Y'all height and muscles aren't the only factor at play, if it were, natural selection would already have removed every short and weak man from the gene pool. Similarly, top NBA players don't get there JUST because of genetics. You could have the best genetics in the world, if you don't bust your ass trying to get there, someone who's more hardworking will get there. A woman has no way of knowing how you got there, what parts is genetics, what part is grits and determination. Now you could even …

Yeah it's easy to fall into ranking your plates, and to be honest, you'll always have a subconscious "ranking", and tend to invest more in better plates. It does make sense to a certain extent, but as soon as you start over-investing, you get the opposite reaction from her, which is what's happening right now for you. If you are overbearing, it signals lack of options, clinginess, low value and all the like. You've already identified the issue: you have nothing else to do. Simple fix: get back o…

Yup, lots of truth in this post again. I totally agree on the hyper awareness part as well. I thought of a poker analogy yesterday: You have a hand, the opponent has a hand. Now in poker, when you talk you have to wonder "how does this move (call/raise/fold) make me look in this situation"/"What range of hands will my opponent put me on?". If you raise, you might generally look strong, but if you raise in a spot where it doesn't make sense (opponent has the nuts, opponent has blockers, the story…

Same, I've found that the hot/cold is a great way to get a girl to chase you. The saddest part is I don't even plan it. I just see the good in people in general, and then they disappoint me by their actions. Women are no different. I get disappointed and see how limited they are, so I lose interest and reject them. Triggers them to chase even more to gain that bit of validation that felt so good when they had it. Then sprinkle some up/down/sideways shit, make her dance, be unpredictable, she'll …

Re-writing that after reading some replies to give better feedback. I've been in a similar situation, except the girl was aggressively flirting with me (still covertly though), and had plans to monkey-branch to me when she was done with her relationship (logistics, co-dependant relationship, very intertwined situation). I left the circle on my own accord, then tried to make her covertly understand I wasn't going to wait around, but she kept playing around. Then I confronted her and told her: mak…

It's not "bad" to caller her out on her BS, quite the contrary. If you reward her bad behavior, and let her get away with crossing your boundaries, you will get stomped on, disrespected and cheated on/dumped. The whole point is to be yourself. If something bothers you, say it. If she crosses a boundary, who cares about "making her feel uncomfortable". From experience, she will respect you much more when you put your foot down. It's part of the shit tests, it's part of her nature, she will push y…

Very good points. I'd also like to add that you pigeon hole yourself as alpha or beta throughout the whole process of interacting with her. I've had women first put me in the beta/provider category with a hint of alpha (I look good and have social status, but I'm not on chad levels, so I'd get sexual attention, but not alpha induced levels of arousal). By upping alpha traits (getting fitter, becoming more confident, not taking shit and calling them out on their bs, emotional rollercoaster), they…

Actually dodged someone fitting that exact description, and she already did so much damage in my former social circle that I'm glad I didn't push it to a relationship and got away in time. Comes back to a simple principle in life: if it looks too good to be true, it's because it's not true. The love-bombing, soulmate bullshit, obsessive affection and all that jazz is a first big red flag. This is why as a man, you should derive all sense of self-worth and happiness from yourself. Never, ever fal…

After reading this, I realize that I did this without really thinking about it. And the deeper I connected and the more assertive I was at setting boundaries, the more they were invested in me. It came naturally to me because of growing up close to a sister, I realized early on that I would not put up with disrespect from a woman, and that dealing with my sister had basically made me immune to women's manipulations. That's the dichotomy of it all I believe: being able to develop a deep emotional…

That's why it's important to understand the essence of what people try to describe as alpha. Alpha is just a label, a concept. You cannot learn a set of behavioral rules that would "make you alpha". You are alpha when you stop wondering if what you do is alpha. Everyone has their definition. Some people will tell you that you have to be the fittest. Others will say you have to add value to the world. Others will see being alpha as living your life the way you want to live it, regardless of exter…

