irl when she sees how your height compares to other men live. But online, women will look at your pics and decide if they find you cute; if no -> left swipe, if yes -> look through your profile and if it's interesting enough -> right swipe The scenario of "Oh he's chopped but I'm gonna right swipe anyway cause he's tall!" is just not a thing that happens. And neither is "Oh he's really cute but I'm gonna left swipe cause he's only average height!" Ma…

Yeah pretty much. It's not that tattoos and gym are super attractive (although they are to an extent) but moreso the kind of person that is attractive is also just the kind of person that goes to the gym and gets tattoos. The correlation is the other way around.

Ok I get it, but I don't agree. I think many young men today look down the exact same behaviours and dynamics that were seen under a different light a couple generations ago. Back then men used to "beg" women the same way

/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/26 02:20 PM

The jester meme got me thinking. The fact it became so popular showcases something greater. A couple decades ago, being given the chance to court a woman was considered an honor for men. Men who were not very good-looking were proud to woo a woman with their wit and personality and self-sacrifice. But nowadays it's seen as a humiliation ritual. More young men than ever absolutely refuse to approach a woman in public. More men want to go 50:50 and not pay for everything on dates. (Younger) Men ha…

Question for women (and men?) who are in favour of the social expectation of men paying for dates but against the social expectation of women being low count (and judged + considered unattractive if they aren't): How does this make sense? How is it not hypocritical? The reason I'm bringing this up is because the arguments posited in recent threads to back up the social expectation of men paying for dates, in my opinion, can be used to justify any one-sides gendered expectation: - "If he pays it …

That's a good way to put it, I've been thinking something similar. There are forums/subreddits about loneliness and depression and whenever a women joined these spaces and said sth like "I feel so lonely, I only have my boyfriend :(" the men would often be absolutely outraged about that and how she dared to associate with them because it's just unfathomable to us men that someone with a partner would feel lonely but to women that's just barely the "baseline"

It really does seem like you pay an attractiveness "tax" when you try to date women online. I've talked about this with other men and it seems pretty consistent that the average women interested in us online is ~2 points less attractive on the decile scale than our "true match" that might be interested in us irl. I think online dating is naturally advantageous for men because it's more low effort and allows us to skip making a first move (approaching) which would be challenging and intimidating …

Hm, with 1,72m you are starting to approach the 'noticeably below average height'-range (in Germany). I guess it's to be expected that some women might reject you for that. But in the US it seems they are absolutely obsessed with the "6 feet"-threshold which is then basically required be considered of attractive height. We don't really have an equivalent of that in Germany. I think once you pass the 'not noticeably below average height'-threshold at like ~1,75m and above (sorry) I think you are …

I'll be honest, if I hadn't been sucked into American internet forums from a young age, I probably wouldn't even have 'found out' about height being apparently important in dating until much later in life. Ye I've always maintained the real black pill is that personality does matter more than looks, but the personality traits that are important are similarly immutable as your looks. Low extroversion and high neuroticism are stable throughout life, so are anxiety/avoidant/schizoid personality disorders and ofc. autism.

Another similarity to point out here is that both job interviews and "relationship interviews" primarily assess your interview skills and not 'job-' or 'relationship skills'. One is supposed to be the proxy for other, but it's not perfect.

I've been thinking about this as well. It's the same thing with the #metoo-movement. The only men who listen to this stuff are agreeable, respectful men who would never hurt a fly anyway. Their "don't bother or annoy women"-mindset is now at a level where thry might not even do the necessary steps for completing mating ritual anymore (approaching, flirting,...). We see in the rise of sexless men without relationships. They were effectively removed from the dating pool. Meanwhile, the anti-social…

Yeah I know. But to someone who is very blue-pilled it's quite unintuitive. With how much women publicly complain about abuse in relationships and whatnot one would think they'd be more risk-averse in their partner selection.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/26 01:29 PM

It's valid and yeah it can be a negative quality depending on how you see it but you could also argue it's a kind of neutral or at least harmless trait because it's at least not actively harmful. So sometimes men will be a bit bewildered because a lot of women will choose a guy with actively harmful qualities over a guy who is boring but at least harmless/neutral.

