I agree with leading by example. My wife is smoking hot, but started putting on a few pounds. I joined a running club with lots of other fit people, and my wife, who had never run a day in her life joined and started attending a boot camp style. Joining the running club was purely for my own enjoyment, and not to get her to work out, or anything, but I think it is the same concept of what OP is posting here.

Sounds like a pretty archaic jurisdiction if you have to prove grounds for divorce like adultery. My state doesn't fuck with that. Can't even bring it up in court on either side.

Evil divorce lawyer here. For money, you'll get screwed unless your plan is to be a broke ass forever. If you have pre-existing money, keep it segregated from any after marriage money. If you have kids, make sure you are hyper involved and there is a paper trail of your involvement. Take them to all their Dr appointments, dental visits, and go to all school conferences. Speak up at the Dr appointments. You'd be surprised how detailed medical records are in observing who is involved in parenting.…

Do not ever put your salary in the same account that holds the inheritance. Inheritance is separate property in my state (WA) and Salary is community property (in CP states like CA). Commingling SP and CP makes it all CP and is more likely to be split up, rather than given to one spouse.