You know what to do: get your diet on track, hit the gym, develop your skills and keep advancing your career. The first thing you did after moving to a new city was to immediately start dating. At least that gave you a sense of where your value was in the dating marketplace, but breaking up and moving to a new city gives you the opportunity to use the extra time and freedom to keep growing and increasing your SMV. As a guy on Tinder, you have to be on the tip of the iceberg, physically speaking,…

Sounds very close to spiritual concepts in a lot of ways, I like that perspective. When you operate from the mind, and from that pre-established algorithm of "If they say this, I should say that", you trap yourself in a box. When you run into an unknown branch, the entire program crashes. There is something so freeing about diving into the unknown, and I feel this way about everything in life now. I used to over-plan and over-analyze everything in my life. The slightest sense of uncertainty woul…

Keep working for it. Meanwhile, look at it like a motivation, flip it in your head as: "That's where I want to be in x years and I'll do everything I can for that. I'll even surpass them". Then you just grind. Don't get your ego involved when they share their successes/good times. Flip it in your head as "These people are part of my life, and I will try to learn from them". You could ask them questions about what they do, how their days go, the books they read, the habits they have... Not in a d…

I like the metaphor of moths being attracted to a lightbulb. The more you shine and the more success you have, the more you attract people. Some of them will add genuine value to your life (rare), but most of them will want to be associated with you for the ripple effect on their own image (which then translates in their self-worth, because they base it on external factors). Some of them will want to extract value from you. Others will simply try to poison you, or try to break your confidence. A…

I've realized that so many men actually do not have that simple power. And women know that, which means that they literally look like they have just seen a ghost when you actually leave or go no contact with them. As if that course of action was something she didn't even think was possible, especially if she is hot and gets tons of male attention. It really flips the script in her head to realize you will actually walk away, and it gives you all the power. The only thing you need for that is to …

Girls always blaming their exes for everything that was wrong in their relationship too. If she has been in several relationship, and it always ended "because of their ex", that's a big red flag. Either she cannot keep a guy longer than the honeymoon phase, or she attracts assholes or brings it out of them.

It's a game to some women, to see how far they can push you or try to get under your skin. They intuitively know that if they can get a rise out of you, and if they can bring you into their emotional roller coaster, they'll be able to manipulate you very easily. That's why it is so important to be detached, stoic, and to rise above these emotions, and observe the exchange as if it were 2 strangers interacting. The best solution however, is to cut women resorting to these tactics as soon as you s…

Rollo Tomassi has talked about female solipsism, and this is the factor at play here. To quote Rollo, himself quoting u/STARVE_THE_BEAST on TRP: [...] The difference is that women don’t place as much value on Truth as they do upon self-preservation, and therefore their reasoning processes do not abort when self-contradiction is reached. They’ll just rationalize their way out of that too, if exposed [...] Everything a woman does is for her own self-preservation, even if that means bending the tru…

The part about women self regulating is very true. Had a similar situation happen to me with a girl. One of the girl's acquaintances went to me to enquire about it. At first she acted shocked, and as time went by and as she observed the other girl more, she put two and two together and understood the REAL story. Women are incredibly good at seeing through other women's BS, but orbiters and the mob in general will side with the PC version of the innocent, loyal, victim girl who is oppressed by ev…

I think it all comes back to the Fixed Mindset and the Growth Mindset. I realized that most people have a fixed mindset: they follow the path of least resistance and see where it takes them. Then they backwards rationalize about why they are not where they want to be, or why their situation is "fine". Some of them will even flip it around and make it look like having a growth mindset is a disease. Having a growth mindset is like taking a pen, a piece of paper, writing down what you want to achie…

Dude, you should be THRILLED about what's to come. The truth of it is that it's a grind. All of these guys you see around you, in their early 20s, wasting their time, still blue pilled, living in a Disney fantasy and expecting to meet their soulmate... All of these guys will probably realize what you realize now in 20 years, after a failed marriage and having to pay child support for their kids, and they will be in a much more dire situation. You recently graduated from uni, worked and made mone…

