To my knowledge, are women not graduating from university at greater rates than men? Something about no names on exams, only student numbers?

I have to be able to appreciate a guy on the intellectual level. He has to understand biology, he has to be decent at math. He has to be well versed in history and economics. In other words, I am attracted to guys that I can have a genuine conversation with. A guy who is all about earnings and wealth is a huge turn off. I want someone to build a equal future with. I don't speak for all women. I speak for myself

No, I ended up homeless, but, that is preferable to living with an abusive partner

I don't get close to men anymore... I didn't get out of my domestic violence situation on my own. The kids decided we were leaving after one particularly bad night of their father's rage. We need to make it easier to leave and get genuine help. I feel for the many women who decide that a white knight is the solution... I am glad my kids chose a shelter

Abusive men cut the woman off from friends and family. It's easier for some women to find a guy to help her get out. He is likely to be another abuser. I saw it over and over on the shelter for abused women. The woman picks the same type again and again. Counseling helps to break the cycle. My kids got us out, but, not all women are that fortunate. We had been isolated from friends and family for years. Seven years free. But it also means I play with a guy and never let him get close. I can't ri…

It would be great if relationships were as easy to get out of as into. A lot of men don't want to let the woman move on even when she is clearly unhappy and wants out. Most homicides where the guy kills his female partner, she's trying to leave. In that case, and it does happen a lot, she is best to find someone who can help her leave. That may include having sex with the person who is making it possible. I don't have any problem with that. Its survival

I'm a woman. If the guy act's like he's better than me, there's no point in dating him. We are not compatible. The best conversations were with open minded men. Ones that don't push a battle of the sexes. Ones that I could see a future with

I have to agree. I want a gentle loving man. I am not interested in jerks or not so nice guys that insist they are nice

I sure don't get involved with the not so nice ones anymore... if he indicates he's a jerk, entitled or pushy I move on. A guy can be poor, I can still fall for him. He can be short, I love it when I don't have to go on my toes to kiss. I'm 5'3. I like short. We have to be able to have long conversations on multiple subjects, or one that I am into. He has to be nice to service workers. The way he treats others tells me a lot. He has to have good hygiene and good teeth. He has to have nice breath…

I found the best sex was when the guy was patient and didn't push for it right away. In fact, I initiated the first kiss. I was ready and he didn't look like he was going to kiss me yet. He didn't last long term, even though the sex was amazing because I found out about his harem and he insisted on raw

Do you have female friends?

I disagree. I think men cheat for the thrill and women cheat because they no longer feel loved or appreciated and their husband still expects sex and dick sucked but ignores foreplay. She wants some good sex and loving attention. A side piece will give it to her. I don't see wanting love and affection as a lack of integrity. I see it as a survival skill and necessary for many women to continue without serious mental health issues and costly ineffective therapy. Oh I divorced my husband close to …

I know a guy that on paper is a huge loser. He's making barely above minimum wage. He's been bankrupt. He has women emotionally bound to him. Hr is amazingly sexy. He's great in bed and he has a smaller member, like at least one standard deviation from the mean. Guys resent him. But he devoted his life to being a Sex God and he succeeded. I had him years ago. Makes it hard to settle for sex with anyone else. Let me tell you, on a scale where he's a sexual ten, the next closest in my experience I…

Oops, didn't realize what sub I am on. I do think men need to hear the other side, because they never seen too... it's an echo chamber. But, yeah, looking at the subs name, I don't think my input is appropriate

He has not once said what she has to be happy about in the relationship. He has not mentioned what she sacrificed for him and the kids. He has not mentioned if she is depressed. It is like all that matters is how this affects him. Just like when a guy realizes he is never going to have any of his own hopes and dreams. Waiting for years to start the life they want and was put on hold by kids. She wants fun. Clearly she can't have that with her husband. What is it she wants that she can't have in …

Sounds like my ex, except he was the abuser and played victim. He got male cops to side with him. I think men should read about what women go through as well

I think women should spend some time on this sub before they marry. It is eye opening

Sounds like my ex-husband. He was career driven. Paid lip service to my desire for higher education - the reason I married him. He promised a university education. After I signed a marriage contract and married him he said that university Is for a woman to earn her MRS. I already had mine so he insisted that I work and pay him room and board. He played the victim when I left... don't lie to a woman so she will marry you. She may be the first person in her family to divorce, but, she won't have a…

It is good advice for women too. Have not lived with a man in 6 years... I don't trust them not to be abusive. Past experience says as soon as he thinks he has me, he will become a jerk. Thus, play a bit and toss them back. Better to break hearts than to be abused.

In 1968. And if minimum wage had kept up with inflation it would now be $24 in the USA. However, we were pitted against one another like crabs in a bucket. Instead of working together so everyone's lifestyle improved, the wealthy got people to say that minimum wage is for high school students. We bought into the lie. If a person is working full time, it should be enough to live on. No bs about high school students. Real wages for everyone

Before tax cuts for corporations and the wealthy. When minimum wage could support a family. We need to return to higher taxes on the wealthy and corporate earnings.

I saw what subreddit I was on after asking the question... it came up on popular and I just started reading. It was a well thought out response. Hopefully you will get the opportunity to put it in practice.

Wow! That's what I tried with my kids. I am happy with the people they became. I didn't expect to agree with you on parenting.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
