People dislike The Red Pill(tm) because it has been overtaken by whiners/larpers/incels/influencers who don’t follow the core concepts. Many women talk incredibly favorably about NMMNG for example. True embodiment of the red pill is a win-win for both sexes. Your last paragraph is a perfect example of this for once in your life you had passionate sex.
/r/MarriedRedPill31/07/25 12:31 PM

I tend to go agree but in the opposite. Red Pill guys who probably look like a sack of potatoes.

Fundamentally it’s the answer to every complaint though.

This could the response to a lot of things n here.

I guess I very much come from the old school RP where there was much more internal locus on control than it seems with a lot of posts I read nowadays. A lot more guys seemed to get their lives in order when lifting, stfu, and getting their careers in order were the main focus. Although that didn’t lead to a lot of books and YouTube engagement. (That’s a different discussion) I very much wonder how different things would be for you if that would’ve been your sole focus for the last 4 years.
/r/MarriedRedPill29/07/25 02:46 PM

I find it very odd how much red pill downplays the mainstream information on physical attractiveness. I’m currently going through my prep work on the upcoming school year and under interpersonal relationships physical attractiveness impact is featured significantly.

Your last paragraph is quite puzzling to me. You are on your 33rd OYS your wife still seems like a mess and you write 3 lengthy paragraphs dedicated to her. Your wins are that she didn’t break out histrionics. Your self worth issues are not tied to achievements your self-worth seems to be tied completely wrapped up with everything to do with your wife. Has it ever crossed your mind to focus all this energy into productive achievements. Not a criticism a legitimate question.

Why do thousands of men list the gym?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/25 12:42 PM

You need reps
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/25 12:41 PM

Many men try to get better but they get their information in all wrong places. This further exacerbates the problem. I’m very average I had very good success dating and most of it was learned from a social psychology textbook.

I think it’s perfectly fine for it to exist.

The app is quite funny to me because the people most upset by it are those who never need to worry about it.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/25 07:54 PM

Hmm I’m very blue pilled by object if seated research to me is incredibly important. There is very few things as fulfilling in a relationship as it. Emotional connection enhances this passion of course.

Most male profiles suck.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/25 05:20 PM

Research shows the two biggest complaints by males in relationships are too much arguing and not enough sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/25 03:08 PM

This is patently false you can open a social psychology textbook and much of the research that would help men is done by women.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/25 03:06 PM

Matters for the quality of the relationship? You just picked two guys who are known to have terrible relationships and were only married because of money.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/25 02:02 PM

Physical attractiveness matters far more and is far more satisfying.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/25 01:56 PM
3

It’s because of the matching hypothesis. Yes physical attractiveness matters a great deal. Every social psych textbook will tell you this. The matching hypothesis though shows us why not only hot people are in relationships.

Where is the data that shows this?

Women do not have higher suicide rates.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/25 03:52 PM

Yes big 5 are very predictive. One of the few good metrics in social sciences.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/25 01:26 PM

If they had personality they would have needed to turn to red pill nonsense.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/25 01:25 PM

They are just less predictive “rewording” of the big 5 personality traits.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/25 01:23 PM

The only thing I feel bad for them is they get a ton of false information as to actually how to succeed. I wouldn’t even give a shit about the red pill if it gave actually good information. So many here cite stuff that isn’t even true and it’s just going to make them struggle more.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/25 01:18 PM

These guys aren’t actually in relationships or seeking a partner. Any guy who is will always tell the educated working women is much more desirable. Even among extremely wealthy couples the wife may not work but is still educated and is involved with a lot outside of the home .
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/25 12:56 PM

Do realize the type of guy who posts these things is not the type of guy actually seeking a relationship. It’s just revenge fantasy.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/25 12:51 PM

The revealed preference data actually shows men do like women who work and are educated.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/25 12:49 PM

Funnily enough revealed preferences studies show men actually do care about a women’s job. Having dual incomes is such a cheat code in life.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/25 12:48 PM

Highly educated women have the lowest divorce rates and highest levels of relationship satisfaction. At my job pretty much everyone is married to their educated equal. Meanwhile in the area I grew up in it’s an absolute shit show.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/25 12:44 PM

In a strange way women should actually be thankful that guys are getting tips from red pill and not from guys who actually know what they are doing with regards to manipulation.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/25 07:50 PM

Sounds good in theory there are a lot of creeps out there. The issue though is simply complaints become red flags.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/25 06:33 PM

If these guys ever get dates they will be shocked at how much nonsense they believed was not true. This place is interesting because it feels like a completely different world.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/25 12:34 PM

Do you treat all women the same lol? None of you ever look at it from the other perspective. Because you’ve never experienced it. I know you’re all “red pill Chad alphas” on here but I’ve definitely given more leeway to more attractive women.

Did you actually read the second study. I’m very familiar with it. Number 1 in revealed preferences is good lover. Loyal is second, Supportive is 3rd, smells good is 4, honest is 5. None of these are looks based. It’s actually an incredibly blue pilled research paper lol.

Personality is not vague at all. When talked about in a scientific it is referring to the big 5 traits which are among the most replicated predictors in all of social science.

You’ve been in a 3 year LTR with a woman who barely wants to be with you? You should’ve cut bait long ago and been moving on to other women who want to be with you. You’ve wasted a significant amount of time for what?

“Who needs men when women are so mean to each other.” I think you’re vastly underestimating how accomplished she is in her own right. There was a great study that came out recently which revealed preference data showed men particularly successful men do actually care about intelligence and career prospects. I work in a pretty HNW industry and pretty much everyone’s partner is very accomplished in their own right.

Confidence was always about competency. Somewhere in the late 90’s/00’s the self-esteem movement completely bastardized this idea. The vast majority of guys who struggle here know deep down they are bullshitting themselves with their “frames.” The incongruence makes them worse off in many ways than when they started. “Frame” should be effortless because of the work/competency you put in to get there. People often get it backwards they often try to emulate the frame without having the behaviors t…

There’s two types ways you can interpret this. You are given the answers to the test optimize for the test. Too many guys who they themselves are obsessed with looks get pissy about it and do nothing. Honestly this is what red pill was like initially there was very little discourse about women. Completely changed nowadays.

Great post I don’t know why this is so hard for people to understand. You can ever go to the many subreddits revolving around hormone use and people will talk about the dramatics differences on an individual level.

This is always a tell to me that a man doesn’t have much experience with women if you don’t think they have to put in a ton of effort. The stereotyping of the man waiting for his gf/wife getting ready is there for a reason.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/25 04:26 PM

You complaining that dating isn’t “fair” is entitlement. My success is dating was because of humility. I worked on stuff that needed to be improved. You sit and whine women have it easier and do nothing about your situation.

“Dorks” can be pro-social.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/25 06:38 PM

That people hurt themselves does not make it harmful for everyone. Think of how silly this is extrapolated. You’d live in bubble.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/25 03:44 PM

Lifting weights is not harmful for younger ages that is 1990s fear mongering that was never proven

No lol
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/25 03:18 PM

This is always one of the silliest things in the world. My friends and I were hitting the gym in middle school because we were able to realize what mattered in dating. You’d have to be one the dumbest human beings ever if you think just being nice gets you a girlfriend. I will say pro-social traits help immensely and most incels don’t even have that.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/25 03:04 PM

People are quite delusional about their own “rating” within the dating market.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/25 01:11 PM

Both statements are factually true. Female intelligence is more constrained than male intelligence. Women have higher levels of conscientiousness.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/25 01:02 PM
2

Yes it’s largely true. You are kind of seeing a modern revival of this through dating apps. There was certainly an inefficiency in the market with the desirable male and attractive women. They can find each other more easily now. The UK had an issue in their sperm banks where women only wanted tall danish men.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/25 12:29 PM

Paradox of all dating really the more successful you are the less effort you need to put in. It’s why most arguments on forums like these are between the unsuccessful of both genders. It’s also why the most successful techniques in dating aren’t really techniques at all but more natural behaviors derived from abundance.

No lol
/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/25 01:18 PM

There’s actually quite an interesting study that only low status males sexual satisfaction is tied to partner orgasm. Paradoxically I had way more “call backs” when I was more selfish in the bedroom. It’s always logically been a hard thing to grapple with.

It is very popular among women who have not experienced trauma. This mindset is actually very debilitating to women who enjoy this because it makes them feel bad for their preferences. This is very little statistical correlation to trauma and having a preference for this. It is a harmful stereotype to both women have experienced trauma and those who haven’t and enjoy this.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/25 01:34 PM

Extraversion and neuroticism have larger effect sizes on getting a romantic partner than physical attractive.

You spend most of your time in relationships like this because you aren’t confident that you will be able to find someone. This actually is pretty rational because it’s may be very well true. Most of the OYS simply come down to this truth. Guys to try to mimic behaviors of successful guys instead of simply becoming the successful guy. It leads to a lot of anger and cognitive dissonance.

How can I loathe myself and have a big ego (classical definition of ego)? Seems incongruent. The ego is the fictional version of who you think you should be the loathing is the actual reality of the situation.

People who have child at younger ages have higher impulsiveness. Impulsivity is highly heritable. It’s why there is very little correlation in twin studies with adoptive families compared to the twins who grow up in separate environments. We see this in criminality as-well.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/25 02:20 PM

The problem with these solutions is that they are downstream effects and not causes. It’s very similar with “be confident” advice. They should be pursued though for general well being.

Because you are never going to change their mind and it has 0 effect on your dating life. It’s the equivalent of arguing with a flat earther. The successful women doesn’t even register losers let alone debate them.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/25 01:16 PM

Everything in dating is preference. Those with success in dating don’t get very emotional about. The only people who care about these things are those with very little options. It’s not even worth discussing it with them because they aren’t coming from a point of rationality it’s all emotional anger based. Lastly no none can tell you who to date so I don’t really understand the ranting and raving about.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/25 01:06 PM

It’s incredibly rare.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/25 01:12 PM

The reason is persuasion/manipulation. Negativity bias enhances engagement.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/03/25 01:09 PM

It’s not really a power for women though unless it works on guys they are attracted to.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/25 01:01 PM

You’d be surprised. I used to get complimented for being confident when I’d be petrified internally.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/25 02:09 PM

It's more about adopting outward behaviors of confidence. You can be internally not confident but still project confidence.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/25 01:57 PM

It’s precisely why the numbers game mentality is so valuable.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/25 01:42 PM

They don’t put in a lot of external effort. Red pill is mostly mental masturbation. It’s also LARPing by those trying to grift.

This why even though PUA stuff was cringe guys actually got success out of it. Not because of any of the material but simply getting guys out there and approaching.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/25 01:36 PM

Very spot on about naturally being in the same place and talking made sense. This is very hard concept to explain to younger crowds.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/25 04:35 PM

IRL approaching was really never a thing. At least not as much as younger generations think it was. It was much more organic. The single biggest issue is that younger people have way more distractions nowadays. There’s so much friction from keeping people from hanging out. We hung out because there was nothing better to do. You ended up meeting people through sheer proximity. I basically only ate and slept at my apartment because it was incredibly boring. I would meet more women in a week than m…

Because I know single guys. Genetics are almost never the limiting factor for 99% of guys. Your post is about getting a date not marrying a 10/10 supermodel.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/25 03:03 PM

It’s foreign to me because of how little effort it takes to separate yourself from the chaff. Most guys are putting in very little effort.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/25 02:56 PM

Some of you fail to realize dating is choice based and not a hostage situation.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/25 03:44 PM

This is a bit ironic coming from someone who is “biology pilled”
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/25 03:32 PM

Ask women over 30 is more red pill than red pill subs lol
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/25 03:15 PM

It may be the reason you’re not attracting the guys you are actually interested in. I see this all time on various female subreddits.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/25 01:16 PM

Working your ass off for a company so they can eventually maybe or maybe not make you CEO after you have already done all the work isn’t ambition. It’s being a good little worker bee. There’s a reason you still are pretty much at square one from your first OYS. Some guys never figure it out. They do everything but the things that actually matter.
/r/MarriedRedPill13/02/25 09:12 PM

Agree that there is a genetic component, but one must fix the things that they can fix before we start talking about genetics. Most guys haven’t even hit the low hanging fruit.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/25 03:37 PM

Mildly amused and then get on with my life.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/25 03:31 PM

My issue is why don’t guys do everything in their power then to max it.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/25 03:30 PM
1

What if you are focusing on the wrong actions? You’ve busted your ass for a company that may or may not make you CEO. You’ve tied up all your worth into what is a meaningless position in the grand scheme of things. What happens if you don’t get it? Research shows people make more on external job searching than internal promotions. You are seeking validation from the title. We also know the initial happiness boost of a promotion fades quickly. You keep harping on internal narratives when they are…
/r/MarriedRedPill13/02/25 03:11 PM
1

IMO internal narratives do not matter anywhere close to real world feedback. People love “inner game” stuff because it feels like an easy fix. Real world feedback is much more difficult to work on. Look at how many guys are on their 37th OYS post have read 457 RP books and causally mention they are still in shit shape or have taken very little action.

If people focused on things with the highest effect sizes with regards to physical attractiveness a lot of problems would be solved. Upper body musculature cues are the number 1 thing for men and yet I know so many single guys who don’t even check this off.

They are more likely to get into relationships in the first place.

You have serious confirmation bias. You’ve never heard a woman fawn over a guy on anything other than height? Upper body musculature cues have the highest effect size.

It’s human nature not a quality. They should put in more effort then and not just assume it’s going to happen just because they exist. The average western women puts in ~30 minutes more per day on physical attractiveness based activities than men.

/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/25 06:27 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/25 06:19 PM

I had more sympathy I saw how glaringly obvious most guys problems were.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/01/25 01:59 PM

it’s been completely disregarded for blackpill/Andrew Tate nonsense
/r/PurplePillDebate28/01/25 07:49 PM

It’s still something I have never heard been answered coherently. Early red pill used to be women like fit guys with good careers. Do those things. It was about dealing with reality never changing preferences.

The gender war is idiotic because people want to police other’s preferences. Even if women only cared 100% about looks who gives a shit.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/01/25 07:10 PM

Research shows the most and least successful men treat women the worst. Humans learn through imitation. Who do you think guys want to be? Guys who struggle are going to emulate the most successful.

Upper body musculature has the highest effect size on mane physical attractiveness this has been researched and replicated extensively.

