It's finally over - thank godAmerica! After 6 years and a million wasted in our twisted legal system, I'm going to be primary parent and she will get nothing in child support or alimony, in fact, she's going to owe me a fortune but it still wasn't worth what I have been going through. In the court system, the one who spends the most wins. Sneaky greedy attorneys on both sides dragged it on just to cash in. I would not marry again for a trillion dollars! | /r/Divorce_Men | 02/01/25 01:00 AM
Went by the Ex's house yesterday and I'm honestly worried about her... and also relieved.I'm actually shocked she let you past the front door to see the mess. Document everything! Is this her house or actually your house that she's living in? | /r/Divorce_Men | 30/12/24 06:38 PM
It's finally over - thank godWish my nightmare was over. 6 years of ligation and custody battle bs, a million in legal fees to end an 8 year marriage?? Totally corrupt legal system. | /r/Divorce_Men | 30/12/24 06:35 PM
Divorce almost overWhy do you ask? Just curious. You think the attorneys and courts are dragging this on for 6 years just to steal the money? Probably is the case. Pittyful, 6 years to get out of an 8 year marriage! | /r/Divorce_Men | 30/12/24 06:32 PM
Divorce almost overGuys, when I hear some of you complaining how long your divorce is taking, then I hear, 11 months, 6 months, a year and a half, it's actually pittyful you think that's a long time. I'm on year 6 of ligation and custody battle in this corrupt legal system and out a million in my own legal fees fighting a total maniac so perhaps lighten up and count your blessings. Words of wisdom. | /r/Divorce_Men | 27/12/24 01:40 AM
"You should be over it by now"Sounds a lot like my monster. Once I could not take her gaslighting abuse anymore, she hired a brutal attorney, filed a false dv restraining order, had me removed from my own premarital house and on through a ridiculously 5 year million dollar litigation and custody battle. She did every possible horrid act under the sun, I can't even discuss it anymore. Trial dates constantly delayed for years now. Finally 50/50 custody with me as primary due to her horrendous acts plus I found out only after t… | /r/Divorce_Men | 22/12/24 03:44 PM
"You should be over it by now"Wait a minute here, so you are telling us, she cheated on you, then walked out on her children, you got custody and she left you alone in peace? You are truly blessed, your thinking is cloudy. You are lucky she didn't try and blindside you by hiring a brutal divorce attorney trying to take your kids away from you and everything else you have. You are lucky. Think about it. | /r/Divorce_Men | 20/12/24 09:57 PM
Is no alimony a win?I must be missing something here. If you are going to co parent 50/50 the majority of the time and unless there is a big difference in both of your income status, a good attorney will explain to you this likely is not an alimony case, nor a child support case. | /r/Divorce_Men | 18/12/24 03:52 PM
