When I think of someone who has it together, characteristics like "makes $25k/year" or "lives with his mom" don't come to mind. To each their own, I guess.

I make less than 25k/year, on average. Sometimes much more. . I'm currently living with my mom . I feel like I have it pretty together. Ehhh.....doesn't sound like it.

we mustn't forget that the women you form relations with must also provide value to you. Can be in the form of quality companionship, proven loyalty/faithfulness, emotional and financial maturity. I never said anything to the contrary- I just think it's very pathetic and almost sociopathic that his advice is not to be the guy that a girl wouldn't leave in a million years, but rather to make the girl emotionally dependent on him.

This is the period where you incubate the relationship, immediately before cutting her off to make her dependent on you.