The root might be deeper actually. It feels like internally, or subconsciously, you are still looking for some "blue pill" aspects in a relationship with girls. I'm basing this off of you saying "you cannot have a "normal" relationship with girls". What is "normal"? I think normal in this context is what you (and most of us) used to believe was possible. Some kind of deep connection with a girl you share a lot of things with, lots of interests, have great times with, who almost feels like a best…

I just have one thing to contribute about the asian results: having dated a chinese girl, she openly admitted to me (and I think it's no secret, really), that scoring a "white guy" was seen as a very good thing in China. I also got a lot of interest from girls in Thailand, as well as Singapore, so I think there definitely is a bias when you are a white guy in an asian market (I'm assuming you're caucasian, I might be wrong). I know the culture in other asian countries might differ. But the diffe…

Totally agree with the "way to the top" being lonely. I've reached that transition where I've decided to really push, grind, and improve myself more and more, and I've had to distance myself from people recognizing I had potential and trying to manipulate me and keep me close for their personal benefit. Once you cut these people out, but you are not yet at the top, it is very lonely indeed. I'd rather have it that way than surrounding myself with mediocre people I can't relate to anyway and just…

I've had it in the past when I was not as confident and when I was aimlessly wandering through life. I find that oneitis isn't so much about the girl, as it is about guys trying to find an "escape" from day to day life, into some kind of Disney fantasy of a perfect girl that will solve all of their issues. So they idealize a girl and see that girl being the solution to their unhappiness. You can't develop oneitis when you have a good sense of who you are, where you are going in life, self-respec…

I've seen you replied to my other comment as well, but I don't really know what you are calling "sex peak". It's known that physically speaking, women peak in their early 20s and slowly decline starting from their late 20s and onwards. Now, they might get more sexual experience with time, so it's not to say that sex with an older woman won't be as good, it might be even better, but her physical attractiveness won't be at the same level. Testosterone levels are indeed highest at 18, but they are …

I think that last paragraph is spot on. Acting from an emotional frame makes it way more difficult for them to pass up on short-term pleasures and emotions they will be able to have when they are young, thanks to all the attention they are getting. Settling in their early 20s means that they will miss this short-term fun, but they will be rewarded long-term if they make the right choice. Most girl solve this issue by going for the fun in their early 20s and trying to settle before they turn 30. …

The power these women yield in their early 20s when they don't have the maturity to use it properly can turn against themselves pretty quickly. I've seen women thinking that they were still on top of the world when they were pushing 30 or 40, and having the same level of entitlement as women 10-20 years younger. Absolutely unrealistic expectations, constantly trying to re-validate themselves through social media to check that they "still got it". Sadly, any decent looking woman will get likes on…

No problem! I just have one recommendation for the bit about decision making: Garry Kasparov's book: "How life imitates chess". I don't know if you're into chess, the book is not really technical in itself, but it draws parallels between making decisions at the chess board and making decisions in life. He draws the parallel between tactics and strategy for example. Tactics are short-term plans to make improvements, and strategies are a long-term goal. In chess terms, forcing a sequence of moves …

Stoicism can help, but generally speaking you're capable of introspection without any training or guidance. It's simply about questioning yourself. What am I doing? WHY am I doing it? What are my weaknesses? How can I improve? What mistakes have I made? What did I learn from these mistakes? Am I being truthful and honest with myself about my skill in this/that? Where am I at in life? Am I hiding from uncomfortable truths? Are there fears/insecurities I'm running away from? It's basically about c…

I feel like a lot of it has to do with how seduction works. The same way looks are what attracts a man, a woman will generally push forward her "best" personality traits, or at least ACT like it is who she is. Just enough to attract the man she wants to attract and lock him down if she can. Comes back to the "she only behaves as good as she NEEDS to", and that whole "pretending" aspect of it makes a lot of sense, especially in the era of social media: it is super easy to pretend like you have ce…

Ideally, you need both. I've had heavy lifting phases, and because of Covid I mostly do bodyweight and dumbbells at home now. There is one good thing about getting strength: you can lift heavier shit for more reps than if you never did strength, simply because the weight that was once "heavy" is now light to you. Which means you can increase volume, you can have a higher mechanical tension, and generate an overall higher metabolic stress, which will lead to more muscle growth (assuming nutrition…