First off, chill. It's not that serious. Height is not the most important variable for women's partner choice, not even close. A more interesting question to ask e.g. would be, why there are still introverted or shy men(?) Secondly, genetic variability just exists. Men today are already much taller than ~200 years ago. They're not short, they are shortER than taller men today. The only way to get rid of "short" men then would be to get rid of genetic variability so that every man has the exact s…

It's wrong to say that men generally "age like fine wine" (they don't) but it's also wrong to say men's attractiveness is affected by age the same way a women's is. It's nuanced and the truth is somewhere inbetween. As an absolute statement it's a cope and a revenge fantasy but there is an element of truth to it. Like if I were dining at a restaurant and the guy at the table next to me had to pay less for the same food and also got an extra coke and dessert for free for no good reason then I would be mad EVEN IF I wouldn't have liked sugery food…

No, I disagree. I think most people have a natural, healthy sense of self-respect and pride.

If you’ve never seen Hinge prompts or Tinder/Bumble bios talking about men’s heights you were probably on the app for only 5 minutes. Never, I swear, and I've been using dating apps for 2 years on and off. But I'm also not from the US. I feel like this height craze isn't really a thing here in Europe

I have never ever seen a woman write sth about height in her dating app prompt/bio and I've been on apps for a long time. But now that I think about it I only read the profiles of women after I matched with them. And considering I'm not super tall those women probs just filter themselves out lol

Hinge is the one dating app that does it right and severely limits the amount of likes men can send out (I think it's 8 a day), thus forcing them to be more selective. On Tinder and Bumble all women will receive an incredbile amount of likes cause men swipe indescriminately.

This is one of the few issues where even I as a very "pilled" man will always agree. The use of this language genuinely seems quite misogynist to me and there is no good excuse for it. I don't like how culturally accepted it is. But I will also say that a lot of women don't seem to mind this language and even seem to enjoy the fantasy of being ruined/humiliated/whatever by a high-value man.

The height thing is women having anxiety about how they compare to other women. The heights of their male partners are just an easy and visible things to compare. That's my theory as well, I think height isn't nearly as important for "raw, primal physical attraction" as it's made out to be, I think your face and probably even your body type/muscles (and obviously personality) are more important but women just lovee flexxing on other women by flaunting their high market value partners. And height…

In my opinion the moral panic around 'negging'' is completely overblown. The entirety of PUA/red pill is basically about teaching socially stunted lowkey autistic men to emulate the behaviours that socially adept attractive men just do naturally. They use snappy edgy language to appeal and sell their courses or whatever better. So "light flirty banter" becomes "negging". Women in their usual solipsism regarding men don't even realize that men who are bad at flirting even exist. If a men were int…

Hypergamy in the original sense means seeking mates above one's own "social caste" e.g. you're middle class and hyperfocus on seeking an upper class mate. Women do not really do this and most people just pair up assortatively within their own social league. The manosphere then bastardized the term to also apply to other qualities like looks and it morphed into some weird tautology "women find attractive men more attractive". Like yeah no shit. In most relationships the man earns more than the wo…

Yes but your vote could also be the potential lynchpin that could tip the favour so that blue wins which leads to an INCREDIBLE amount of utility. I'm not doing the math on that but just intuitively I think it depends on what you expect the rest of the population to vote. Majority red? Sure, vote red yourself to not die in vain and keep the utility of your own life. Expect it to be somewhat close like in the screenshot you posted? Better vote blue.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/26 05:05 PM
2

Yeah
/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/26 04:40 PM

Voting red and voting blue would both lead to the same outcome (everyone's survival) as universal maxims. In this case, yes, due to how this specific scenario is set up and only under the assumption that everyone follows their duty to vote red. But it's about the general maxim that is generalizable and applicable to more scenarios and in general, a universal maxim that gives people the duty to act in a way to ensure population survival is preferable to most people. Also, certain utilitarian view…
/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/26 04:40 PM
1

"I ought never to act except in such a way that I could also will that my maxim should become a universal law." -> a maxim that universally leads people to vote blue would be a preferable to one that universally leads people to vote red -> therefore vote blue "People ought to act in a way that maximizes aggregate utility in a society" -> in this case voting blue increses likelihood of more people surviving while red doesn't -> therefore vote blue to maximize (likelihood of high) utility

/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/26 03:53 PM

but there's no defensible moral framework that should lead a consistent mind to vote blue I'm pretty sure both Kantian deontology as well as pretty much any form of consequentialism/utilitarianism would decisively lean to vote blue

quite frankly anyone voting 2 deserves natural selection But ironically on a species or societal level, the group where most vote red select themselves out and the one with higher cohesion wins.