Beards yes muscles no. Although men focus on the wrong muscles.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/25 09:39 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/25 06:41 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/25 06:39 PM

Somewhat I basically rarely matched with a blonde on the dating apps. Very attractive brunettes who were out my league I got matched with like crazy, but rarely if ever a moderately attractive blondes.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/25 01:38 PM

Research shows men with the most and least success with women have the most negative attitudes towards them. It’s guys in the middle who you are describing.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/25 01:27 PM

This is maybe the single worst take I have seen in PPD history.

/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/25 06:16 PM

Here’s what happens. Red Pill sucks guys in because it persuades them in with a 5% truth that it not talked about in society probably enough due to social desirability bias. Because of this they get hooked and start believing 95% of all the other nonsense associated with these spaces. We also much more real world feedback in the form of dating apps that is illuminating for a lot of guys to say the least.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/25 05:03 PM

Most men are only going to be having sex regularly within a relationship. The religious couple who gets married young has sex more frequently than even the mythical Chad.

I doubt that would impress anyone at 5’10 179.
/r/MarriedRedPill26/01/25 01:38 PM

Height has very little relative effect size compared to other factors of physical attractiveness. Also beard is vague some guys have hideous gross beards.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/25 07:34 PM

If that were true you could easily made me look like a fool? Why wouldn’t you have just done that then? It would’ve taken you like 2 seconds to prove me wrong? It’s probably because you don’t understand what a citation and don’t have the intellectual bandwidth to actually use an academic journal. This was apparent when you said research was wrong because it was old and then offered no counter points. Yes female physical attraction has randomly changed over the last 20 years even though we have 6…
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/25 06:58 PM

Lolol you are this dumb. You don’t need links when someone gives you the citation. I’m dying laughing right now. Citations are preferred over links.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/25 06:46 PM

Ok show where they are from? Surely you aren’t this dumb? The citations are literally right there? I literally gave you the citations of the studies. You have to be trolling nobody can be this dumb.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/25 06:41 PM
4

So you are so dumb you don’t even know how to read a research paper. I’ve literally given you the citations. The Langois study has 919 papers in its meta-analysis. You have provided not a subtle academic source other than “I think things have changed” Simply debunk me then with a recent study? This should be very easy for you?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/25 06:36 PM
3

It’s up to you to show the burden of proof things have changed in the last 20-25 years in the face of high quality research. Plenty of things have held in research much further back than this. Look you tried to dunk on someone got called out and now are tripling down.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/25 06:31 PM
4

Langlois et al. (2000): A meta-analysis of 919 studies found high cross-cultural agreement in attractiveness ratings. Features like facial symmetry, averageness, and sexual dimorphism were universally preferred. Cunningham et al. (1995): Found cross-cultural agreement on the attractiveness of certain facial traits (e.g., large eyes, high cheekbones) in U.S., Asian, and Hispanic populations. Yes “research.” If you’re going to try and dunk on some run I’d suggest you actually know what you’re talk…
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/25 06:28 PM

It doesn’t matter what women say. Research shows there is very little disagreement on who is considered attractive even cross culturally.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/25 06:15 PM
16

Because you are straight up lying? Those people are older
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/25 06:12 PM

No they aren’t. I literally just told young liberal men are much more single than their conservative counterparts.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/25 06:10 PM

Maturity has nothing to do with age. There are plenty of women in their 30s+ who still act like they are in high school. Intelligence is a far better barometer. I work in a very intellectually demanding career junior female hires are much more mature than women older in less demanding careers.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/25 06:09 PM

By the definition of you post “mainstream stuff” is conservative because conservative men and women are most likely in relationships. Quite funny how you miss the plot in many of your posts.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/25 06:05 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/25 02:57 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/25 02:23 PM

Good timing is often mitigated by looks though. Years ago I read the dumbest book ever in the hey day of PUA but it ended up being the book that brought me the most success because it focused on looks so heavily. This was extremely rare back then. Women being genuinely attracted to you is a far better and more satisfying approach than spam approaching a ton of women.

Ah yes when Redditors lose the argument they report to the “you’re angry!” rhetoric. I’m perfectly calm I’m just calling out idiocy when I see it. “A good lover” was the number one thing under revealed preferences that predicted relationship satisfaction in one of the largest studies ever done on the topic.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/01/25 01:49 PM

Most normal women want to know if they have sexual chemistry so they can move on or not. You like incels act like dating is adversarial.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/01/25 01:41 PM
4

No woman is withholding sex with any guy. This is femcel fan fiction. A woman doesn’t want to waste her time with a guy with bad sexual chemistry. It’s for her as well as him. Most normal folks are not playing these games in relationships and are simply to find people they are compatible with. This is like the female equivalent of an incel post.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/01/25 01:35 PM

Body odor. One of the most attractive women I’ve ever dated I had to break it off because of this.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/01/25 01:33 PM

And yet plenty of average and below average men are in relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/25 03:29 PM

The funny thing about incels is that if you lined up 100 random guys lookswise a vast majority of them wouldn’t even stick out that much. It’s their external locus of control is so insidious that they self-handicap themselves to have no chance.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/25 03:04 PM

You are trying to override biological desire here. It almost always ends miserably. Revealed preferences are revealed preferences trying to fight them is going to be an uphill battle.

They are probably not that below average if they are getting to the bedroom. Which is why they don’t have to try as much. There’s a study that showed men with the highest sexual satisfaction had 0 correlation with partner induced orgasm. It did matter with men with low testosterone.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/01/25 05:27 PM

Why would a woman give a shit if she is putting pressure on men if she has plenty of suitors. Play the game or don’t but stop trying to act like you can influence the rules. I can guarantee you if some of you where in the other position you would be playing the same game
/r/PurplePillDebate11/01/25 05:04 PM

I don’t really know what your rant is about I was just pointing out a common fact.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/01/25 02:34 PM

Raw attraction affects personality as well. Honestly it boggles my mind all the discourse back and forth. Just be hot.

It was always there. PUA was popular not because of actual success of the methods but because of the communities. The one good thing PUA did which is lacking now is getting guys out there. I remember a hilarious story of a guy who went to a boot camp and he said a 1/3rd of the guys were having more success than the guy giving the camp.
/r/seduction06/01/25 05:16 PM

It’s more a new school feminism thing. I actually respect old-school feminists because they had much more of a locus of control. A lot of old school types find the new school types pathetic.

I would agree with that and put it under chemistry. The way this sub talks about it is odd.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/01/25 08:59 PM
3

Yes but I’d rather just date the women who is an amazing cook.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/01/25 08:58 PM
4

Why would I want to waste my time and make it good when there are plenty of people who are already amazing?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/01/25 08:52 PM
3

Why is it crazy? Life is way too short for bad sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/01/25 08:49 PM
-1

Yes I’m the one who made it personal lol
/r/PurplePillDebate04/01/25 08:49 PM

I guess all the bad sex you’re angry does explain the tone of your posts. Best of luck!
/r/PurplePillDebate04/01/25 08:46 PM
3

I do now because the person I married we have amazing chemistry. So yes I did it expect it was a big deal for me. Bad sex with someone was the quickest move on for me.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/01/25 08:42 PM
2

Why is dumb to expect the other person to be good in the bedroom?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/01/25 08:38 PM
5

I don’t know why you think it’s uncommon two people can have great sexual chemistry without tons of communication. Sorry you have not experienced this yet I guess.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/01/25 08:33 PM
0

Or simply choose a partner who you have good sex with off the bat. Why are you having a lot of bad sex?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/01/25 08:32 PM
4

Communication is probably the most overrated term in all relationship advice. You either have sexual chemistry or not.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/01/25 07:23 PM
4

Horrible idea. Bad sexual chemistry is deal breaker.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/01/25 07:21 PM
5

No why would I want to be with someone who doesn’t want to be with me?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/01/25 03:12 PM
2

There’s interplay but people often overestimate how much and don’t even know what they are talking about with regard to environments. Most of the environmental things that matter are non-shared environmental factors and not the things people often ascribe to environments.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/01/25 03:11 PM
5

Socialization narratives are vastly overrated. I have a background in behavioral genetics and it seems like every year a new robust study comes out in the field that widens the grap between nature and nurture even further. I’m still honestly quite shocked how much the layman believes in nurture.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/01/25 02:58 PM
13

I have to admit some of the incel talking points are tired but there is a hilarious post in the ask women over 30 sub about height that is hilarious. Multiple women talking about how much they don’t care about height but also how they married tall guys.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/01/25 11:31 PM

I did a self experiment on this and it was almost hilarious how much better the “bad boy” persona worked.
/r/seduction03/01/25 09:44 PM

That’s not what the revealed preferences are based on.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/01/25 08:06 PM
1

The study clearly points out why that isn’t an issue.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/01/25 07:09 PM
1

I specifically stated physical traits are undervalued. You are also making claims that study addresses.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/01/25 07:09 PM
1

Why would they talk about the halo effect.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/01/25 06:53 PM
1

https://www.researchgate.net/publication/382253515_A_Worldwide_Test_of_the_Predictive_Validity_of_Ideal_Partner_Preference-Matching Table 5 has all the stated vs revealed preference ranking differences.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/01/25 06:30 PM
3

The largest study ever done on revealed vs. stated preferences has quite a few personality traits on it within revealed preferences. Granted the list does shows the physical traits are indeed undervalued in stated preferences. I wouldn’t say personality doesn’t matter particularly negative ones.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/01/25 06:28 PM
21

I think you’re vastly underestimating how quickly you can broach the subject. Sure there is a bit of decorum but you don’t have to lie and manipulate as much as you think. Women enjoy sex too and they appreciate honesty.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/25 01:16 PM
1

Financially secure is 25/35 for women in revealed preferences. That is significantly lower than most men think.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/25 11:38 PM
1

Yea finances are extremely overrated by men as preference for women.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/25 11:19 PM
1

Oh I know it’s just fun to expose people on here with actually research.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/25 07:43 PM
1

You are worse than a troll you pretend to be something you’re not. If you simply admitting being a troll that would be much better.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/25 07:42 PM
1

If you cared about scientific rigor you would simply list out your criticisms you had. You fail again and again to even articulate a single valid criticism. Scientific rigor is not denigrating work of academics and then not even acknowledging a single criticism you have. Do not pretend to be something you are not.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/25 07:41 PM
1

You were presented with a scientific source in another post. Said it was not a high quality source. Asked to articulate your criticisms and you could even come with a single one. Please do not act like you care about scientific rigor.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/25 07:19 PM
2

I’m not sure what you mean by that
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/25 07:17 PM
3

No you were just looking for and out because you didn’t actually have any criticisms of the paper and didn’t expect to get called out on it. If you actually did you simply would’ve listed it right away. Non-sequiturs and ad-hominem attacks were your defense mechanisms.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/25 06:58 PM
3

No nor did I say it was??
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/25 06:51 PM
3

What are you talking about all this stuff is taught in literally every school that has a psych department this is literally social psych 101 stuff???
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/25 06:48 PM
2

They are listed in nice order in the paper. I literally gave you them. You just stated the paper is not high quality. Simply list your methodological complaints? I have a sneaking suspicious you didn’t even read nor have the intellectual bandwidth to even have a singular criticism about the paper. Your next post will probably be some variation of asking me the same question again without ever addressing any valid criticism of the you did not read.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/25 06:47 PM
4

It’s not exactly high quality research. Revealed preference research is the gold standard. Not to mention the paper you are criticizing passes replication and the researchers in question are highly respective in their fields. What are you specific complaints about the paper?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/25 06:39 PM
2

Yes I provided one of the largest studies ever done on it. Why does my opinion matter when we have high quality research on the matter. My opinion aligns with the research.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/25 06:31 PM
4

It’s not “my opinion” there are entire research subsets decidecated to this.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/25 06:30 PM
6

Things like the halo effect which is one of the most replicated findings in social sciences would not exist then. To be quite honest I don’t know what your objections are nothing I’m saying here is even remotely controversial.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/25 06:18 PM
5

Everyone is making calculations on people every moment of every single day it’s just all subconscious.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/25 06:12 PM
3

Yes but then we went down a different path and you suddenly mid way through are just ranting about red pill talking points which i have already dismissed as dumb. Why respond to my post if you are going to just rant about red pill?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/25 06:06 PM
4

Here is the largest study ever done on female revealed preferences of mates: https://www.researchgate.net/publication/382253515_A_Worldwide_Test_of_the_Predictive_Validity_of_Ideal_Partner_Preference-Matching Revealed preference (in this case, what actually predicts positive romantic evaluations)
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/25 06:01 PM
5

I don’t think it’s a bad mindset per se. The more status I had in the dating market the more options I had and they tended to be higher quality options. The red pill issue is 99% of the guys never actually do anything to improve themselves. They just whine about women. They are hypocrites.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/25 05:59 PM
3

Once again why are you parroting red pill talking points. I literally criticized them in my original post?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/25 05:55 PM
1

There’s thousands of things that go into a guys’ status.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/25 05:44 PM
4

Redeeming qualities are part of someone’s status. Take two guys with identical looks and the guys with a better personality will have more status. Why are you parroting RP/Manosphere takes to me when I have not stated any of those things.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/25 05:43 PM
1

No I clearly stated verbatim in my first post I have 0 objections with who women choose.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/25 05:37 PM
-2

It’s more status than being an adult with no job. I don’t know why this is so controversial everyone has a level of status.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/25 05:36 PM
4

There you go you just stated his status. You just proved my point.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/25 05:35 PM
-1

Social status matters to everyone. I doubt your husband is a morbidly obese unemployed asshole. He has some status in society.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/25 05:32 PM
7

This is where the red pill always lost me. Maybe because I didn’t have the self loathing most red pill guys have. I really couldn’t care less who women choose to be with. That’s kind of the beauty of choice no? The more interesting question is who they choose. Without the judgment or personal self-loathing. Granted how many of these women would choose the hot guy with high social status if presented with the opportunity to me is the more interesting question. You’re only as faithful as your choi…
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/25 05:23 PM
2

Read the study it’s not difficult.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/24 08:00 PM
3

I’m not saying anything I’m pointing out high quality research on the matter. So much so the OP in question went radio silent when I asked them to provide counter research.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/24 07:15 PM
2

In stated vs revealed preferences in relationship men are more honest. Men maybe delusional but they don’t lie.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/24 07:11 PM
3

Passport bros get in a relationship then live in 24/7 paranoia. What a life lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/24 02:51 PM
10

Not only have I read it I’ve quoted it verbatim. Research is research sorry it doesn’t confirm your anecdata. Present actual counter research. You’re clearly out of your depth here and probably aren’t used to being corrected on your silly anecdata with actual high quality research. Your next post will probably be some sort of variation of “rEAD mY pOST” because you don’t actually have the intellectual bandwidth to counter research with research.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/24 01:55 PM
8

And men might THINK they are being more honest but theyre not I almost forgot the biggest reason men aren’t more honest Multiple times in your diatribe you make the statement men aren’t more honest. That is false as research shows time and time again.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/24 01:47 PM
8

Your literal first paragraph is criticizing the notion of men being more honest. You also state later on they are not more honest. Yet research confirms that yes are men are more honest.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/24 01:43 PM
9

Women’s stated preferences do not line up with revealed preferences. One of the largest studies ever done in the field confirms this: https://www.researchgate.net/publication/382253515_A_Worldwide_Test_of_the_Predictive_Validity_of_Ideal_Partner_Preference-Matching Men’s stated vs. revealed preferences has far less variation.