There's a time and place for everything. Young men with poor social skills need to develop said social skills via interaction, which means that monk mode is not necessarily the way to go. Men who already have social skills but are in a position where they need to grind in order to get to the next level, achieve goals, improve their financial situation, get fitter, know themselves better, could benefit from monk mode. I actually find monk mode useful when you're ALREADY getting people's attention…

It's literally like trying to communicate with an alien. You explain things in a rational, A to B way to them. Argument, example, transition to next argument, conclusion about why what she did was bad.... And she replies with a hissy fit and a personal attack. I do believe that their brain "sees" and "understands" the logic, but as SOON as it understands it, it generates a strong negative emotion (guilt, feeling bad about what they did, shame...), and the next process latches on that negative em…

Precisely, and that's the difference between a man and a boy. A man will challenge himself to improve, reach goals, and embrace discomfort, as he has understood that suffering is the way towards growth and progress. A boy will make millions of excuse to stay comfortably where he is sitting, and backwards rationalize (like a woman, really) why he is where he's at, and blame everyone else but himself.

I remember I had trouble understanding why women would send so many signs, even in an obsessive way at times, but never, ever make a move. If you lack initiative, it can be maddening, but she's basically dangling the fruit in front of your nose and saying "If you want it, come and get it". And even when you make the move after they've shown TONS of interest, they still have the prerogative of rejecting you (which is often a shit test if they've shown very high levels of interest).

Oh yeah, been there, had that happen to me. When you diss enough of these women, they'll gang up and turn the public opinion against you. And if they have the slightest bit of influence, they'll have thousands of people, mostly beta simps blindly following them, hating on you. Women always control the narrative because of blue pilled men's weakness. They always get to say what's what, and the army of orbiters in need of validation will go along with that version. Eversince I've stopped giving a shit about what people think about me, and just speaking my mind, no matter who I offend, female attention has ramped up a lot. People will give you shit, and if you go all out, people will talk in your back, exclude you even, but it's you these women will want. You could always keep your true status as lowkey as possible at first (aka: no visible signs of being rich/successful). They'll quickly find out however. I think it's more about being aware that it's a factor that will always attract women, and to only invest your resources in a woman if you are getting good value in exchange (you define what good value is for you).

Very true. I used to believe that women could see "big potential", and would want to snatch a guy up when she really believes he can be successful (as long as he is in the process and already has something to show for it). Nope. If it doesn't benefit her right here, right now, no deal. If you can't provide value for her the second she is with you, no deal. Anger can be a very powerful motivator. Take a look at this section from David Goggins here. He talks about having a "mental rolodex" with all the people that wronged you or tried to fuck you over, and bring one to mind when you need more fuel to get through a tough situation or a tough workout. However, anger alone will not be enough. With time, people fade and what they said doesn't "hit as hard" because it's been so long. Do not get into a cycle of trying to create new situations that will fu…

Never overtly mention the red pill. The only instance I covertly let a girl who was stalking me know about the red pill was by adding videos to a playlist (she was stalking my social media hardcore), and that was AFTER i was done with her. She pushed her luck a bit too much, gaslighted/poison dripped me, presented herself as the prize and was way too narcissistic. With this new mindset (Do the hard work, especially when you don't feel like it) you'll actually begin to look forward to those moments when your mind is being a little bitch. Those moments are now opportunities to practice your new mindset. Exactly what I've realized over the years. Now, whenever my brain goes "Maaaaybe we could skip the workout today". You're challenging mainstream beliefs, and people will take it as a personal attack. At the moment, everything is catering to women. Every woman can pass as a victim and use the fact that other women have been oppressed to cry on social media. So as soon as you talk about men, they don't like that attention is no longer on them, and that their problems are not the only ones in the world. A lot of people identify with these beliefs as well. I can relate with this on a very deep level. I called it the "spectator's effect", or maybe "choice anxiety" would be a better word for it. I knew I had potential, I was smart, I understood everything quicker than everyone around me, good grades, very mature for my age... And I felt like I could do anything. From that, comes the question: "what do you REALLY want to do?". Being a dreamer myself, I'd rather fantasize about all of these possibilities than take action. Taking action almost felt lik…