It exists and other users here already explained it really well. One thing I would add is that I believe there is only one realistic way to get out of the friendzone which is to completely break off all contact with the woman and then reintroduce yourself to her a couple years later. A sufficiently long time period inbetween might make it possible overwrite the first impression and start anew. But moving from friendzoned->lover directly is probably almost impossible.

But America is 300 million people— you don't actually care about them, right? Just you and yours. Would it actually change your priorities if America was the size of north america, and included canada and mexico? What about both americas? (I'm not American so idk) There are levels to this. It depends on how much I relate to them and see them …
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/26 01:29 PM

No matter how much leftists try to deny it, I think humans are just by nature tribal and proprietary. Fighting for your home country will probably always more enticing for the average man than fighting some abstract idea of 'human rights' that some elites came up with

It's even worse than that, women are basically the exact opposite of men in this regard and have a "pre-nut clarity" but often become enarmoured with a guy AFTER sex which affects them differently on a hormonal level.

There is a contradiction. Can't have your cake and eat it too.

You are correct, but your blindspot is that e.g. if I were a 5 so that 5/10 girls are in my league and if I now were to somehow improve my looks and become an 8 (which is impossible mind you but just for the sake of argument) then I could go back to the 5/10 girls and have a much easier time with them than 5/10 guys.

I was actually making similar considerations when I had to choose a university for my Master's degree. Ultimately it was between two unis in North vs South Germany respectively. North Germans are noticably taller and more likely to have blue eyes due to influence of Nordic genes. The uni here also has a technical focus so the gender ratio is skewed. So ultimately I'd be competing with more attractive men for fewer women. I went for the Northern uni anyway for unrelated reasons but under the aspe…

/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/26 10:58 PM

Lowkey I actually agree in some sense. But I'm just kinda generally against the cultural tradition of the man paying. It's not really that more attractive women are actually more likely to expect the man to pay if there is an attractiveness-gap but I rather think that men themselves are probably more likely to feel the need to pay if they consider the woman very attractive and worth their investment. And so if you feel an unsually high need to impress or prove yourself to your date, you might be…

Hmm that guy had one exceptionally violent outbreak over an exceptional situation/infidelity (not endorsing his behaviour ofc) and then the woman broke up with him and that's it, but there is no information on previous abuse. If you're talking about me in the air that's a video of me jumping rope. Alright that's probably fine, nevermind then. You want to avoid disqualifying yourself. Any info you give can be "used against you" and lead an ultra selective woman to swipe left on you. You should probably get rid of the romantic notion of only trying to appeal to women who'd be a perfect match for you. Every like you receive, even if you don't like them back, will lead the algorithm to boost your profile and consequently…
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/26 07:18 PM

Decent profile. I'd remove one of the joke pictures (either one) and add another of you doing an activity or being social. In the personal info section, I suggest removing half of it. Giving too much info is a common mistake many men make and it counterintuitively works against them. Age, ocupation, height, that's it. Mayyybe hometown and political affiliation. Anything else is bloat and provides women arbitrary reasons to reject you.

Yeah that's kinda the thing with incels, they only focus on the extreme ends of the spectrum of physical attractiveness. For maybe the bottom 3% and top 3%, personality doesn't matter much, but for everyone inbetween it does and is the main determining factor (though personality isn't abt being a piece of shit or a good person, that doesn't matter for dating). Women are absolutely terrible at compartmentalizing/differentiating different male demographics sometimes. Good for you and I don't doubt your experiences. It's true that men are famously less picky, at least for casual stuff. But this discussion isn't about men vs. women, it's about the difference of young vs. old. So my question to you would be, how does your (perceived) attractiveness/SMV now compare to how it was in your early 20s? If you had to quantify it, are you still 100% as attractive to men as you were back then? Or only 75%? 50%?... I believe the relative drop in SMV that comes with aging…

It doesn't matter who technically ages more rapidly because the discussion is about subjective attractiveness and not objective facial aesthetics. And men discriminate much, MUCH more harshly against visible signs of aging than women do.

