I think if the child asks, you answer honestly and you don't sugar coat it or lie to protect the other parent. But if the child doesn't ask you don't volunteer information.

I'm a single mom of twin boys and it's my greatest motivation to raise men that won't make a woman's life hell someday. I've had them doing chores since they could walk, learning respect for boundaries and being aware of other's needs since they could understand the concept of empathy. They're 6 now and will volunteer to do things like vacuuming, and will even push me to do housework with them if I'm being lazy (I'm sure they'd do it on their own if they felt more comfortable but we've always do…

Guys who's cut off age is 18 are still obvious pedos. They like kids they just don't want to go to jail. If the legal age was 16 their cut off would be 16. If the legal age was 12 that's where their cut off would be. Etc. They're just going as young as they can without outting themselves as pedos, and you can tell because if you point out that it's creepy their excuse is "it's legal" not "she's an adult/mature" or anything. They don't see 18 year olds as women they see them as legal children.

That's so rough. Hang in, you'll either find the perfect relationship or be better off alone, either way you win.

Yeah, the media definitely likes to spin things. "Vegan child dies of malnutrition" when in reality the kid was just starved, would have happened whether they were vegan or not. But if they weren't vegan, you can bet the headline wouldn't say "omnivore child dies of malnutrition". However, it takes 10 seconds to think before responding and use your critical thinking skills so you don't respond due to societal bias and anyone who doesn't have the restraint and self-mastery to calm their impulse r…

I did take a look from both sides, that's why we went vegan lol. You're the one who's closed minded.

If she was genuinely concerned about my children she'd have private messaged me. She wanted to publicly school the vegan, that's all. And I don't understand why people think adults can be vegan but children can't. Its like people think fruits and vegetables go "oh this person is the legal age of majority now, we can officially start being nutritionally sufficient to meet their needs!!" that's not how it works. And these same people never seem to be concerned for children who are eating strict Mc…

Yes, exactly. I don't want or need a relationship bad enough to compromise, I enjoy being single. A potential relationship would have to be an outstanding match to interest me.

Ok pick me. You can be willing to tolerate monster-in-laws for some dick, I am not. I'll stick to my high standards.

Exactly! It's so important. And it's not that I'm trying to be mean even, it's just a compatibility issue. In some cases people use religion as an excuse to be an ass, but even the ones who try really hard not to be assholes are still incompatible. Largely because spiritual/religious people always want to "save the soul" of the atheist and even if it comes from a genuine place of love, its annoying and draining to the atheist.

Literally I do not care about your irrelevant opinion. Unless you want to stay on topic and discuss relationship dealbreakers, kindly fuck off :) I'm not here to converse with someone trying to justify animal abuse. That's not what his sub is for. You want a vegan debate come find me in a vegan sub.

I hung out with a pick me for 3 ish years that hated the attention I got from men that she didn't. Eventually I found out she was telling these men I was diseased/unstable behind my back to try and get them to like her instead. Which to her fury often didn't work. Most (all maybe) of these men were LVM who I had no interest in anyway so I was honestly just relieved when they seemed to stop chasing me. She eventually found a LVM to date her and she never brought him around me and would make excus…

So, obviously the main ones FDS advises and red flags for a toxic person are instant deal breakers for me. But I'll talk about some that are more personal and just have to do with compatibility. 1) must be a strict vegan, and must have been a strict vegan for at least 2 years. I'm vegan and so are my kids, and we're not changing that and getting groceries when everyone is on different diets can be a hassle/expensive. Plus, I want veganism consistently role modelled to my kids. How can I tell the…

If I was your mom I would've told him he's not coming home with us and he can come pick up his things, that will be in garbage bags on the curb, the next day.

He's cheating. Men never straight up say they're cheating or most women wouldn't go for it. They always have some bullshit excuse....it's an open relationship, they're planning to divorce, they're separated but still living together, etc. Its always a lie.

Ready Player One....the book more than the movie. The main dude is literally an overweight gamer incel who falls for a girl online and she eventually has to block him because he won't leave her alone even when she asks and then at the end they get together. Wtf.

Agree with YesNoMaybe87. Checking a phone is invasion of privacy and a super shitty thing to do, dumping someone on the other hand is well within your rights.

I have had dudes send me nudes of their exes in a bid to get me to send them nudes....like no dude you just sent me another girl's nudes without her permission you've 100% proven that I can't trust you with mine?

You sound super defensive like you know what I said was right lol. And some people are too pick me to dump someone, and it's not ok to take advantage of that and keep them in an unhappy relationship. Honestly that line of thinking reminds me of people who ask an abuse survivor why they stayed and imply they deserved the abuse because they didn't leave, completely ignoring the very real factor of trauma bonding. That's honestly kind of what you sound like, an abuser who knows they can breadcrumb …

I don't think anyone should have to give oral, man or woman. But, if you don't want to give, you should only sleep with people who don't want to receive. Its absolutely not ok to expect someone to settle for less than what they want/need sexually.

Yeah I did. He was talking about how he was a virgin at 28 Because no one would have "the sex" with him, and then immediately gave me the puppy dog eyes and started sucking his thumb. I visibly grimaced and straight up told him "maybe because you refer to it as the sex. If you look, talk, and act like a child, you're only going to attract pedophiles. No decent woman wants to fuck a kid." AND YOU KNOW WHAT HE DID??? Threw a fucking GLORIOUSLY IRONIC temper tantrum. As if having a fit like a 5 yea…

Yes! I don't know why we think they want to fuck children. I had a male friend (not friends anymore) try to put moves on me and to seduce me he acted like a child. Like full on would suck his thumb while looking at me like as if I'd find that attractive.

"Depend on the unpaid labour of a spouse" only if you're a dude. Working women don't have boyfriends at home cooking and cleaning for them. I love how it's men justifying making women take care of them. "Don't feel bad if you can't do it" no, feel bad. You're not entitled to a female house slave, learn to put the work in.

Pissing and shitting in inappropriate places as revenge is a red flag for ASPD (the clinical term for psychopathy) interestingly enough. She needs to get herself and her child out of there.

This is exactly what my babydad is like. I walked our when our twins were 7 months old. He immediately shacked up with a new girl and she's been the one taking care of my children when he gets visits ever since. I hate her for it. They aren't her kids, they're mine, and I shouldn't have to give them to her every other weekend. If she refused to care for them he wouldn't even come get them. Which they'd be fine with, as they really don't give a shit about him and haven't for awhile. She's enablin…

Its also the dude's way of weeding out targets. The ones who stay despite being told are the ones he's going to be able to manipulate. The ones that leave are the ones he wouldn't have been able to control anyway.

Beware of instant love. Real connection takes time to develop. He's playing you. He wasn't on a suicidal kick he was doing whatever he wanted and ignoring you and that's just his excuse. You stay with this guy and you're 100% going to end up getting beat. Ghost.