We are wired to look for a partner that would make a good parent (when considering long term relationships, not very short term mating strategies). That's part of the reason why a lot of guys tend to be subconsciously attracted to some traits their mother has, and girls their father. There is also an evolutionary biology cause which is simply genetic. Genes' sole goal is to replicate themselves. Genes tend to prioritize the survival and replication of genes that are close to themselves. That's w…

Yup, I totally agree. If you look at a 9 or a 10, your brain doesn't go into "Oh, I'd marry that woman". You already wonder how many guys she has slept with, you wonder if she has a bad personality. I'm not saying it's always the case, but nature rarely gives perfect genes in all aspects. I like this economy mindset of supply and demand. It really does apply to intersexual relations as well. Different people value and look for different things in a partner, and your idea of what they want might not be accurate (lack of empathy, social intelligence, observation, like you said). The second you start being raw, assertive, dominant, taking no shit and even behaving like a complete dick, to the point of being ready to lose the girl... Definitely agree with the bold approach. However, some women flirt because they enjoy the attention and validation, but have no intention of going further. It's all about recognizing the context. If she is flirting with you, don't jump to the immediate conclusion that she wants something serious out of it. Women also spin plates the same way red pill guys do. It's like slipping back to bad habits at this point. There is nothing better than actually living it and going through it to be 100% sure about why the red pill is true. Yeah I totally understand that point of view. On the flipside however, you could commit to a girl just to have her go hypergamous on you and monkey branch to a higher value guy. There's no winner. When the relationship ends someone is going to get hurt, no matter how you flip it (unless it's mutual). But it's more honorable not to lead the girl on though, I agree with you on that.

There is a whole spectrum between a one night stand/casual sex and a life-long relationship though. You can decide you want to give a shot at a relationship without wanting to commit your whole life to that girl. But she might build the fantasy that you're "the one" in her mind. It's not necessarily misguiding her. Some guys want to be in a relationship and do "coupley" things, but don't want to say "I'll commit for life". The girl might make that part up in her mind, no matter what you tell her…

I've observed that second hand with a woman in a relationship with a guy that she literally had 0 reasons to be with. That girl was highly educated, young, beautiful, and fell in love with a guy living on the other side of the globe in his mom's basement. He was younger than her, no degree, no life skills, decent looking, and he was the only guy who didn't completely validate her in her social circle. She built a fairy tale with this guy, calling him "the one", and spreading this everywhere, lyi…

I've definitely made the mistake of saying too much at times, and my words have been used and flipped against me. I still don't regret it, because I didn't really mind the outcome in those situations anyway, but it was still a good lesson. People can always spin words and any overt communication to present you any way they want. Covert communication cannot really be transformed because you can always deny it even happened, or tell people they "got the wrong message". That's why women are so fick…

You know I read your other post yesterday, and I was about to make a post about "becoming/being who you are". But you pretty much did it here! Very good post OP. Be yourself, unapologetically. Doesn't mean you can't be a good person. Just don't fake shit to please people. All there is to know, really

I literally had that thought a few days ago. It seems like a switch flipped in my brain at some point, and no matter how good looking a woman is, even a 10/10 model, my brain will automatically find one thing. Just that one thing that is not "perfect". Her eyes might be slightly asymmetrical, her cheeks a bit too big, her forehead a bit too small. Anything. Once you've locked onto that, it's way easier to neg her.