I just browsed the Hinge subreddit (as it's the only popular dating app where this behaviour is possible with paying premium) a little bit to confirm my suspicions and it seems I was right – Many women DO passively wait for likes on Hinge and only accept/reject their suitors. Their desire to be chosen by a proactive man extends to the virtual world of dating apps. If you want your own likes, pay for my premium 🤑 But I get the point, it's against women's interest, superficially at least. I need g…

/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/26 03:58 PM

I conjecture many women who use Hinge don't proactively send out likes either but evaluate and accept/reject the ones they receive (Hinge is the one app where they're visible without having Premium). I dunno though
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/26 03:55 PM

Yeah I mean you and the men you seek out are probably just not the target demographic of this app
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/26 03:51 PM

Yeah probably :p Of course I'd word it differently in my marketing
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/26 03:50 PM

I mean I'm not trying to fix the entire dating market holistically, of course not everyone is going to use my app; moreso I want to create a little microcosm where the market is "fixed". Stacies and especially Chads would have ZERO incentive to use my app they will always achieve better results with the already established apps. The app is targeted at average, relationship-minded people. looking for their match if it actually suggests people who are compatible instead of pushing popular profiles…
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/26 03:49 PM

Fair. The idea is optimized for matching happy couples, not for making money. I could make the app exclusive and pay-to-use or have the mentioned paid premium option. Realistically it won't be successful because men prefer the dopamine spike of sending out many likes hoping for a hit and women prefer the dopamine spike of receiving many likes.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/26 03:23 PM

I've been thinking about how to design a dating-app that is more pleasant to use for both genders and organically creates more looksmatched, realistic couples that actually want to date each other. The issue with the existing apps that we need to combat is that they allow both genders to freely exercise their own sexual strategy to the extreme: women and their hyperselective "sniper"-approach and men and their underselective "shotgun"-approach. When they are both allowed to do this, it will lead…

Well yeah it's true. If you "enable" a woman to vent freely without filter about her life issues, you're putting yourself in friendzone-territory really quickly
/r/PurplePillDebate07/03/26 04:38 PM

Yes you identified the male dual-mating strategy - Stacy bucks, Becky fucks.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/03/26 03:45 PM

Yeah for sure. Invisible men are like 90%
/r/PurplePillDebate07/03/26 01:15 PM

In that case, yes, invisible women definitely exist
/r/PurplePillDebate07/03/26 12:54 PM

What do you mean by attention from men? In what situations?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/03/26 12:42 PM
1

Quite the reverse, if he's trying and failing consistently he's probably stunted in somw way, but if he just doesn't try that's whatever
/r/PurplePillDebate07/03/26 12:04 PM
2

You're missing out on a good shitpost
/r/PurplePillDebate07/03/26 11:14 AM

If your self-description is accurate then you are obviously not socially stunted. Hope you feel better about yourself now
/r/PurplePillDebate07/03/26 12:56 AM

Kinda sad that the implication is that this isn't standard/baseline... Why would I ever marry or even be in a relationship with someone who doesn't care about my music taste or favourite snacks 🫤
/r/PurplePillDebate06/03/26 02:30 PM
3

The complaint from men is often women are inconsistent in what they want. Dunno I think the most common complain is that women's advice ist just unhelpful and straight wrong. Wdym 'inconsistent', can you give an example?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/03/26 12:01 PM
2

Men do not claim they reject women's opinions due to in group bias though. In the context of dating&relationship advice (which I believe the post is about?) surely they do. Maybe not directly, but it's what it boils down.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/03/26 11:53 AM
4

Secondly, men are more likely to utter uncomfortable, brutal truths that are ultimately beneficial and helpful, disregarding others feelings and social expectations. Women more often avoid that.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/03/26 11:44 AM
22

Yeah man I don't think the top tier high iq men are the ones making red pill dating advice posts on reddit
/r/PurplePillDebate06/03/26 11:42 AM
8

Men have lower in-group bias and solidarity. If you ask a woman (as a man) she will give you advice that benefits the woma(e)n in whatever scenario you are asking advice about. A man will be more likely to give advice that actually aims to benefit the advice-seeker, regardless of the genders involved.