The popularity of this subreddit is quite baffling. Isn’t the beauty of romantic relationships in western society that we get to choose who we want to date. Why are people so concerned with those who they deem losers of the opposite sex care about?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/12/24 03:48 PM
1

None of what you said matters. Like OP said dating is a market. You value is your value no matter what you think is fair or not.

Don’t be ugly then. Problem solved
/r/PurplePillDebate06/12/24 02:13 PM

But women say they care about looks all the time?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/24 11:37 PM

Why would I care about “subreddits say” when I have real world experience of women constantly talking about these things.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/24 11:37 PM

I’m talking about 15 years ago.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/24 10:45 PM

Women are pretty simple literally 99% of us guys don’t need to go on incel forums to learn how to date.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/24 10:45 PM
-1

One of the most baffling things I hear from guys is that women lie about their preference for looks. Even single social group or work group I’ve been women have been very open about this.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/24 10:29 PM
12

Just approach women does not mean everyone is going to reciprocate attention. Some of you are so dense that it does not shock me you all struggle with women. Some days I wonder if it’s IQ not looks.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/24 10:26 PM
-1

Woman could give two fucks if guys use an RP approach.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/24 06:11 PM
-5

None of this has any basis in reality. As someone who actually was around red pill spaces long ago less than 1% actually improve long-term. It’s why red pill spaces have declined significantly in favor of incel/blackpill spaces. It’s quite amazing how simple the formula is and how many guys still don’t follow it.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/24 05:35 PM
2

The internet has simply caused a lot of friction for other behaviors. A lot of guys my age would probably be single now if we had the same amount of friction as people have nowadays. There is also hypothetically unlimited dating options so any thing wrong with a potential partner you ghost and move on.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/24 03:32 PM

What does this have to do with the red pill.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/24 03:04 PM

I hate these creative writing exercises.

Being a virgin as a male is just a really damn good proxy the guy is going to be very weird.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/11/24 02:34 PM

This post is quite pathetic. You hate women we get it. Don’t post “debate” if it’s just going to be incel lunatic ranting.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/11/24 02:26 PM

Yea I remember very early RP was basically evo-psych for dummies and taught guys to lift and get a good job.

You can do whatever you want to do. That doesn’t mean you are immune to ridicule. Yes it’s very funny when someone has red pill in their flair and is still whining about women.

/r/PurplePillDebate23/11/24 01:51 PM

This shouldn’t be a problem though for someone with red pill in their flair though right….? Right…..? This is what I find so hilarious about RP. Why do you “Alphas(tm)” care about losers who can’t get laid. All the RP flairs spent a lot of time on this? I wonder why…?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/11/24 01:43 PM
1

If you are actually honest about the data extraversion/introversion are the true “blackpills” of romantic/sexual relations. This is much more of a doomer than looks because looks are far more malleable than psychological traits.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/24 03:57 PM

Nobody ever said to not do cardio.

/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/24 03:43 PM

The bleak future mindset is fostered by toxic social media and an external locus of control. We have a few GenZ guys who are absolutely crushing it aswell both of them told me they consume no social media “as it’s toxic” and just stay busy.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/24 02:41 PM

Complete and utter lack of ambition/competitive drive in careers, dating, and physical fitness. It’s so bad I’m convinced it’s hormonal.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/24 02:29 PM

Well I’m a guy and I agree with everything she’s saying. I used to be more sympathetic until I actually worked with GenZ guys are was astonished at their lifestyles.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/24 02:18 PM

I am a man and I agree with everything you’re saying. I used to be more sympathetic but seeing the lives of GenZ guys up close has made me lose that sympathy.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/24 02:17 PM

Some of the stuff you guys care about is insanity. The paranoia of incels is wild.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/11/24 05:08 PM

Terribly difficult no but people are lazy. Like if I had 1/10th of the stuff that is recommended to guys I would’ve never dated got married.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/11/24 05:03 PM

None her “issues” are so simple to fix that there is huge genetic component at play here. Amazes me how many people turn to various red pill places and often end up more miserable.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/24 04:57 PM
1

Your first part is so spot on. Before I got married I stumbled upon red pill which basically consisted of furthering learning how important attractiveness/status was. So it motivated you to work out more and advanced yourself. That was it and it “worked” phenomenally. I have no clue where all the women hating incel rhetoric came into play.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/24 07:03 PM
2

Most of us guys learned red pill ideas in like the 8th grade. That people think there is some grand theory is quite amusing. The most amusing part of red pill is how unattractive red pill guys are.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/24 06:46 PM
7

It isn’t “standards” it’s a very well researched phenomenon called the paradox of choice. People optimize now instead of satisficing. “Back in my day” you were limited to your social circle/community on realistic dating options so you simply made the best of it and moved on with life. Now there is essentially no friction to find a million partners more choices make decisions and regret worse. This is studied in many domains not just dating.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/24 05:55 PM
1

Oh gotcha I don’t really see much of that.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/24 04:34 PM

It’s one of the only places where you can have somewhat honest discussion about dating dynamics.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/24 04:32 PM

This doesn’t really negate the overall point of attractiveness.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/24 04:29 PM

Red Pill flairs on this site are obsessed with convincing people who they do not care about that they are correct. This is why no one takes it seriously because if it actually worked these guys wouldn’t be posting incessantly on dating forums.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/24 05:10 PM

True individualism is not caring what others think and needing to defend themselves on their individualism. It’s often particularly on social media a cope for an unfulfilled life.

I think genders are inherently attracted to certain professions. His reasoning is asinine.

/r/PurplePillDebate15/11/24 07:41 PM
4

A large study documented a bunch of men who go into red pill and it showed they actually had even less success with women when they started these same guys often migrate from red pill forums to incel/black pill forums. There has been a sharp decline in red pill forums in favors of black pill/incel forums.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/11/24 07:26 PM
1

You’re not someone who is dealing with paradox of choice lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/24 04:04 PM
2

Paradox of choice is a far bigger issue than any of this. Although social media is insidious as well but not specific to modern feminism. The environment for settling down with someone nowadays is just really bad. There is so much friction nowadays. Modern dating is about optimizing nowadays instead of satisficing. Paradoxically the first one is actually much worse for humans.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/24 03:05 PM

How many of those guys would be interested in this woman?

I think it’s more realistic than defeatist. I’m blackpilled but married. So it doesn’t really impact your success or lack there of.

The large emphasis on looks and a by product of that height for men. I 100% believe most of my dating was just dumb genetic luck.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/11/24 01:22 PM

I’ve always been confused what is so controversial about the blackpill. Most of it even as a married guy rings pretty true to my experiences.

Because it’s not socially acceptable particularly with women of a certain political persuasion which you have touched on. It’s studies like these though that can revolutionize your dating life. Who is “they” and why do people even care what “they” say. This entire subreddit is basically neurotic posting of things that have no basis in reality. If having kids and a career is priority you’ll make it work. What “they” say is irrelevant.

Quite achievable? Research by economist Raj Chetty and colleagues indicates that children in lower-income families face significant challenges in achieving economic mobility. Children raised in the bottom fifth of the income distribution have only a 7.5% chance of reaching the top fifth as adults. This disparity is often linked to income inequality, which has increased over recent decades and limits resources available to lower-income families. /r/PurplePillDebate31/10/24 03:10 PM
1

Because their effort isn’t rewarded. I know guys who have literally hired people to work on their profiles. There comes a point of diminishing returns where advice becomes patronizing.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/24 02:55 PM
2

I’ve literally stated I have no advice multiple times. Do you have reading comprehension issues?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/24 02:31 PM
6

Well by your logic no one should be ordinary they just need better pictures and they will be to use your own definition a “pussy slayer.” I guess I live in reality and have empathy for guys who struggle and don’t try to give patronizing advice.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/24 02:17 PM

You’re quite upset it seems.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/24 02:05 PM
9

You can literally go to any of the dating subreddits and see plenty of guys with profiles that check your rules who are struggle. I don’t even know what point you are trying to make with your response here?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/24 01:57 PM
0

No it’s your list of rules that most successful men break and your assumption that every man who struggles on dating apps is taking bad pictures. In your list on your posts you literally had the most basic requirements that many men who struggle on apps follow. There’s a ton of guys who put in quite a bit of effort and struggle.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/24 01:55 PM
2

Read the sentence again.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/24 01:46 PM
9

The point is very clear. That you need clarification means you have no retorts.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/24 01:45 PM
10

Once again most of these guys are making the most of their pics and still struggling. There’s no need for ad-hominem attacks I never once stated I’m a “pussy slayer” what childish lingo. I even state my attractiveness is not anything I’ve actually done so it’s nothing to brag about.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/24 01:39 PM
3

If they had a mixed social circle and were going to events. They probably wouldn’t be struggling on dating apps. The advice here for guys is so patronizing lol
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/24 01:36 PM
22

My attractiveness is solely based on genetic luck. That’s exactly the point I don’t have advice for these guys and neither do attractive women who write these long lists of stuff that they would never do themselves.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/24 01:32 PM
3

Most men are doing their best though and still struggle. I literally stated some guys I know have hired professionals and still struggle. What do you say to these guys?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/24 01:31 PM
1

I had multiple mirror selfies and had no problem getting matches. Some of my friends hired professions to do their profiles and still got less matches. What do you think is the difference here?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/24 01:27 PM
16

You don’t see it because one it would dismantle your argument. Two you probably swipe past these guys quickly. Regardless your n-1 experience is irrelevant. Male dating profile optimization is a huge business. The various dating subreddits here have thousands profiles checks every day and are pretty much all doing the basics you listed.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/24 01:26 PM
5

How are they going to go out and make male friends? What does that even look like lol?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/24 01:07 PM
88

I always find it hypocritical to tell guys they need to put in more effort when I myself put in very little effort. Most guys who struggle on dating apps put in 10x the effort I did. I broke a vast majority of rules you put in here literally and copy and pasted message for every match. Women give horrendous dating advice to guys because the guys they actually date follow none of the “rules” they give out.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/24 12:53 PM
9

These guys don’t have a social network. That’s why they struggle on apps in the first place.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/24 12:50 PM
1

Most men are quite desperate.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/24 06:21 PM
2

Complete lack of masculinity. Even reading his post you can tell this.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/24 06:15 PM

In my life sure but it’s a unicorn situation. 99.99% of the time the attractive women’s partner makes complete sense.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/24 09:32 PM

For every one of these mythical creatures Redditors somehow know. There’s like a 1000s counter examples.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/24 09:22 PM

Most people don’t have the hang ups around sex red pill guys do.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/24 02:26 PM

Large scale studies show people are actually incredibly consistent in attractiveness ratings. Even cross culturally.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/24 02:51 PM
2

Depends on what their starting point is. Fit is far more attractive than skinny. We are seeing this with borderline women who take ozempic.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/24 02:40 PM

Weight is largely irrelevant (outside of the obvious ranges) due to body composition.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/24 02:31 PM

People don’t understand this. Confidence is an end product of real world feedback. To optimize for it is a Goodharts Law proposition.
/r/seduction23/10/24 04:03 PM
4

The things that are “subjective” are minuscule in effect size compared to the things that are objective. Physical attractiveness research is a robust field of high quality. Why people on this subreddit try to make up their own thoughts on the subject it’s puzzling to me.
/r/seduction23/10/24 12:26 PM
0

Upper body strength is 80% of the variance of male physical attractiveness. It is the singles biggest lever. The high school broccoli head spamming arms/chest/back at your local big box gym understands the science better than 99% of guys here.
/r/seduction23/10/24 12:12 PM
1

Amazing how that works lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/10/24 02:56 PM

Once again no one is forcing you to lower your standards. Go use your high value and find a non ran through women.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/10/24 02:55 PM
1

Lol if you think are the women are “ran through”don’t use dating apps then. Seems pretty simple no?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/10/24 02:53 PM
1

You don’t have to punch down? Nor date a woman who was ran through? The beauty of dating apps is the freedom of choice.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/10/24 02:50 PM
1

Why do so many “red pill” guys not follow “red pill”advice. If you are a high status attractive man you are going to clean up on dating apps. So why is there so much whining about dating apps here with people with self designated red pill flair? Dating apps are pure meritocracy.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/10/24 02:49 PM
1

Offer a rebuttal? For a male the better looking you are and the better your career the more matches you get? You are a self designated “red pill guys” this is all in the handbook.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/10/24 02:47 PM

It’s amazing for men with high standards as well. Dating apps are a perfect meritocracy.

What is bullshit about human intuition?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/24 03:52 PM

This is so key. There is an intuitive nature to all this that can’t be taught. A woman can just sense something is off with a guy.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/24 02:51 PM

Looks matter a great deal to women. Finances are only going to move the needle if you are flat out broke or super wealthy. The study shows that, on average, men who are 5 feet 6 inches need to make an additional $175,000 annually to be as desirable as men who are almost 6 feet. The number increases with shorter heights, with men who are 5 feet, for example, needing to make an additional $317,000 in income. A 6’2” man can earn $30,000 less than a 6’ man and will be viewed as equally desirable The…

My wife and I are both high earners. 90% of the people I work with in my field which is considered a high earning field have accomplished spouses. You have absolutely no clue what you are talking about. I know one guy in my field who is in the proverbial red pill “gold digger” type relationship and he is considered an absolute pariah. Posts like this are always a big tell on how low status red pill guys because they only deal in fiction about high status folks.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/09/24 07:04 PM

Plenty of cocky guys who get no women and plenty of good guys clean up. It isn’t the variable that matters. I’ve been a fuck boy and a good guy neither mattered tbh. Being 6’3 and very into fitness on the other hand always matters.