Maybe it's simply about the way you behave in the actual relationship? Do you start compromising too much and breaking frame? Did you live together in the same house/flat (it's harder to maintain frame and stay alpha in a monogamous relationship because you need to set stronger boundaries and make sure you don't become co-dependent). Maybe they were missing the excitement as well. I find that because of feminist ideas, women take longer to realize the existence of the wall these days. They feel …

Yup, it all starts with how you internaly feel. Which is why being in a good place mentally is absolutely necessary before you can truly be charismatic and likeable. Most people feel miserable all the time. They always have "that" anxiety in the back of their mind, or issues to solves or whatever. When you become a breath of fresh air to them and can take them outside of their own head for a little while, through the way you talk, the experiences you share, the emotions you're able to convey, th…

About the job interview par: comes back to "women will only act as good as they need to". I've experienced this first hand with a woman in a relationship starting to completely change her personality to match mine. Even bought a whole ass treadmill and dumbbells to act "athletic" when she hates exercise. Started learning how to cook for the first time in her life (I meal prep). When I turned her down she completely stopped doing all that shit. She'll always act like who you want her to be, which…

This is more of a reply to the title: I've come to the same conclusion with a few variations. (I also address the post) A woman wants to experience herself through your lens of perception. In reality, she has no idea "who she is". When she changes her hair color, she feels like a whole new person, that's how transient a woman's personality is. She could be sucking someone in a club bathroom when she is 24 and acting like a prude when she's 26 because she needs to rebrand herself as a housewife. …

I've always wanted to camp in the snow for a few nights with the necessary stuff to survive, but I have 0 camping gear and I'm not in a situation where it would make sense to really invest in this at the moment. I've camped in the past, but never to the extent of being completely cut off from the world for more than a couple of days. I feel like this is something every man should experience at least once in their life, and I intend to do it when I'm able to.

HAHAHA the ending is fucking textbook women psychology, it's mad. I truly believe women have a mental tank for each man in their life. When you feed her attention and validate her, you fill up that tank. When it fills up she starts reacting positively, but when it's full, she pushes you away. The tank gets depleted over time and she magically comes back when it's empty.

The good thing when you are smaller is that a little muscle mass makes you look way bigger than the same muscle mass spread over a 6'+ body. It's easier to look big when you are smaller basically. Keep working out, stick to the basics at first, good nutrition, good workout etc... As you progress you might identify your strong and weak points, and take advantage of them. You might realize your arms are a strong point, and with the right fitting shirt, you'll instantly look big. You can turn it to…

It's interesting, because I've subconsciously acted quite red pilled with women (and everyone in general), but I only realized why it worked after actually discovering the red pill. One time, my mom did something shitty and made her partner (parents are divorced) a higher priority than us, her children, around Xmas. I don't remember the details, but I know that I looked at my sister and told her to drive me back to campus, and that I wouldn't take this shit from our mom, even if it was Christmas…

I've recently been listening to his book Extreme Ownership and listening to his podcasts on Youtube. Another guy along the same lines is David Goggins. Absolute monster of willpower and he dives really deep into the concepts of controlling your own mind, not caring about how other people view you, living above the "40% effort" that most people live at. I recommend watching his interviews on Youtube and understanding the ingredients of that sort of unbreakable mindsets, doing some soul searching,…

Very simple, just focus on yourself and your goals. You don't HAVE to pursue women. The simple fact that it is worrying you means that you have given it too much importance. Focus on your goals or set new ones if you're in a valley between two mountains so to say, and live your life. Women are just an addition to the rest of your life. And yes, once you understand their behavior, it's mostly like running an algorithm (in most cases). You might feel like revisiting in a while, there's just no urg…

It's not really "a world" in which you dive, but it is a deep understanding of what reality already is. It is a set of gradual shifts and then a brutal shift (awakening). Along the path, there can be feelings of depersonalization, and it's not always easy. But you will most likely not just sit there and do nothing, the game as it were, doesn't stop. So you can still meditate, contemplate and achieve your goals. Frank Yang said after his awakening that people are often scared to take the leap bec…

Alan Watts is the one that initially got me thinking about all of this a few years ago, and I dived into it more this year. His talks on YouTube are great tools and they're an eye opener. I love his book "Out of Your Mind" as well

I think it's mostly a matter of perspective, even though "I" haven't realized enlightenment, from what i can see from enlightened beings, they can as easily dive into emotions completely and thoroughly as they can detach from them. I cannot say for sure, because I don't have the full perspective of someone who reached the end of the path, but I understand what you mean

Exactly! Seeing through the illusion of it all reduces suffering, and gives a much better understanding of the world. Meditation helped me a lot as well

Yeah for sure. Spirituality is just one aspect of it all. It doesn't exclude physical and mental health, financial success and any other goal. It's just a framework really

I'd recommend listening to talks from Alan Watts on youtube, or reading his book "Out of Your Mind" if you can find it. Waking Up from Sam Harris is a good one about consciousness!