Amongst other things, yeah. The internet isn't niche anymore, regular people spend lots of time on it. E.g. Instagram and Tiktok are full of black pill(-adjacant) reels and content, you don't need to dig deep to find it. Clavicular has gotten super popular. Black pill-slang becomes more and more mainstream, especially with the youth. "maxxing" "mogging" "chad" etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/26 10:12 PM

NO I want STACY I only want to be desired by certain females not all and certainly not you How did you get this idea?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/26 09:54 PM

Black pill will probably continue in it's current form and continue to have no meaningful impact. Black pill is thriving rn

/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/26 12:55 PM

Well it's a popular topic of disagreement here. Both men and women accuse the other side of being biased. You'd have to somehow check if the amount of bad men that women date is proportional to the amount of bad men that exist in general society. "Bad" is subjective, so idk if a useful study on the topic (can) exist.

Imagine some guy, mid-20s, virgin, no romantic experience whatsoever. He's not a hateful incel and neither is he ugly (let's say 6/10), he's just kinda shy and unlucky. Ultimately he desires a long-term relationship with some woman whom he desires strongly and has high standards for. However, his inexperience at his age increasingly affects his self-esteem to the point he is really intimidated by women. He struggles to flirt and feels inadequate, as many older virgins do. Now let's say he has tw…

This is the only good answer here so far and I agree. A lot of it just comes down to skill issue. I know from personal experience, I fumbled some otherwise very promiscuous women and it took a toll on my self-esteem until I discovered TRP/Pick Up and realized that my flirting skills really suck and that I missed many obvious IOIs. It's not that those girls found me ugly or anything. Idk to what extent this applies to OP as he seems more experienced but still it's his job as a man to drive things…

Might be a more modern trend but I noticed that in many, many more recent works of fiction the villain is beautiful and the hero rather ordinary-looking. Perhaps an attempt to be subversive but it's not really anymore. And some of these villains are absolutely irredemeemable too. But also, interestingy, it's usually just the main villain that's beautiful and their underlings are really ugly. And speaking of anime, there are several that come to mind where the main villain is so attractive to the…
/r/PurplePillDebate27/02/26 10:57 AM

Most women don’t seem to “flirt” on purpose, but instead behave a certain way when they’re turned on. Yeah I've always felt like flirting and the whole 'mating dance' for women is intuitive, automatic behaviour while for a majority of men it's learned behaviour.

Does anyone else have physical traits (on their own body) that they really disliked when they were young but grown to like when they got older? Personally, I have dark blonde/light brown curly hair which I really disliked as a teenager, I wanted to have straight, dark hair like my best friend because I thought it looked cool and emo lol. As I got older I started appreciating my hair a lot, I think it looks kinda royal and majestic look like some ancient greek king and I let it grow out more.

It's hated behaviour AND it's good advice. I can rationally put myself in the shoes of a woman and give advice that helps her achieve her dating objective. I'd also dislike it if women I encounter/am interested in employ this advice and "use it against me". There is no silver bullet. Male and female dating strategies are fundamentally at odds.

Funny story, at the school I went to there was this tradition (organized by some club) that you could buy/order a rose with a card for another student which would then be delivered to them on Valentine's day DURING CLASS. It was kinda a big deal because ofc everybody secretly hoped to receive one from their crush but it rarely ever happened that a boy got a rose and it was mostly just girls sending friendship roses to each other. /r/PurplePillDebate14/02/26 12:30 AM

Sociopaths lack feelings of empathy, guilt, pity, remorse or anything that would prevent a normal person from exploiting another human like that. The logic "but he consented to it though" is correct, but not having any emotional blockers about it does strike me as quite sociopathic. It's a tough topic. I consider myself libertarian-leaning, I think people think should be able to freely make their own choices in the free market and I wouldn't want governments to ban drugs, unhealthy food, gamblin…
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/26 12:20 AM

Also the effects that romantic love/having a crush and some drugs have on the brain are not dissimilar
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/26 11:42 PM

There's nothing ambigious about a woman not fucking you Every case of fucking that ever happened, happened due to a stage transition from 'not fucking' -> 'fucking'. In the vast majority of cases due to men's initiative/action, not the woman's. So no, I'd say it can be quite ambiguous.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/26 10:53 PM

No I believe even if you're handsome as a man you don't receive female attention unless you seek it out. Uninstall dating apps, don't post selfies on social media, don't go clubbing, just life your live without attention seeking and you should be "safe".