Exactly there’s nothing inherently wrong with the dating apps they just show us are true nature. I actually love dating apps because it allowed me to meet a ton of different women who I would probably never run into day to day.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/09/24 03:15 PM
5

No I don’t. A very robust and interesting research paper came out on stated vs. revealed preferences. What people state they prefer in partners is very different than revealed preferences of who they actually date. This is probably the biggest problem with modern dating advice also.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/09/24 03:07 PM
1

I’d throw Miami in there as-well. Honestly most of the people who hate on them are poor.

/r/PurplePillDebate06/09/24 05:37 PM

Don’t know what to tell you he’s extremely well known in my sport. You could probably find out quickly who it was with a google search. Not my coach but a current example is Jedd Fisch who was a high school tennis player who is a big time college football coach.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/09/24 02:56 PM
7

Of course this is always the response. “You are lying about your social skills.” I can assure you that is not the truth. I broke every rule that I see get advocated by people giving dating advice to incel types.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/09/24 02:54 PM
3

You don’t have to play the game to understand things about said game. My college coach never played our sport but produced multiple professional athletes. Even so I played the game and played it well and social skills had 0 correlation to my success.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/09/24 02:52 PM
4

What do you mean disqualify? Red Pill/Black Pill types have these views because that is observed reality. I have dog shit social skills I never struggled dating and am happily married. Some of my friends who have much better social skills struggled and continue with dating.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/09/24 02:34 PM
6

Anecdotally I don’t find this to be true at all. I have dog shit social skills never struggled dating and am happily married. Meanwhile I have friends with objectively great social skills who always struggled dating and continue too. We also know the Halo Effect completely impacts people’s perception of social skills. Go to the weight loss subreddit there are thousands of posts about how people say they are treated much better by people since the lost weight.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/09/24 02:28 PM

It’s a very simple thing to study. Assortative mating has been a thing before research was even a thing.
/r/RedPillWomen04/09/24 03:07 PM

We know people’s self observations are terrible. We see this across many domains not just dating. A large research paper showed both men and women rated themselves higher than they were perceived by the opposite sex. Although men were much more delusional in their perceived value.
/r/RedPillWomen04/09/24 03:02 PM

The problem with hypergamy is that it simply doesn’t bear out in any research. Assortative mating on the other hand has decades of research. People marry those on the same level as them.
/r/RedPillWomen04/09/24 02:35 PM

Some men try very little for how big of a deal it is then.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/09/24 09:37 PM
2

Yes overconfident big girls are the male equivalent of this. Particularly those who have attractive friends.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/24 01:22 PM

Why are asking men to check your hormones. Very gay.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/24 08:00 PM

They clearly aren’t if you are this bitchy.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/24 07:51 PM

You red pill guys really out here writing paragraphs upon paragraphs of nonsense. May want to get your hormones checked. Some of the most “beta” male shit is written by guys with red pill by their name.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/24 07:25 PM

Probably because all the rhetoric you see on how looks are everything even though I knew that anecdotally not to be true.

1

That doesn’t change my point?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/24 03:02 PM

Probably on the extremes. I am often shocked how normal most incels look. Its personality pilled me a lot. The biggest issue is neuroticism not looks.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/24 02:58 PM
1

There is very little variance with body types.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/24 02:50 PM

There’s actually very little variance in perceived attractiveness in large scale studies even cross culturally. The issue here seems to be group dynamics.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/24 02:36 PM

I have basically encountered guy who struggles with dating in his 20’s all of the sudden turn into Casanova in their 30s. I do know a lot of guys who think/thought it was going to happen for them.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/08/24 03:44 PM

I specifically stated on average because I knew comments like this would be coming.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/08/24 03:36 PM

The biggest predictor of success with women is previous success with women. There will be outliers obviously but in reality there are innate things that make someone successful and they rarely just pop out of nowhere. We vastly overestimate human behavioral malleability.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/08/24 03:08 PM

Other than standard male/female banter if you spewed some of the rhetoric I see here by both men and women you would be considered a social outcast (which many here are) in many different social groups.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/24 02:13 PM

It would not be socially acceptable in any social group I’ve ever been in.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/24 02:06 PM

The subreddit is filled with bias from both men and women. It’s genders of both groups who struggle with dating then taking their anger out on one another. I have never encountered any of the rhetoric I see here in real life. Maybe I hang out with far too many socially well adjusted people IRL.

/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/24 02:38 PM

No one said hookups are relationship. There are plenty of single mothers in 2nd or even 3rd LTR relationships. Meanwhile incels and the like can’t even get a match.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/24 02:22 PM
3

They can get hookups and relationships more than the guys criticizing them,
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/24 01:31 PM
4

Because these women still do better in the dating market than them. It’s why these guys hate overweight women as-well. You know who doesn’t really care about either? Guys in successful relationships or those who do well in the dating market.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/24 12:16 PM

Of course you don’t find it comical. You wouldn’t have written multiple paragraphs here plus hundreds of other posts whining about women if you simply understood human behavior like most of us guys figured out in high school. Quite sad really if you guys weren’t such dweebs.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/24 11:52 AM

You’re not in any position to criticized one’s intelligence when you needed the red pill as a grown adult to figure out things most of us learned in high school. That you frequently give advice in a subreddit called married red pill is so utterly hilarious you couldn’t make it up. It’s comical how on brand the blind leading the blind is in red pill circles.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/24 11:42 AM

And men don’t like when women complain just like your post. Why are you red pill types are so dense? Is it intentional or a coping strategy? I guess it’s too much to expect from red pill types whose entire philosophy is based on stuff most guys learn in high school.

You’re only as faithful as your options. Most guys don’t cheat because they don’t have any options or the options they have aren’t as good at what’s at home. It isn’t a matter of permission. The more interesting question is how many guys would cheat if they were approached by an absolute smokeshow.

Negative frame has significantly more impact than positive frame. It’s why most guys fail because they fall back on their natural state. You completely lost frame in two critical moments it’s no wonder you have very little desire going on at the moment. If you would’ve just STFU’d and gone about your business you’d be in much better position. 95% of guys problems in this subreddit are related to talking too much.

For every red pill guy who has success there are plenty more who are far worse off. The key insight is that there is no key insight. This a multifaceted topic. Way too many people try to simplify things to one key point.

I am 100% science pilled. I’m not going to lie I had a ton of success dating before I got married because I had no biases when looking at actual research. It’s quite amazing how effective it all is. Pretty much all the pills get some research right but their own biases eliminates the data that doesn’t fit their worldview. It’s probably for the best most guys don’t understand how to read research or let their own biases get in the way. Because once you truly understand the whole picture it’s beco…

Interesting last paragraph. I also found PUAs to be much happier people they generally found a gf and became more normie. There was also much less anger towards women.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/24 05:43 PM
10

As somebody who is only in this for the research extraversion is the true black pill. Not only by effect sizes but also my real world experience. PUA stuff as cringey as some of it was much more conducive to success than whatever we see today in RP spaces. At least it got guys out there approaching.

Show the studies then. Should be easy if there are dozens.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/24 08:36 PM

Where? I’ve read your post multiple times and you still are neglecting basic market theory.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/24 08:12 PM

I just really do not understand it. It’s simple market theory. Nobody has ever given me a satisfactory answer.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/24 08:10 PM

Atleast form some sort of rebuttal you marked it as debate?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/24 08:09 PM

What woman deem your value is the only thing that matters in the dating market because that is who you want the attract or are trying to date. It’s like saying employers don’t matter in the job market.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/24 07:37 PM
2

Funny thing is the real black pill is actually personality research shows it’s actually very hard to change. Looks are atleast somewhat malleable.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/24 07:26 PM
3

No you can’t. Personality is borderline impossible to change. This is well accepted in psychology. Personality psychology is one of the most robust fields of research. It’s actually the real black pill.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/24 07:25 PM

Bold to assume they are in relationships lol
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/24 05:43 PM

Red Pill guys are always thinking of their girl getting banged by other dudes. It’s very bizarre.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/24 04:22 PM

Don’t think you’ll ever have to worry about it.

Nope I have nothing everything you said is 100% factual and irrefutable. Best of luck.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/24 12:30 PM

What have much large datasets on the issue compared to a vague comment about 3 compabies. You won’t change your opinion anyways so this is futile. Best of luck to you.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/24 12:29 PM

Man vs. bear seriously my guy. Best of luck to you.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/24 12:18 PM

Gen Z makes more money adjusted for inflation/COL than any other generation.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/24 12:17 PM

Neuroticism has shown to be the highest predictor of involuntary single-hood. While extraversion has the high correlation with romantic partners. They both have significantly higher effect sizes than physical attractiveness and height.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/24 12:05 PM

That’s not at all what I’m talking about. I’m talking about guys believing everything they see on social media and thinking that is reality. Most PPD men are high in neuroticism it’s a lethal combo.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/24 11:48 AM

Social media is selling a lie. That is the biggest problem with Gen Z. I suppose it doesn’t matter at this most of you are so addicted to it that’ll be borderline impossible to get you back to reality.

Risk taking/aversion is correlated to relationships/sexual partners even when physical attractiveness is taken into account.

A chance to show them is the personality trait.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/24 06:27 PM
2

To me it has way more to do with risk taking/aversion than social skills.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/24 06:25 PM
6

My least favorite thing about all this is how many guys ignore the elephant in the room with their lack of dating/sexual success. Their own neuroticism. There is nothing including physical attractiveness that has a larger positive and negative correlation to romantic success than neuroticism/extraversion.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/24 06:14 PM
1

Research shows certain personality traits have for more correlation with sexual partners than physical attractiveness.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/24 05:47 PM

What is confusing about this?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/24 05:41 PM

What is confusing about this I’ve changed my opinion on the attractiveness of women I’ve been with?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/24 05:40 PM

What do you think is weird here?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/24 05:19 PM

Because you don’t have the same personality makeup as someone who is prone to cheating.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/24 02:25 PM

It’s not societal pressure it’s a biological pressure. To get made at either party is ridiculous. Odd to me how everyone wants to blame everyone for things out of our control.

They didn’t follow the advice then because there is more to the advice than just hit the gym get a good job. How many women has said guy approached? What social groups is said guy in. There’s plenty of financially success gymcels who go months without ever even talking to a woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/24 03:28 PM
18

No it’s no one’s fault because we are controlled by biological impulses. Much of attraction is subconscious. Physical Attractiveness are just biological health markers. There’s phenomenal studies on this if you can get past your own hang ups on the subject. So no it’s not a guys fault nor is it women’s fault either. The problem is that last sentence guys expect way more out women than they do themselves.

Read a psychology textbook and go over the chapter on similarity. You are totally botching the concept. The concept of similarity in relationships refers to the idea that individuals are more likely to form and maintain relationships with others who are similar to them in various attributes such as interests, values, personality traits, socio-economic status, education level, and even physical attractiveness. This phenomenon is often explained through several theories and principles: Homophily H…

At some point you have to simply look at revealed preferences. Age gap relationships are incredibly rare. Being with someone who is on the same trajectory of life as you matters more. It’s the problem with red pill they pick and choose when they want to use revealed preference research.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/24 01:46 PM

Totally disagree with your last part. I would probably say the number one complaint in dating subreddits is great guy/gal no “spark.”
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/24 01:13 PM

People subconsciously do this it’s why we see couples being incredibly looksmatched in research. Red pillers take it way too far but you are being little obtuse here.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 04:49 PM
1

I always get a kick out of guys here literally taking their whole lives to figure out the halo effect. Women like attractive men, men like attractive women. I just solved the red pill.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/24 02:11 PM
1

You red pill types never make any sense.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/24 12:04 AM

You’re 5’10 lol I have plenty of friends who are shorter than you in happy relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/24 08:53 PM

I’m not any pilled i’m happily married and friends with a bunch of less than exceptional guys myself included who are married in relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/24 08:31 PM

Social media informing false beliefs is more harmful. Also less social interaction than ever before. That you even bring up the 6-6-6 nonsense leads me to believe you don’t get out much.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/24 08:18 PM

Honestly attraction is incredibly simple and really is a checklist. The problem is putting forth the effort.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/24 07:14 PM

When I was younger my friends and I probably approached 10-20 women a weekend. To this day I can’t even remember anything being that bad. You honestly just kind of laugh thinking back. Most guys who talk about all the bad things have never even approached a woman in a traditional setting.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/24 12:41 PM

It’s not a paradox. True confidence comes from competency. Guys here think they can just adopt frame and everything will fall in line. Fake it till you make it never lasts and often see it having detrimental effects long term. Do people not take you seriously? You’d have to ask them what I do know is my business is doing well, I’m happy with my marriage, and my kids are thriving.
/r/MarriedRedPill14/05/24 06:10 PM

Acting like you are that person isn’t going to do a whole lot of good if you have nothing to back it up. Biggest issue with red pill is people focusing on frame without anything to back it up with. You are just another red pill LARP who no one takes seriously then.
/r/MarriedRedPill14/05/24 04:49 PM

You need red pill to tell you attractiveness matters?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/24 03:58 PM
1

You would be extremely wrong.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/24 03:57 PM

Unless you have a legit physical disability you can get laid if you put in sufficient effort.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/24 03:40 PM

Anyone can just get laid that doesn’t take much effort. I would assume most guys have higher aspirations.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/24 03:35 PM

I don’t understand why red pill guys can’t get it through their minds that you can be both attractive and pro social. It’s like you guys learn attractiveness matters and through everything else by the way side.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/24 03:22 PM

I don’t know how some of you deal with the wives you have. Anyways yea take the gym more seriously and STFU. You need to cut out the mental masturbation on odd topics. The rambling in the middle was extremely bizarre.
/r/MarriedRedPill30/04/24 01:28 PM

I’m a dude and no your ranting and raving about your lack of success is not a point. It’s a diary entry.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/24 06:16 PM

Can always call out bullshit
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/24 06:14 PM

That’s the thing I don’t see a single point….
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/24 06:09 PM

What point are you trying to make here? Guys who can’t get laid despise others who can it’s not really that deep.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/24 06:04 PM

If you can’t one girlfriend you are not average.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/04/24 03:36 PM

No it’s just some of you are so asinine about the height discussions and lack any nuance.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/24 04:29 PM

Money is incredibly overrated wrt to relationships outside of the extremes. It’s probably the one thing I’ve changed my mind on most after looking at research.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/24 02:24 PM

This subreddit is the perfect example of why a woman is seeking out a tall partner.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/24 02:09 PM

What does that have to do with the ones you aren’t interested in. Also there’s millions of single women finite is being hyperbolic.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/24 09:42 PM
3

Omg the irony lol. Why can’t women date who they want?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/24 08:11 PM
3

Why do you care about someone who is at “their worst” thinks? No I don’t “know it.” Call me crazy but I was only interested in woman who I wanted to date.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/24 08:06 PM
1

If someone is “ruined” they why would they care about this persons preferences.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/24 08:03 PM

People’s preference change. Plenty of women I hooked up with when I was younger that I wouldn’t want to marry. Why are you so upset with someone’s preferences? You obviously don’t want yo date this mythical woman so why do you care?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/24 07:59 PM

Show me the survey data that shows that?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/24 07:46 PM

You are actually pretty darn close it’s 4.3 for women 6.3 for men.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/24 07:40 PM

You are doing what all red pill types do. Taking something that is on average scientifically true but turning around and making some weird moralistic argument. Nothing is stopping you from satiating said higher libido if you want.