Yeah i did not want to get into spirituality itself, but point to the fruits you can get from diving into it. I wasn't sure if I was in a position to explain the concept of no-self and the illusion of good vs bad. I want people to look for themselves if it's something they are willing to dig into

Yeah I was about to recommend The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle, and also Out of Your Mind by Alan Watts. The latter is more of a combination of his talks, and you can find a lot of them on YouTube, but it gives you that Hindu vision of life as a game. Waking Up by Sam Harris is good too, and he has a great meditation app as well

The whole point of the post as I have described is the context from which you act. I'm not saying to use Buddhism as an approach or a topic of conversation. It's the mindset of impermanence, the illusion of the ego, life as a game, non identification with emotions and thought that lead you to naturally have better game, because you can zoom out
/r/TheRedPill24/12/20 07:08 PM

You can decide what you want to do with the knowledge you gain from spirituality, and that's the whole point. Some awakened beings come back to keep living real life, they just don't suffer anymore, because they see reality for what it is. How you apply this wisdom and these experiences is up to you.

Yeah, I know how paradoxical it all is. How all the efforts the Zen students makes to get "enlightened" is literally useless. How it's not something you can voluntarily or unvoluntarily achieve. That does sound interesting though, I'll give it a look!

Thanks for the feeback. I can see where you are coming from, but spirituality is often one of the aspects that's mentioned among the axes of development for any man in the community. I'm thinking about self-development: mental, emotional, physical, financial, path/career, spiritual. So it was more about exploring one of the sub-branches of the tree that is often brushed over. I don't know if another sub would be popular enough. About the amoral thing, at the end of the day, spirituality is amora…

Admittedly I do not know everything there is to know about Buddhism, but from what I understand the whole concept is to point to "it". The Truth that cannot be described or articulated. Beyond all concepts and words. Any word, tradition, dogma, "rules" of any religion are just landmarks, but they are not "it". People attaining "enlightenment" would traditionally either renounce everything or come back to society to lead other people on the path (gurus). I believe their name is "Boddhisatva". Hon…

Had this mindset shift recently, and i realized how the large majority of society actually feels threatened by success. People will root for you until you start going so far they start losing self-esteem because of your success. That's when they will try to take you down. In their mind, if you are too successful there "has to be" something wrong with you. No matter how they flip it, they'll find a way. I now just live with the mindset that people who deserve my respect represent a tiny slither o…

This first sentence is very true. I was talking with my dad a few days ago, and he told me: "My grandfather used to tell me: women are to men what snow is to mountain tops". (or waves to a cliff if you want to stay in the liquid domain). The harder she sees you, the more she wants to soften you. This is why having total control over your mind is absolutely necessary. You simply do not stop. They always come second, after your path and purpose.

There are degrees to it though. I've never considered myself a natural, and I've been unfit most of my life, but I always had the intuition that I never had to put up with women's demands and their shit tests. When a woman, no matter how good looking, started this sort of behavior, I instantly shut them down and stayed in my frame. However, I believed in the soul mate myth, and had severe oneitis, which came from a lack of experience, my upbringing and lack of abundance. All of this to say that …

The girl works around your schedule, not the other way around. Your schedule is fixed and it's up to you to decide how you organize your day to have the option of free time here and there. Very well written! Any new habit will be a challenge, and I find that it helps me a lot to get in the mindset of: "There is no better use of your time on this planet at this specific moment than to be doing this". Often times, our minds like to wander and to fantasize about what we could be doing instead, what we are missing out on. Your mind will tell you "just do one less set, your legs are already tired", "you could be having fun instead". It's the natural tendency of the mind to run away fro…