Young, pretty, not fat. I honestly don't think I have a rigid type (other than what is conventionally attractive). I might slightly gravitate towards girls with rounder faces and/or shorter hair. Also, darker hair. Don't care about eye colour though.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/26 04:43 PM

The idea is that only Chad's behaviour is even worth complaining about. If he wasn't Chad she'd just leave him because she has enough options. But because it's Chad she'd be more inclined to tolerate his bad behaviour to some extent.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/26 03:33 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/26 08:32 PM

But on a serious note I'm curious myself about this, I feel low-key inclined to make a fake female profile to swipe and see how long it takes to find my own profile for instance
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/26 08:14 PM

Don't worry, "socially awkward introvert chad" is probabaly just another flavour of chad that you will probably encounter when swiping, no need to get past all of them. It will be next to the "dark-haired, tattooed bad-boy chad with a bike" and the "blonde medicine student with a nice smile-good guy chad" No escaping the chads😇
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/26 08:12 PM

People be like "women are super picky when they swipe on dating apps, they are swiping left on average guys and only giving chads a chance!" Nope, it's even worse than that actually. Dating app matchmaking works like a competitive video game with a rank and elo attached to your account. The higher your score the better and the higher you are on the "stack" of male profiles that is similar for ALL WOMEN. It's a "winner takes it all"-market. When you create a profile the matchmaking will determine…

Real. I have a strong aversion to lying personally, it strikes me as quite unfair and immoral. People trying to justify it "it doesn't matter" "but I benefit from it" really irk me.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/26 11:34 PM

Makes sense honestly. But I wonder why younger people tend to more narcissistic.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/26 01:06 PM

Uhh I think you're going a bit overboard with your male supremacy rhetoric. Are really all women in your life incompetent? And besides that, the biggest factors for success are probably rich/well-connected parents and luck
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/26 01:03 PM

Lame old-school misogyny: "Women should do the cooking, it's all they're good for" More sensible take: "Cooking is too important to be delegated to a woman"

The great irony is that while men desire sex more, women are actually the ones who are more likely to fall in love from to it. And while women desire emotional intimacy more, men are more likely to actually fall in love from it. The unrequited feelings result in "casual situationships" for women and "the friendzone" for men.

"I know this date didn't go so well and chemistry was lacking but pls pls pls give me another chance, I'll do anything and even pay for your food!" - how I imagine mfs who pay on the first date in the 21st century If she likes you, she likes she likes. Paying won't make a difference and only makes you look beta. Know your worth kings😤

This morning I kept laying in bed for 5 hours after waking up cause I just felt so weak. The worst thing for me rn is the headache, my head feels like it weights a ton and every movement hurts. Thankfully it's a bit better now though
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/26 06:11 PM

Worse than the sore throat is the headache rn. My head feels like it weights a ton. Can't even use my free time to study or read, can't even enjoy gaming. My cognitive capacy rn limits me to doomscrolling on insta. My room is hot af and I still feel cold constantly. I haven't eaten in like a day, I feel no appetite and my sense of taste disappeared anyway. It's a pitiful existence.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/26 05:57 PM

My body adapts to things well but if something gets past my immune system I get sick BAD. Whenever I get sick I'm down for like a week or two. Its awful haha. Yeah same 😬
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/26 05:51 PM

You never think to appreciate how great being healthy is until you're sick. So as someone who just caught a heavy cold I'll remind you to appreciate that you're healthy RIGHT NOW!

Feels like you have a new guy every day lol
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/26 08:06 PM

Completely self-inflicted since women almost exclusively communicate their interest through subtle hints under the veil of plausible deniability. Fair enough, you don't want to be direct, but the consequence will be a lot of men putting their bets on false positives ¯_(ツ)_/¯

It's not logical, more like a gut feeling.

They have great social and conversational skills which really helps my socially awkward ass out sometimes. They are empathetic (excluding anything involving male dating issues). They are good with/to animals. They have a good sense for aesthetics.