/r/PurplePillDebate02/04/24 02:12 PM

This is probably the only subreddit where it fits. Every study shows incels and the involuntary single guys are magnitudes more autistic and have high levels of neuroticism.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/24 05:33 PM
6

Why do you care move on to someone you want to date.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/24 05:32 PM

You can want your friends to succeed but also be in competition. Competition is what breeds success. Most of the problems with guys here is they are loners with no pressure pushing them.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/24 02:56 PM

I’ve seen guys do everyone of these things. That you think guys are cheering each other on giving sound advice and not in competition for women is utterly hilarious to me.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/24 02:46 PM
16

Are you okay dating a morbidly obese woman then? You have to say yes if your OP is true. Or else you are just a hypocrite.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/24 04:21 PM
1

That is exactly what I have been wondering about you and your obsession with labels.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 09:59 PM
1

I think it’s quite silly if you put a lot of stock into labels.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 09:52 PM
-1

You seem to be the defensive one. I’m simply pointing out the fact why labeling is silly.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 09:35 PM
1

I don’t either which is why your obsession with labeling is silly.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 09:28 PM

What does labeling matter? People label people for all sorts of things. I have a friend who was labeled misogynistic because he said women care about looks just as much as guys do.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 09:23 PM
1

Attitudes towards women became much more jaded.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 09:09 PM
3

You think the only women red pill guys are meeting is mentally ill women one night stands on dating apps? Your post also illustrates nobody is more brutal to women than other women. You can’t have a fling one night on OLD without being mentally ill? Seems incredibly judgmental.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 09:06 PM

The red pill working for guys and crushing all their once held beliefs. I known more than a few “nice guys” get into red pill it working for them then they buy hook line and sinker into all the other crap associated with it. The red pill doesn’t work for the socially autistic incel that represents this place. It does seem to be effective for the normie guy who struggles to create attraction with women. When it works for these types of guys it makes them very jaded.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 08:33 PM

Whining, Whining, Whining. You’re not redpill you are just a whiny little man. Nobody is mandating anything. If you anything once you have status you get to mandate.

It’s seems so simple I don’t get it. Better yourself and you’ll have more options. Life is a competition.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/24 06:54 PM

I don’t think I’ve ever met some who applied it earnestly and it didn’t work.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/24 05:51 PM

Fair points I just have never seen someone apply it in earnest and not have some success.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/24 05:36 PM

It was never about women being bad you’re exactly the type of dummy who fucked over the message. There’s nothing bad about wanting to date successful guys. Is it bad I want to date successful good looking women?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/24 05:27 PM
1

I guess that’s where my confusion lies how could you apply it and not drastically improve. Like you said though they never applied it and only used it as an outlet to bitch.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/24 05:22 PM
3

I hate how the red pill was co-opted by whiny losers. There some valuable information that has helped a lot of guys that is overrun by loser incels who want to bitch about how life isn’t fair and women bad.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/24 05:16 PM
2

Work: Do your job but start optimizing for the job search process. You’ll get better opportunities on the open market than trying an internal manifesto. Your job has showed you how they “value” you. Sleep: CBT-I Lifting: You know what needs to done. If you just workout from home don’t sleep on pull-ups and dips. Relationship: Stop explaining yourself. Initiation will never have 100% success rate smile and move on. All your breakthroughs it seems have been derailed by this.
/r/MarriedRedPill08/03/24 04:47 PM

No it isn't. Literally nothing is stopping you. I have done everything in the post as a guy got 0 societal backlash whatever the fuck that is.

I hate how the red pill has been co-opted by whiny guys like you. You are completely missing the point.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/24 12:40 AM

How is this specific to women? You can do the same thing as a man if you want?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/24 12:35 AM

I often think of this study: Women and their parents rate ambition and intelligence as more important in a mate, but still choose more attractive men. What women don’t understand is that what you said it works or reflects the reality of things. I know so many people who had your experience. The problem with it is that it gets overrun with incels who don’t want to change or just bitch about women.

There is absolutely nothing in here about what you are accomplishing in life. The constant talk about frame in this place is nauseating. You basically have described all of the mainstream dating subreddits. Reddit has an epidemic of nice guys. All the comments echo the same sentiment as the bike story. I find nice guys far more pathetic than the red pill and that is saying something. They are also far more manipulative.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/03/24 03:54 PM

Who is talking about social conservatives? Also if you don’t want to engage in hookup culture (I have many friends married from the apps) don’t download them and whine about them.

You are one of those guys who makes being divorced your entire personality. You need to stop psychoanalyzing everything. Action begets behavior. Why do you care what women say? Every single guy I grew up with up understood women care about looks by like high school. You just observe the world around you. This is what I don’t understand about you red pill types are you just this naive?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/24 03:56 PM

Who says women should share high value men. It’s more of an observation they do. I don’t think the research there is all that shocking.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/24 06:50 PM

Population levels sure individual it is kind of pointless.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/24 06:48 PM
3

I care very deeply about looks you just have to understand if you do you can’t be in a different stratosphere than what you like. Which is a lot of guys problems. My radical opinion is dating apps should give people an aggregated attractiveness score and show people with the same score.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/24 05:46 PM
1

On a population level there are certainly age curves of desirability. The male curve skews older. That’s really all there is and you and RP make it out to be something more than it is.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/24 04:38 PM

Why do you care you are a “red pill man” that obviously isn’t a problem for you.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/24 02:55 PM

I mean it’s true not really that groundbreaking but not very applicable for most of the guys here. He’s basically giving an idiot version of the big 5 personalities.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/02/24 09:30 PM

It’s just neuroticism. It’s one of the biggest predictors of single hood. It’s the elephant in the room with guys here.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/02/24 09:11 PM
28

Neuroticism is one of the biggest predictors of involuntary singlehood. It’s rampant on this site with guys. Just read OPs post pure neuroticism.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/02/24 09:07 PM

Idk I just roll my eyes at all the rhetoric half these guys could look like Brad Pitt and it wouldn’t matter because they are so neurotic.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/24 08:51 PM

Have you ever actually been around a women? Every gf I had took 10x the effort to get ready and spent 10x the amount of money on appearance stuff. Not to mention men don’t get screwed by the age curve. It’s also far easier to stay in shape as a guy. Some of you really need to venture outside in the real world.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/24 08:49 PM

A vast majority of them have mental illness. It’s the “elephant” in the room. Neuroticism and social anxiety not to mention being straight up autistic. That’s the real black pill. Very very minute % of guys are actually not successful because of looks.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/24 08:06 PM
1

It’s not irrelevant. I would’ve been exposed to a lot less higher quality women if I looked exactly the same but worked a normal job.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/24 07:48 PM

Men do not accept they are convinced that attractiveness levels should be a bell curve.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/24 05:38 PM

It’s not a hot take it’s factually correct men just get very upset by it.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/24 04:34 PM

Yes 100%. I am a male who was very successful with dating this place kinda opened my eyes to guys who struggle.

Don’t think this is gender specific applies to women as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/24 07:28 PM

Can give a different perspective. I am very “blackpilled” but I also had success with dating and am married. I’m not your typical person when you think of black pill doomer.

I see this here everyday. Women are attracted to attractive qualities some “thugs” have them some don’t. Being “decent” also has nothing to do with getting a relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/24 01:40 AM

Most things they enjoy is a result of capitalism.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/24 09:48 PM

It’s a fun excuse to get out and splurge a little more than usual. It’s not that deep.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/24 09:45 PM

No I think it’s simply genetics.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/24 09:43 PM

People do interact within their community and do not even know who Andrew Tate is.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/24 04:16 PM
1

Normies are too busy living life to even care about this stuff. Despite what people think here most adults intuitively figure out dating without need advice from Andrew Tate. The real black pill stuff has nothing to do with looks. Looks obviously matter but every normie I know knew this. We were all in the gym lifting weights and what not. The real black pill is behavioral genetics.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/24 03:55 PM

It can be fun dropping some physical attractive research into normie subs. People lose their shit.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/02/24 05:16 PM
3

Depends on what your standards are tbh. If your standards are supermodels you could probably work through that and date more normal women. I don’t think you can make someone attracted to people who are unattractive though. You are far better off raising up your value in the market.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/02/24 05:14 PM
3

The beauty of dating is it is one of the most honest markets around. No one “settles” people date who will date them.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/02/24 05:43 AM

Some of y’all need therapy.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/24 07:50 PM
1

The virgin stuff is so weird. Never heard a guy in my life talk about outside of this place. The problem with these spaces there is good info like being honest about physical attractive but man like 95% of other stuff is whacky.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/24 07:06 PM

It matters it’s just people can’t get everything they want. Women prefer taller men there are only just so many to go around.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/24 07:04 PM

There’s nothing to answer you weirdo
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/24 06:56 PM

lol
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/24 06:43 PM

How so I’m conservative the type of person you think the left is after and I had no problem dating. Even have dated some very liberal women. Physical attraction is biological not political.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/24 06:38 PM

You having to explain things to your mom may be why have you problems dating in the first place. You can show respect without being whiny.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/24 06:31 PM

On an individual level it is not a political issue. seems silly to be angry at the left or the right for that matter.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/24 06:30 PM
4

Don’t get me wrong there is some truth within black pill research. You guys just take it too far. There are things you can do, and women aren’t the enemy. Best of luck to you.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/24 04:42 PM
9

Somewhat but you totally miss the value of a relationship and are getting emotional about it. Problem with a lot of you guys you might make an interesting observation but take it way too far or project your own insecurities.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/24 04:24 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/24 05:00 PM

I definitely fall into the latter category and tbqh never understand the first position. How do you observe the world and be so oblivious? I was in the weight room as a high schooler because it was so patently obvious on what equated success.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/24 04:54 PM
4

The thing I’ll never understand about red pill guys is how emotional they are. You’ve swallowed the red pill you understand physical attractiveness matters quite a deal. Ok shouldn’t this be a relief? You have the answers to the test?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/24 04:45 PM
2

You say ok and move on.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/24 06:54 PM
1

You move on? It’s quite simple.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/24 06:42 PM

Sure but good doesn’t mean a high quality partner. This is the problem with the other side of guys with dating woes.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/01/24 06:51 PM

It’s always odd to me that people who struggle dating are the “good ones.” I’m much more rational and think your prospects dwindle mightily as you get older. It’s simple market dynamics.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/01/24 06:15 PM

You don’t need to show vulnerability in a relationship. This is one of those dumb things people who struggle with dating think.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/01/24 06:13 PM
2

Their actions align with the research not what they say.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/24 07:06 PM

I think it’s only appropriate when people are delusional. There are way too many ugly guys and gals who vastly overestimate their looks.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/24 06:56 PM
1

People say stuff all the time that is different than their actions why would I care about that?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/24 06:41 PM

No not at all and I am pretty financially secure. I have 0 interest in new stuff.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/24 05:51 PM
1

One of the few times I agree with you. Research shows there is actually very little differences among attractive ratings this is even true cross-culturally.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/24 05:48 PM
1

I guess I have a lot of sympathy for guys because there is no chance back in the day I would do half the shit people recommend for dating advice. Shower obviously but some stuff seems nonsensical.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/24 07:45 PM
1

That’s something I can never wrap my head how do you through life and not understand looks matter?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/24 06:07 PM
3

I think about this a lot when I see red pill guys complaining that women lie about how much looks matter. Ok you know they are lying act accordingly. Why guys get so emotional (when they care about looks aswell) is utterly confusing. You know the answers to the test why are you getting upset.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/24 02:42 PM
2

Shockingly good post for this site lol
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/24 07:21 PM
1

You think you are better than the person you are with market wise.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/24 05:12 PM
1

I rarely think people “settle” more often the market has given people enough feedback that their expectations were too high.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/24 03:24 PM
3

Don’t get mad at me you can’t even attract average women. Why is it every time someone has red pill flair they are more emotional than women. Girls don’t want to date guys who complain 24/7. Start there first.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/01/24 11:14 PM
3

Who cares what people think they deserve if you are high value you can date whoever you want. You red pill guys are such morons. I never had to settle for average women in my life.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/01/24 11:01 PM
1

Whatever makes you sleep at night lol
/r/PurplePillDebate20/01/24 10:55 PM
1

No not really
/r/PurplePillDebate20/01/24 10:52 PM
17

It’s much more rare than younger guys think it was in the past. I met plenty of women at clubs/bars but more longer relationships were formed through social/work contacts. This is how I met my wife. Appearances matter don’t get me wrong but most guys’ problems here is they have no social lives.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/01/24 07:48 PM
1

Because the caliber of men is at an all time low
/r/PurplePillDebate20/01/24 06:36 PM
3

On the contrary it’s never been easier to set yourself apart. Also looks have always mattered most guys here just lack the social intelligence to understand it.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/01/24 06:22 PM
1

I would actually tell you don’t do xyz to get laid but not for any moralistic reason. I just think it is incredibly inefficient. Fact of the matter is 90%+ are meeting people through social groups/work/dating apps.

/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/24 07:59 PM

I don’t know what all the ranting and raving is about. If you take your emotions out of it plenty of research shows man overvalue the attractiveness compared to women.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/24 06:49 PM

Guys vastly overestimate what league they are in. They don’t understand that looks aren’t a perfect bell curve.