Being completely honest, yes. And I think that's the case for many "manosphere-adjacent" men though they don't want to admit it. And I do think this perception might be reinforced due to porn or the language surrounding it that OP gave examples of. This is a legitimate "issue" and I'll grant blue pillers this point. Two caveats to this though 1 - I wouldn't view it as bad/degrading if I'm the one doing it to a woman. Only if it's other men. I see their sexuality as predatory but not my own if th…

Not really polygamy (cause when being 'in love' you truly only desire this one person), more like serial monogamy

/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/26 12:48 AM

That women can't possibly travel for their own enjoyment and exploration. Nah they can definitely, but there's a correlation. 1 - Women fear social judgement for their promiscuousness. It's an observed phenomenon that women are way more promiscuous when outside of their usual social sphere where they are recognized. So travelling is ideal for that. 2 - I'd conjecture the personality trait of openness to new experiences is often consistent across domains. If you enjoy novel sensory experiences li…

Not OP but this recent comment stuck in my mind: https://www.np.reddit.com/r/PurplePillDebate/s/uVcP5v1IAm She over-intellectualized the situation so much when it's really not that deep imo and nobody wanted to assign moral fault like she interpreted

A lot of ppl in "face rating communities" use distributions that are incredibly narrow around the mean; you'd have to be like top 10% to even be considered a 6 by them. (Not endorsing that, just explaining) There is also the difference between male and female gaze. Someone here mentioned Margot Robbie in a comment, she's a prime example of what women find pretty with her incredibly defined bone structure that makes her look like a model . Men, however, often prefer faces with higher facial fat (…
/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/26 11:51 PM

We really have blues/purples here saying, "lesbians just know other women better than straight men do, that's why they do better, straight men need to level up." 🤓 Kinda off-topic but has there ever been a "dating app experiment" where a woman operates the dating profile of an average man and attempts to rizz up other women and try to set up dates with them to prove this point? I'd be interested in seeing that.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/26 11:36 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/26 08:49 PM

What a powerful ragebait, he got a huge paragraph out of her
/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/26 07:22 PM

Just don't talk to her about your dating intentions, although that could be lie by omission ig. From what I hear from successful men, the early stages of dating are supposed to be low-key and casual and vibes-based anyway.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/26 07:19 PM

Just tell them wtf
/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/26 07:13 PM

Probably even longer ever since I'm not a teenager anymore. Developed a crush on a schoomate when I was 16, it lasted for 2 years, after that I didn't care about any girls until I was 23/24. I just don't meet that many new people and if I do nothing happens.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/26 07:13 PM

No, no, every three years or so

I think the correct term would be 'asocial'
/r/PurplePillDebate22/01/26 10:38 PM

This might be part of why women are so extraordinarily afraid of being rejected. When they get rejected they might feel like they got rejected for the core essence of who they are which is really painful. Meanwhile as a guy you can always just tell yourself "Oh well my game and status weren't on point, just gotta improve and try again".
/r/PurplePillDebate22/01/26 02:33 PM

Perceived vibe/chemistry (general social skills in man-woman mating ritual interactions = game basically) Contextual social status Physical appearance (which height is maybe 30% of why tf are you all so obsessed with height smh) Maybe switch 2 and 3 idk
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/26 10:15 PM

Dunno but honestly probably not that much, I would likely feel pressurized to give insightful/validating responses lol
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/26 10:10 PM

Not that I have such pictures but I would never. Trashy af.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/26 08:52 PM

I remember the one time a girl looked at me like that. Still fumbled it of course but expression in her eyes will forever be etched into my memory.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/26 08:51 PM

Oh you were refering to that. Well I meant looks-wise. Just average face and body. Skin-quality, facial harmony, well-shaped features, waist-to-hip-ratio etc. Don't want to get too much into the nitty-gritty but you get the point
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/26 08:46 PM

I want to experience sex at least once in my life so option 2 ig

Off-topic but I man do I hate those mullet+mustache guys. They steal all the alt baddies (but I have too much pride to become like them)
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/26 05:45 PM

Nah that's just called having a crush. I've felt this way about girls who were objectively a 5 at best but I just happened to like them

Same. I sometimes (well small sample size admittedly) spend time in public with girls who one could reasonably assume could be my girlfriend and I never noticed an uptick of attention from women ever. Never noticed anything with coupled friends or anything either.

I've been thinking about something similar recently, it reminds me a bit of the old "if she's wearing slutty clothing, she's basically asking to be harassed by men". I think it's a matter of language being too imprecise to deal with the scope of what we're discussing which leads to frustration. Like imagine I'm traveling to another country with a friend and we knowingly visit a city with high rate of crime and we (knowingly) walk late at night in the shadiest neighbourhood there is while looking…
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/26 10:00 PM

Yes. In the lower or higher single digits, depending on how liberate the definition of 'friend' is. Sometimes. I wish we traveled more often together and I strive to be more of an initiator when it comes to this.