Don’t know lol have not a friend who is anime a couple into video games I guess but very casually
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/24 04:57 PM
1

Just like all your friends are into them I don’t know a single person into them.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/24 04:52 PM

Problem with red pillers is that they find some truths and take it to complete extremes.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/01/24 04:29 PM

Of course I didn’t just read the abstract go deeper in the paper and it talks about the physically attractive component.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/01/24 04:20 PM

Nothing is more dangerous than a red pill guy with a google scholar account. Look deeper into the research than just the abstract. Narcissism is attractive because these guys are usually in great physical shape, obsessed with looks, extremely confident/charismatic/, approach more women, and have less sexual repulsion. Oh yea by the way they have terrible relationship quality. Red pillers think just acting like an asshole will get them laid lol. Good luck with that.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/01/24 04:12 PM
1

It’s amazing to me they have “the answers to the test” and still can’t take advantage of it.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/24 03:52 PM
2

In my experience there is nothing guys hate more than a guy who can get women. That’s why none of these manosphere have much of a community. Once you get your shit together you think those groups are pathetic. I was working in an office one time and this guy was lecturing me on “don’t shit where you eat.” Found out later he tried to date every girl in the office.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/24 03:51 PM
2

It’s always odd to me how emotional red pill guys are. I tend to agree that women downplay the importance of looks but the vitriol this causes some guys is bizarre.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/24 03:43 PM
7

Your post is literally titled women’s attraction to dangerous and men. Why not just make the post women are attracted to confident and attractive men. Dangerous and violence part is irrelevant. It’s like the million bad boy posts we see here.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/24 06:37 PM
14

There are plenty of dangerous and violent men who are not attractive at all. Your cherry picked examples are also no attractive because they are violent it’s because those guys have the other characteristics that women find attractive. It’s the “bad boy fallacy” so many red pillers misunderstand.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/24 05:50 PM

Don’t be a simp then it is quite simple.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/24 05:46 PM

What problem? Date who you want?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/24 05:42 PM

This is a such a “nice guy” post. I am a guy and wouldn’t put up with a vast majority of the things listed. People are entitled to date who they want. Why is this so confusing.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/24 05:31 PM
27

Red Pill fan fiction and not at all how it works in real life. These are complete ridiculous extremes.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/01/24 06:36 PM

Bingo. Bad boys are attractive because they are confident, usually have a bit of narcissism so very looks focused, and aren’t afraid of rejection. You can’t emulate this if you are a 5’5 timid guy and just like you said start treating women’s badly lol
/r/PurplePillDebate09/01/24 06:31 PM

I think so many guys here don’t understand why women like about bad boys. They don’t emulate the correct characteristics.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/01/24 05:56 PM
25

I’m the furthest thing from a red pill guy but I do think women lie about how much physical attractiveness matters. Also due to the halo effect it colors how we perceive people personalities. Your conversation point is the perfect example of how this plays out in real life.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/01/24 05:15 PM
1

They are plenty of books out there that would tremendously more than red pill goodly gook
/r/PurplePillDebate08/01/24 04:57 PM
1

Fair point and an interesting study nonetheless. Although I think guys could read too much into it.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/01/24 04:38 PM
3

Nothing is more dangerous than a red pilled cherry picking on google scholar. This study is not all the surprising it doesn’t negate my original point.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/01/24 04:32 PM
8

Complete and utter nonsense and red pill cope.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/01/24 03:28 PM
5

You are correct I don’t know why people who struggle with dating take advice that makes them even worse. Also you didn’t answer my question.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/01/24 03:06 PM
4

No are you?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/01/24 02:59 PM
9

Amazes me how much power some of you guys think. Once you truly understand what women looking there is nothing easier in the world than attracting and dating. Seriously it’s humorous how bad the information is on Red Pill forums are. I’m glad I learned this early on and didn’t fall down the rabbit hole like RP dweebs.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/01/24 02:52 PM
3

It far better strategy than what most of you are doing. Spending your nights and weekends arguing on PPD.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/01/24 02:49 PM
1

Men who have options don’t care it’s part of the game. You are your red pill brethren don’t have many options do it is very concerning to you. It’s a simple status equation.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/24 07:23 PM
-1

They think they are the “good guys.”
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/24 07:20 PM

😂
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/24 04:26 PM
2

There are literally guys who will take steroids instead of learning how to be social.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/24 03:37 PM
3

Yet, when someone asked on PPD to rank various things that are important, the vast majority of women ranked "How he makes me feel" above "Looks". Understanding this concept was like a cheat code for me. Unfortunately guys here will keep trying to improve by .001% in the gym.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/24 03:23 PM
3

Huh? Are these guys going to wilderness for a year. There’s friend’s I don’t see for awhile and we don’t miss a beat. There is no awkwardness or needing to hone social skills?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/24 02:24 PM

Seems to attract a high number of people on the spectrum.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/24 02:00 PM

What does it matter they both suffer from lack of social skills.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/24 01:54 PM
12

For the most part I agree, but the whiners are never going to be 10s and often their social skills are so atrocious that even a small improvement could help them a lot. It is the one constant variable of all incels/red pill guys. Hilariously bad social ineptitude.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/24 01:45 PM
7

Social skills are everything for 90% of guys. Have you ever noticed the wide variation in looks of most red pill/incels The most constant variable is social ineptitude.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/24 01:39 PM
1

Both groups attract the dregs of society.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/01/24 03:25 PM
2

As much as I despise red pill twox is equally as dumb or worse
/r/PurplePillDebate04/01/24 03:17 PM
11

Ironic because red pills guys are some of the whiniest little pissants ever.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/24 06:21 PM

I think younger guys vastly overestimate how easy it was to cold approach women at bars even pre dating apps. Or they are much more sensitive to rejection.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/24 04:37 PM

Both groups suffer from low status which is why they are angry. This is 90% of PPD in a nutshell. 10% of us are here for the circus.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/24 03:49 AM
3

We still have biological hard wiring. Modern society is only .00001% of human history.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/24 07:33 PM
1

You sound like you just don’t like competition. So strange the different mindset of guys nowadays. The competition was the fun part back in the day.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/24 04:47 PM

That isn’t true. College educated are more likely to not be single or divorced.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/23 06:01 PM

No the complete opposite more education has a significant correlation with romantic success.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/23 05:59 PM
2

Very high quality post that will unfortunately fall on deaf ears. I think the socialization part is mostly directed at men though. Most of the women who struggle with dating overrate their looks to their desired partners.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/23 07:39 PM
3

It’s because things don’t magically work out in your 30s. I think you are going to get a very skewed perspective here as well so take the advice here with a grain of salt. Me and wife got married mid to late twenties and we do envy our single friends at all. Also the “talent pool” is much thinner and there is more competition.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/23 06:27 PM
1

Anecdotally I hear many more regrets from the second group than the first group. This is just not wrt to dating either…
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/23 06:11 PM
20

You think women are actively trying to make it harder to find a partner instead of simply not being interested? I can’t imagine going through life like this.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/23 05:53 PM
1

What do you mean?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/12/23 06:02 PM
2

Low status people hate high status people this isn’t gender specific. PPD is 90% obese women and low status men mad at each other. 10% of are here for the circus and the occasional interesting post.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/12/23 05:59 PM
1

There is nothing in the world guys hate more than another guy who is successful with women. This subreddit is living proof.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/12/23 05:57 PM
1

This is always the case. Hilarious how true this is. The guys who say this are always jealous.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/12/23 05:39 PM
1

I’ve dated plenty of people I’ve worked with. Bill from accounting who says “don’t shit where you eat” would jump at the first opportunity if someone actually gave him attention. It’s always the low status guys in the office who said this.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/12/23 05:38 PM

They have status within their demographic,
/r/PurplePillDebate26/12/23 05:11 PM

Not even worth arguing with your types anymore. Believe whatever you want to believe. I live in the real world where outside of extreme outliers status matters far more than looks. One thing I have noticed with red pill/Incels is that it is actually quite shocking the variability in looks. One constant is that most are low status in society.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/12/23 04:57 PM

The whole premise of this question is quite ludicrous. Imagine if you reframed the question how does an average woman get a 10/10 male. Anyways they don’t because most couples are status-matched. Looks is only one piece of this puzzle which is what a lot of you guys don’t understand. I am always a bit befuddled how much men focus on it here. There is quite a variation of looks among red pill/incels. Almost all are low status.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/12/23 04:40 PM

This is utter bullshit that the MAJORITY of men will not get into relationships until their 30s. Jfc touch grass
/r/PurplePillDebate22/12/23 01:19 PM

Don’t date people who aren’t interested then….?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/12/23 01:09 PM
2

No you do you other than there is an inverse relationship between hours of anime watched and women dated in real life
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/23 04:54 PM
2

lol the jokes almost write themselves sometimes red pill guys are always into anime
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/23 04:45 PM
3

Bingo and the biggest thing I have learned about this subreddit. There is a reason so many autists flock here.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/23 07:39 PM
3

This was literally my method for attracting women and I did pretty well. The problem is most guys here are so socially inept and failed to socialize properly that this advice is pointless. Proper socialization is not something that can be taught very easily. Just as kids learn to walk instinctively most normal men learn how to communicate with women instinctively.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/23 07:38 PM
1

I hate red pill nonsense but I disagree wholeheartedly love is irrational. It’s very rational and honestly this is the biggest problem with red pillers.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/23 05:26 PM

Ok so you aren’t going to address my point. Her kids would have no problems dating if they actually were outgoing.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/12/23 06:50 PM

She doesn’t know the definition of outgoing.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/12/23 06:39 PM
5

Vast majority of these people aren’t married either
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/23 07:27 PM

Red pill guys are worried about “losing frame” because they vacuumed.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/23 06:39 PM

Very funny lol. Me and my wife do chores because we both work and we want to have a clean house and it’s more efficient that way. Utterly bizzare guys here can make chores into a red pill talking point,
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/23 05:41 PM

Some of you write about relationships like you are from a different planet.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/23 05:26 PM

Honestly I think she could be pretty attractive but there is something off about her energy/personality.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/23 04:48 PM

Not an asshole but naive.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/23 02:34 PM

You can always get in better shape, improve personality, get a better job.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/12/23 04:25 PM
2

What are you talking about? You don’t think the guys who spend hours arguing with fat women and writing dissertations on modern dating dynamics could be spending their time more wisely?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/12/23 04:21 PM
4

There are so many whiny guys here it drives me insane. My social group of guys growing up never worried about half this shit. “Hypergamy!” “Ratios!” Get jacked, get a good job, be incredibly charismatic, and put yourself out there. Guys these days are so afraid of competition and that’s what dating is. Getting the attractive girls number at the bar was the rush. It was fun not something to psychoanalyzed.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/12/23 04:09 PM
1

Dating is a competition there are winners and there are losers. I couldn’t care less about the “ratios” when I was dating. For the life of me I am bamboozled how much you guys care about stuff out of your control. Get jacked, get a good job, be incredibly charismatic, and put yourself out there. Dating attractive women good natured women is fun.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/12/23 03:58 PM

I never said everyone was good with the apps clearly that is not the case with how much bitching some of you guys do.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/12/23 03:50 PM

Dating apps are one of the must efficient ways to meet other attractive people. I dated pre and post dating apps the only regret I have is them not being around when I was younger. The only people who hate dating apps are those who aren’t getting matches.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/12/23 03:46 PM

My problems aren’t with the content of red pill my problem is guys thinking the content works. If it “worked” I would be much less judgmental. Most red pill guys I met are socially awkward weirdos. There have been numerous red pill types who have caught LARPing. They get a few things right but go totally off the deep end on other stuff that makes them probably less dateable. It would be 10x easier to reform a nice guy or blue pilled guy than a red pill guy. People who complain about red pill bei…

Married men with kids are the happiest demographic in the 18-55 age group range.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/23 04:27 PM

I agree with that but you said cut all contact.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/23 04:25 PM

Probably the worst thing a guy can do. I met a lot of women through other women.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/23 04:21 PM

I think B is the default to be honest. Maybe not as extreme as you making it out to be but most of what we find attractive are subconscious things. The problem with the friend zone is guys take it way too personally. They don’t have a lot of options so the few women who do give them attention they need to make romantic partners.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/23 03:52 PM
1

A lot but you can increase your chances.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/12/23 09:37 PM
1

I don't care that much lol. In all honesty I think any subreddit would fall into the same problems as this one does. There are very few people like me who had success or are successful who want to talk about this stuff. So you are only going to get people who are too emotionally invested.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/12/23 05:47 PM

I am happily married and always did well with dating but I have been always fascinated by some the topics at hand here. As toxic as this place can be it does seem to be one of the only places that is upfront about certain topics. The problem is the interesting topics get overrun by whining by obese women and incel men. I wish there was sub that wanted to talk more about the science without everyone getting emotional about their personal situation.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/12/23 05:36 PM

It's called the Halo Effect and it is one of the most robust things in social psychology.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/12/23 04:40 PM

I guess you are putting a lot more emphasis on the risks of partying than I experienced. Sure did a few people go too hard here and there yes but most probably 95% of the people I know are doing quite well significantly better than the antisocial people I know. It's also not like antisocial people don't get caught up with substance abuse issues. Moreso in my experience.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/12/23 05:33 PM

I guess I don't really know what point you are arguing for or against.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/12/23 05:21 PM

I have plenty of average looking joes in my social groups and acquaintances who have no problem getting significant others who they deem attractive. The obsession some of you have with looks is your downfall. Some of you have such a warped reality of how the real world works that it is 100% your lack of real socialization that is your problems.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/12/23 05:13 PM

I stated in another post that it isn't the drinking or drugs or smoking but the missing out on key social milestones due to neuroses which is the problem.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/12/23 05:01 PM
2

Agree but it's just a coping mechanism I guess.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/12/23 04:34 PM

About what lol. If you a social anxiety riddled homebody you aren't going to have much success with women.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/12/23 04:33 PM

You've nailed something here that is key with a lot of guys here I notice. They are extremely neurotic. It's not a looks or red pill blue pill issue but guys here are suffering from untreated neuroses and social anxieties.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/12/23 04:13 PM

I 100% think peer pressure or the lack thereof it is the number one problem with guys here. I am not talking about drinking or drugs either but more the peer and societal pressure of hitting life milestones. The guys here who think their problems are looks are clueless. They matter but it's not the majority of guys problems here the lack of socialization and the failure to hit key milestone developments are. If you were still a virgin by the end of first freshman year of college you were going t…
/r/PurplePillDebate06/12/23 04:11 PM

Funniest thing about red pill to me is that the guys who understand everything about women and dating are some of the bitchers and complainers when it comes to dating dynamics. Why not simply put all that information to good use and date loads of attractive women and not waste your team arguing about the preferences of obese women on an internet message board.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/23 10:00 PM

Some people are in bad marriages some people are in happy marriage don't even know what the point of this article is. This place loves singular anecdotes for some reason.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/23 09:17 PM

Research shows there is not as much variation on what we find attractive as most people think. We see this even across different cultures/countries. Which makes the biological underpinnings of physical attractiveness even more robust.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/23 08:11 PM
1

Because it worked incredibly well for me in real life dating scenarios. There is a lot of bullshit out there I will give you that and many of the red pill takes the research completely out of context.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/23 08:07 PM
3

This is an incels versions of a high value women lol. Any guy who has any success with dating knows what you eventually want to look for in a partner.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/23 06:30 PM

Why do you guys always got to be in these dumb competitions? Just find people you like to be around. You have literally hundreds of posts arguing with incels and you are lecturing someone who has been happily married for 10 years on happiness. The cognitive dissonance is amazing.....
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/23 04:30 PM

Economics of the dating market. There are going to be more singles in their 20s than their are in the 30s. The high quality partners are going to get snatched up quicker. It's simple supply and demand. It doesn't mean you can't find a high quality partner in your 30s but the amount and competition for them are much harder. Single people don't want to hear this because they take it very personally. Yet at the same time they are the ones bitching about the quality of partners in the dating as each…
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/23 04:20 PM
2

One thing men and women have a common ground here is how delusional they are about the quality of the dating pool in their 30s. It's a cope by both sexes.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/23 04:07 PM

Simple math makes dating in your 30s harder. The single greatest dating pool for high quality partners is college and post-grad. I also think people are much more mature in their 20s than you give them credit for. I did hang out with a very driven crowd though and we all have SOs by mid-late 20s. The few people I know who are still single are struggling to find high quality partners.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/23 03:54 PM
1

No one is not acknowledging most people understand it intuitively. The only people who don't are the socially awkward weirdos here who looks are the least of their issues. Wow money and looks are important most people intuitively get this in high school lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/23 06:41 PM

Don't conform to her frame, that's a beta move Or just act like a normal human and move on if this bothers you.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/23 06:37 PM

In general the relationship market is a pretty solid filtering mechanism. More likely than not people in relationships will be more of a catch than those who aren't. This is for both sexes.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/23 06:36 PM
2

I agree with this comment yet disagree with your comment further down. Most of the traditional high value couples I know committed quite early.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/23 06:27 PM
1

Agree but it isn't the crux of the issue and most guys fools themselves into thinking it is.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/23 06:25 PM

Most guys' problems here are not their looks.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/23 05:26 PM
3

It's not really astrology but being interested in what other people are interested in. Honestly it is one of the most important skills you can learn. Most people think they need to be interesting instead of being interested. Couldn't be further from the truth. Use it wisely though people will become obsessed with you. I had to deal with some serious stage 5 clingers when I started learning this stuff.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/23 05:17 PM

This place only attracts the most miserable. It's the Yelp Effect. There is no greater example of that than the looksmaxxing rhetoric you see here. This place is the single worst place for guys because it falsely internalizes a lot of irrational fearmongering.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/23 04:37 PM
3

Because the advice given to men here is not based in reality.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/23 05:17 PM
1

What do you want people to respond to this are you just looking for affirmation? Everyone with a brain knows this stuff is fixable to some degree. You either want to put in the work or you don't?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/23 04:34 PM
2

From my own personal experience and seeing others in my personal life I don't think anything short of some epiphany from the Heavens above can bring anyone out of that. 100% agree with this I think some guys here probably weren't that far away from being successful in the dating but one bad rejection or red pill brain rot totally killed any chances they have.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/23 04:28 PM
3

Which makes it even more confusing to me how guys have so much trouble here. Or maybe they are lying in what type of shape they are in.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/23 03:09 PM

If you are single and not in the best shape of your life you should not have any complaints about the dating scene. Boggles my mind how many single guys are in terrible shape. Upper body strength is the single biggest roi to increase physical attractiveness from a research standpoint.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/23 02:52 PM
1

Looks are important and it not being the biggest problem concerning most guys here can both be true. It's not that difficult to understand.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/23 02:52 PM
1

You don't need to be a male model to hit key relationship milestones when you are younger.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/23 02:50 PM
1

It doesn't matter because the man on the street videos are edited to show the most outlandish stuff. This has been true since early Letterman days.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/23 02:43 PM
1

It's not a cop out answer it is a simple fact. Those who hit key relationship milestones when younger have much more success in relationships as they get older. Nah my friends and I socialise plenty. What does this have to do with my point?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/23 02:30 PM
1

Part of the natural socialization process is understanding the importance of looks have you ever seen how many high school and college guys frequent the gym.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/23 02:27 PM
1

Of course not because you frequent this forum and red pill forums. You aren't around the people who hit proper socialization milestones.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/23 02:24 PM
2

Just saw a tiktok You could've stopped right there. You think a couple going on a normal date is going to get may views? Some of you have your brains warped by this type of social media.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/23 02:18 PM
3

The biggest problem with most men here is not looks but missing out on many of the key socialization milestones a man enters throughout his life. Most incels don't really even miss the looks criteria. There is something just socially off with them. It's only getting worse as well as we see less and less guys hitting key socialization milestones. It amazes me the difference in social lives that I had compared to some of my younger male co-workers.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/23 02:14 PM

Hey dumb dumb you are the one who responed to me about nothing about I wrote. Christ what the collective IQ of red pill posters?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/23 02:35 PM

Red pill guys made it much easier for us normal guys to be successful in dating. I find them hilariously stupid if anything.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/23 02:31 PM

Happily married lifelong friends and run my own successful business and don't have thousands of posts on red pill forums bitching about women. Doing much better than you apparently.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/23 02:30 PM
1

Yes men are perfectly rational about their perceived attractiveness. I am dude and this is one of the most idiotic things I have ever read in my life. You must not have a lot of male friends. Christ it's like having a red pill flair is a warning of having an extremely low iq or real life dating experience.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/23 02:23 PM

If you aren't dating you are undateable. The market will tell you.

That is the reality for guys. Everything that I've written here is undeniably true. And yet, years on from this sub-reddit being created, I still see people (largely female, I assume) trying to argue against it. What does it matter if they argue or don't argue against it. It's not going to change the reality of things. Either compete harder or don't play the game. I never understand these takes maybe it's because I am much more competitive than most I guess. So many people wish the world was a c…
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/23 01:22 PM
3

It's a pointless discussion because you aren't going to change peoples behavior. This is is the single biggest problem on reddit it's filled with people who wish the world was a certain way instead of seeing the world for what it is. Locus of control is the single most important thing you can learn in life.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/23 02:53 PM
1

The people who think this are the ones with nothing going on with their lives. Life is a status game it is human nature even by not participating you are still participating. Fwiw though this isn't just a male thing it's a low status thing. So many people on reddit want the world to be a certain way instead of understanding how the world really works. As someone who loves competition it absolutely boggles my mind how spinless some guys here are.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/11/23 03:01 PM
2

This situation is much more common than most red pill guys think. Personality is much more of a big deal than guys here want to believe. Looks are easy to change personality is not is probably why it isn't talked about.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/23 05:28 PM
2

I think it boils down to it is very hard to give people dating advice it something that should come very intuitive through proper socialization. I was successful dating before I got married. I don't say that as a brag because I have no idea what I was doing. Go to (insert social event) meet women go on date was my formula. As far as looksmaxing went like every guy I knew was hitting the gym just because it was obvious this was important. You didn't need to read 100 RP books to figure this out. I…

How has that anything to do with red pill? Them literally having a red pill flair lol.

Are you having a meltdown right now because you learned there are guys out there who have a social life outside of work lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/11/23 03:44 PM

Reading comprehension not your strong suit I see: You: Your entire social circle goes to the same workplace as you ? Me: None of the people in my social circle are from work You: Proceeds to have a meltdown and calls me a liar because you can't comprehend that adult men have a robust social circle outside of work.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/11/23 03:41 PM

Red Pill guys are so out of touch from reality you are now lying if you have a healthy social life after school. Never even knew what the term chad was but I feel like King Chad here comparing my life to some of the RP guys here.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/11/23 03:38 PM
2

It's so funny how out of touch you red pill guys are. You don't think anyone can have friends who aren't co-workers. You guys are so socially inept that you create fake narratives of other successful guys. I absolutely love hanging out with this young guys at work for anime and drinks WTF is this quote?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/11/23 03:34 PM
2

Lol talk about a projection. I don't hang out with any of my co-workers. Don't get mad at others because we have social lives. No wonder you guys are so angry.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/11/23 03:28 PM
3

Look, I will not be looking for those one in a million Ok thanks you could've saved us the rant. Plenty of good women out there it's just most of you aren't ever going to cross paths socially or status wise with them.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/11/23 03:26 PM

A large and healthy social circle. Now stop being Pedantic Pete and answer the question.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/11/23 03:24 PM

What kind of adult man doesn't have a robust social circle after school?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/11/23 03:20 PM

You have multiple posts complaining about women's preferences? Why do you give a shit if you are not interested in these women?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/11/23 03:17 PM
6

Don't really understand the anger and confusion here. If you don't want to date shitty women don't date shitty women. I wanted to date good looking women who had their shit together so guess who I am happily married too. It's quite a simple process. I'll never for the life of me understand why guys here are arguing about and with women they don't want to date? Can someone please explain this to me?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/11/23 03:03 PM
1

It would be a silly insult to say to happily married man. I am not really even judging this women because men here do it all time too. People are delusional about their status in the dating game.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/23 05:09 PM

She's probably going after guys who aren't attracted to her. There really isn't much to the dating thing. Boggles my mind how complicated (both men and women) makes this. It's so utterly confusing to me.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/23 04:58 PM
1

You have just described a vast majority of redditors. Look at this place. Incel/Red Pill guys see one viral tiktok of a girl who wont go on an ice cream date and think all girls are nuts. Or they see someone get a bad rejection and think anytime they approach a girl the cops are going to get called.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/23 04:06 PM

Most women do no care about these men at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/23 06:10 PM

I was disagreeing with you so I don't know how you are agreeing with me?

/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/23 04:04 PM

I wish you a lot of luck if you think this is going to work. I am glad I took the total opposite approach when I was dating regularly and it worked wonders for me. Who knows though maybe you are going to be the master seducer guy who can charm any women who doesn't have initial interest. I simply took the path of least resistance and moved onto the next girl who was actually interested and there was some initial chemistry. What do I know though I am not selling PUA courses I am just happily marr…
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/23 04:02 PM

The problem is that they don't have "social experience" so they take the advice of LARPing Red Pill/PUA types because the information makes them feel good. There could be a million reasons why you approach a women and they are not interested one thing I learned very early on was to eject and move onto the next girl. Seriously so many guys fall into this PUA/Red Pill bullshit and think they are going to be able to seduce anyone. It's so utterly asinine and not how anything works in the real world…
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/23 03:59 PM

This place sometimes feels like I have been transported to a foreign planet. Every single one of me and my friends from college is either married now or in serious relationships. Being a late bloomer meant being a virgin as a college freshman. I am just assuming a lot of the guys here were probably loners growing up because the peer/social pressure alone made you get your shit together as far it came to women.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/23 12:38 AM
1

People don't understand no one is the asshole in these situations. You can break up with someone for whatever reasons. It obviously wasn't going to work between no harm no foul.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/23 08:46 PM
1

If you are 27 and a virgin I think there is going to be a list of things more depressing than finally having sex with someone who has 3 past boyfriends lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/23 08:44 PM
1

It's because red-pill/incels (these are interchangeable) are the worst people to deal with online. Almost all of them are simply projecting. If they truly were red pill they wouldn't care about a place like this. The guy got made at me because I told him no he is not being forced to have sex with fat women lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/23 06:48 PM

His positing history is hilarious he literally was complaining he was being forced to have sex with fat woman. I told him no that is not true and then he went off with usual psuedo-larping alpha male insults.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/23 06:43 PM

Just had a red pill guy block me because he didn't like getting called out. Not very alpha!
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/23 06:35 PM
1

I will now wait for whatever psuedo red pill fake alpha insults you have at the ready since you are so terminally online and have such experience in this realm instead of you know living a fulfilling life. Wow I nailed it lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/23 06:30 PM

I am happily married run my own business and a former collegiate athlete. I am the guy you wish you were. All your insults are just projections of your own sad little pathetic life. I mean you literally were just bitching about your ex-wife. Move on brother. All your insults are just things you hate about yourself. In order for insults to be effective they need to be true. Which is why mine strike such a nerve to you.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/23 06:08 PM

You literally have multiple posts about being "forced" to fuck fat woman. I can't imagine being a single guy going on reddit and complaining about this. Back in my day we went out and met women. Not bitched about fat woman on reddit. Your entire posting history is red pill nonsense and whining and bitching. Be a man.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/23 05:55 PM

Yes I am the one with my panties in a bunch. You literally went off about how men are "forced" to have sex with fat women lol. You red pillers are so insecure it's hilarious.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/23 05:46 PM

You said "force" nobody is "forcing" anyone to have sex with anyone. You probably should care much less what people say. It's probably why you are so upset.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/23 05:43 PM

Nobody is trying to do that lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/23 05:37 PM

I often wonder how many guys problems here are simply because of low testosterone levels that are impacting their unattractive behaviors.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/23 05:35 PM
1

45% of men age 18-25 have never approached a single women so yes this actually is pretty good advice. "In b4 I am going to get arrested if I approach a girl"
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/23 04:19 PM
1

Very funny because I had a friend just like this. Completely average guy. Would literally approach every good looking girl at every party/bar/etc. Got rejected a ton did not give a single fuck and ended up with girls way out of his league sometimes. Ended up marrying a gorgeous wife and is an incredibly successful in sales now. (Which makes a lot of sense)
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/23 04:17 PM

You have touched on something that is very interesting to me here. I see so many guys whining nowadays about hard work and what not. When I and my friends were in college/post-grad our drives was so high we gave 0 fucks about how much work was going to be required all we were focused on was meeting women. Never met a dude who really wanted to fuck who just gave up. Funnily enough there was a guy who did a famous Iama about being a sex addict on reddit back in the day and he gave some of the grea…

So many people misinterpret "bad boy" or "dark triad" personality research in dating. It isn't the anti-social behaviors that make these guys attractive but the positive byproducts of these behaviors. For all the negatives they will be more confident, focus intently on looks/fitness (we see this all the time with Narcissism), and be extremely risk averse (approach more women). Also a lot of pyscho/sociopaths aren't actually anti-social in real life. Deep down they are but the are extremely attun…

/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/23 11:39 PM

Most women I dated put in 10x the amount of effort than I ever did. The only work for a man is simply approaching a women. I swear have any of these red pillers even dated a women. Some of this stuff is so bizarre.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/23 08:00 PM

This is the single most realistic post I have read in this subreddit. Red Pillers have this bizarre fantasy of how dating works in the real world because most of them

Outside of plastic surgery none of that stuff is rich people shit. I literally did all that as a broke college student.

People are dumb what is new. You don't need a psych degree to figure that one out.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/23 05:18 PM

The thing is you can learn this same lessons from non-fiction. I read a phenomeal book by one of the top researchers in the field of attraction and relationships. There was advice like you stated above (which is good advice) but also had a ton of other great advice that was backed by research. I guess what I am saying is just go to the source instead of trying to find answers in fiction.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/23 05:14 PM

It honestly not shocking how you were so easily influenced when you have had multiple people who tell you how ridiculous this is now and you staying defiant. This personality trait has probably spilled over into your lack of dating success.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/23 05:00 PM

You don't understand fiction lol

Literally two posts below you.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/23 04:32 PM

Nothing funnier than people blaming ficitional movies for the lack of success in dating. Then following advice from Red Pill guru who have fictional dating success. Great irony there.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/23 04:26 PM

Plenty of us watched these movies and understood they were movies. How did you not look around you in the real world and understand who was getting women?

You posed a research paper and came to different conclusions than the authors who wrote the paper. I don't know how I can explain this any simpler to you little fella.

Read the damn paper YOU POSTED holy shit why do I even bother with you red pill idiots. If you think anti-social is going to increase your luck be my guest be my guess little fella.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/23 04:15 PM

Yes there are are a ton of studies on the dark triad behaviors and all of them come to the same conclusions. The anti-social behaviors aren't what women find attractive but the confidence, risk-taking (ie simply approaching more women), and locus of control tend to be successful in short term mating scenarios. In the same research and from a few authors who you have linked also go on to say these are disastrous for LTR success. Once again please link me a specific paper that shows specific anti-…

I have seen this exact study before and it isn't the anti-social behaviors that the women found attractive. One of the authors of the study even said this because the study has been so miscontrued. You know more than the person who conducted the study?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/23 04:00 PM

Wow this is peak red pill posting a study and coming a conclusion that is totally opposite of the actual researchers conclusions. I advise you to actually read more than the abstract. Seriously lol.

And two… adding to the point that women themselves wants a man that gets women… lots of them. What does this have to do with anything. I wouldn't want to date a women who gets 0 attention from other guys?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/23 03:43 PM
1

Women do not find anti-social behaviors attractive at all. Thank you for reassuring my opinion of how dumb the red pill is if you think this.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/23 03:42 PM

It is pretty fucking weird to be a kiss less virgin after a certain age. The women is going to pick the other guys because there is obviously physical or social deficiencies going on. The other guy is probably much more socially skilled. Don't know why you think this is controversial lol?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/23 03:39 PM
1

Some of you have obviously never been in a relationship with someone you truly care about. There is a lot of pornbrain going on with this comment. Great sex is as much emotional as it is physical. Yes even for men.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/23 03:34 PM
1

If this truly is recommended by red pill then great. I think it is a fantastic book. The problem I am seeing is people going red pill and trying to adopt anti-social behaviors.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/23 03:27 PM
1

I literally just said they were doing fine dating but just had a bad rejection or bad breakup. Everything Red Pill is the antithesis of how to win friends and influence people.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/23 03:16 PM

95% of the books recommended by TRP are going to make you worse at dating. I have friends who were doing perfectly fine dating got rejected or had a bad breakup went full red pill and can't get a date for the life of them now.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/23 03:12 PM

Women prefer men who are very social. Most of the problem with guys who aren't complete gargoyles is their lack of social skills. A fair amount of incels aren't even that ugly or could improve their looks pretty easily. Their social skills are disastrous OTOH. This is why the red pill is so disastrous for many of them.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/23 03:08 PM

I totally agree with this. There are people who understand what dating is like in the real world and then there are people on PPD who believe in terms of Red Pill/Blue Pill dynamics. Unless I live on a completely different planet some of the stuff people talk about wrt to dating is utterly baffling to me.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/23 02:49 PM
1

It's the single biggest problem in the red pill space. Far bigger problem than looks.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/10/23 02:08 AM
1

Deep down sociopaths are this way but on the outside they are very good are portraying prosocial behaviors.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/23 07:21 PM
1

Over-reprensented does not mean it is the majority. Even then sociopaths are actually extremely good at adopting pro-social traits on the outside to get where the want to be.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/23 07:16 PM
1

Care to elaborate?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/23 07:13 PM

A blue pilled guy is so much easier to salvage than someone who swallows the red pill. There is nothing more detrimental to your social/dating/career life than adopting a lot of the antisocial behaviors exhibited by red pill guys. It's the blind leading the blind on those subreddits too with how much LARPing goes on. Some of the stuff is hilarious from the outside looking in but sad if people actually adopt the behaviors.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/23 07:05 PM

One of the most important things in social dynamics both dating and friendship is proximity. It's probably one of the most overlooked concepts on this subreddit. When I lived in my hometown I had to put basically 0 effort to have a thriving social. I moved to a different city and all of the sudden I had to put in a ton of work. There is no point in worrying about it though. I wanted to have active social and dating life. I could complain about how easier it was back in my hometown or simply go d…
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/23 06:58 PM
1

It's moreso a proximity thing. If you are intelligent odds are you are going to be around other intelligent people. That's why college is such an amazing place to date and it doesn't get much easier after that.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/23 07:56 PM
1

No because it would throw off ratios.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/23 06:36 PM
1

I think you are the perfect example. It is much easier to go from an overweight blue pill and get a relationship. Than an average looking redpill to get a relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/23 06:29 PM
1

This is always struck me as somewhat strange. It's amazing how many of the younger guys I know who don't socialize. When I was young and single you went out all the time in mixed groups of guys and gals. I don't think think looks are as big of a problem than most guys simply being very antisocial.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/23 06:08 PM
1

Antisocial behavioral traits is probably a bigger problem in the incel/ppd/red pill community than looks. Not saying looks don't matter but if have antisocial behavioral traits and no social you are doomed in dating.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/23 06:07 PM
1

When is the last time red pill has won an argument. They both have a few things right mixed in with heaps of bullshit.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/23 03:18 PM

You can disagree with this study and that is fine it wasn't really all that methodologically, We do have robust data showing men prefer longer hair on women at pretty substantial differences. I don't know what "comfortability" has to do with anything
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/23 03:13 PM
1

N-1. There are plenty of studies looking at women with short hair and long hair and the long haired version was preferred at almost at 70%. I don't really care about personal anecdotes.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/23 03:03 PM

It was just a study that popped up in the psych reddit. but there are also some women with head/face shapes that actually work better with short hair than with long. True but this is the exception to the rule. There are a lot of studies showing men prefer longer hair on women.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/23 02:49 PM

"Highly competitive women are more likely to recommend shorter haircuts to other women, potentially to diminish the physical attractiveness of their romantic rivals, according to new research."
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/23 02:41 PM

I don't make a moral conclusion about people because of this we all do stuff like this.

I am in America most women are not like the ones you see go viral on TikTok get off the internet your brain is wrecked.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/10/23 03:19 PM
1

I guess I put very little stock in what people say in life. I am much more interested in actions. People lie all the time even with they aren't intentionally doing it. Subconscious Biases run our lives It's like the OK Cupid personality/attractiveness graph.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/10/23 03:17 PM
1

No it's just your brains are wrapped by availability bias on TikTok. The most outlandish people always get the most views.

If someone doesn't want to date you they don't want to date you why does it matter? Even the main person talks about how it is a numbers game until you find the right person. I totally embraced the numbers game idea when I was younger. Date as many women as possible if they aren't interested move on. No hard feelings. I finally met a great gal eventually and we have been happily married awhile now. I had way to many friends who were way too emotional and would try and spend a ton of time convinc…

What's always shocked me is how upset people get at other's preferences. I come from a research based background so this place is fascinating. People aren't consciously choosing who they find attractive a lot of that is our biological desires. Perfect example is that OkCupid graph it clearly illustrates the Halo Effect. That people we find attractive we often put good personality traits on. You see this on weight loss subs too people are always amazed how much better they are treated once they l…

Great point I don't know why I argue with incels. It's such a lost cause. Better you all just whine and moan among yourselves.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/23 05:33 PM
1

You are mad you got called out for whining and bitching. There is not enough men telling other men on this subreddit to quit whining and get your shit together. Women aren't going to change their preferences.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/23 05:21 PM
1

I am utterly confused by you and incels. I'm really trying to wrap my head around how someone could possibly care about the dating patterns of people they have no interest in.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/23 05:13 PM
1

Doing your job? Who employs you to fight this "hypocrisy?" Attractive people are always going to date attractive people. High value people are going to date high value people. Oh no people lie. Wait till your learn Santa Claus isn't real.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/23 05:11 PM
1

Yes precisely I could care less about Amber Heard this is probably the first time I have even thought about her.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/23 05:09 PM
1

Just say you wish women would date uglier men. This is 99% of the whining by incels. They are upset women don't want to date them.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/23 05:06 PM
1

Lol have a nice day. Maybe one day you'll get enough brain power to work google scholar. I think there is an IQ issue on the subreddit as much as dating issue.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/23 05:05 PM
1

You and incels here never cease to amaze. It's the living embodiment of the horseshoe theory. Why do you care about guys you don't want to date and why do incels care about women they don't want to date?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/23 05:04 PM
1

You wrote a multiple point paragraph whining and bitching about something and then had the audacity to I don't really care about it. The lack of self-awareness from some of you here never ceases to amaze. What groundbreaking facts did you tell us. That attractive people want to date attractive most of us learned this is middle school.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/23 05:02 PM
1

No I like calling out peoples bullshit. You said most philosophy degrees are nepo babies and that research doesn't factor in SES status. You literally could've spent two seconds on google scholar to see that was wrong. Instead you have nothing better to say so you are now making no points at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/23 05:00 PM
1

Who gives a fuck? Why do you care? No one ever answers these questions for me. You clearly do care if you felt the need to write a long winded paragraph about it.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/23 04:54 PM
1

What does it matter if they care about personality or not. They don't want to date you so the why is meaningless.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/23 04:50 PM
1

I know you are not the brightest tool in the shed but you can on google scholar pretty easily and find degree earnings when SES is factored in. All this is probably too difficult for you though so better to live with your head in the sand.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/23 04:46 PM
1

You can whine all you want it won't make women date you. This is the fundamental thing you guys don't understand. So what if the fat chick has too high of standards you don't want to date her and the hot blonde doesn't want to date you. After all the bitching and moaning you are still at step 1. I can also guarantee you unequivocally your time would of been better off doing something more productive.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/23 04:43 PM
1

Uh yea you dunce it's one of the first things they do because it would skew the data too much. Christ some of you are dumb here.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/23 04:40 PM
1

You think research is that stupid that they don't control for SES factors.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/23 04:35 PM

The funniest thing about redpill is multiple moderators have been exposed as not leading very red pill lives or just being LARPing incels. The married red pill subreddit is high comedy. It's the blind leading the blind. Also you can simply just look up degree and career earnings philosophy degrees have high earnings.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/23 04:33 PM

I wonder if there is a blackpill community that is made up of people who are trying to maximize what they do have without falling into hopelessness. You just described the majority of men who are dating. There's no less than millions of high school college age guys in gym across the country. It's always been the funniest part of the "red pill" to me. It's literally stuff most guys I know learned in middle school. You kind of miss the point on genetics though It's not only physical. Genetics affe…
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/23 03:28 PM

But if people overall worked on themselves dating would be a bit easier. Some people understand this some people don't. It's the sad reality of life. The people who don't will spend their lives bitching about it on message boards. This place is filled with obese women and incel men who will scream at each-other about unreasonable standards of people they don't want to date. Instead of simply working on themselves.

39% of Women are single 39% of Men are single. That means 71% of the population of both sexes are in relationships. Basic statistics shatters a lot of the dumb talking points here.

The biggest problem is that you can't take away personality from attraction. The Halo Effect is one of the most studied and held up things in social sciences. We attribute good personality characteristics to people who are good looking. This creates a problem for both red pillers and blue pillers. Red Pillers hear this and think personality doesn't matter at all. Wrong. Blue Pillers are probably naive on how much attraction biases our perception on personality. I think the problem with this subr…
/r/PurplePillDebate16/10/23 06:20 PM

I have seen recent data (I'll try and find it) and it holds up pretty well. It's a very uncomfortable topic for researchers though for a number of reasons I can assume you can decipher.

Ignorance is bliss I suppose. The guys on here are absolutely delusional though my advice is to run far far away from this place. It's going to give you so many bullshit fears. I approached a lot of women in my dating days 99.99% of all rejections (and they will happen) were completely harmless. The .01% were more humorous than anything. You need to read the room a little bit though. I wouldn't approach women wherever. Getting rejected sucks but the pros vastly outweigh. You don't want to end up…

Guy is having a meltdown here because guys have to put in more effort to get laid find a partner. Back when I was in the dating market we didn't even think of this shit all we wanted to do was find attractive women. Half the fun was the chase and competing with other guys. What has happened to men these days? Need to put testosterone in the water supply or something.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/23 05:21 PM

I am not playing dumb people like you who think women are the only ones lying and manipulating in the dating game are dumb.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/23 05:14 PM

How were people lied to about it when reality was there the whole time? Did you not see who was dating who and put two and two together who find women want to date?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/23 05:13 PM
1

I have such a fundamental hard time understanding why guys here get mad about what women's preferences are. It literally breaks my brain lol. I am saying this as a guy as well. Preferences are biological what good does getting upset about it do?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/23 04:59 PM

99% of that subreddit boils down to this. All the questions are "why doesn't so and so like me" who gives a fuck move on.

I don't know what the men here are. It's nobody I have ever encountered.

Actual Red Pill Advice: Get Jacked. Get your shit together. Stop worrying about others opinions. PPD "Red Pillers:" Spend 9 hours a day on reddit forums complaining and screaming about how overweight women have too high of standards.

People here both men and women are probably not average looking. If they were they wouldn't be bitching constantly. 95% of this place is incels and obese women screaming at other. 5% of us are here like we are a the zoo.

If you are acting abnormal you are no longer attractive. Christ some of you are dense.

Yes they do. If the hot blonde at work is all over you you don't care. If it's the mongoloid from HR you are filing a sexual harassment claim. Don't be so dense.
