This is one of the few situations where you can’t let the man be 100% in control. For men, getting engaged is quite difficult, and that’s why they propose, bc they are ready to later than women. A mix of giving up some freedom, becoming a provider, and closing the door on all other women. Not bad things, just what it is. Unfortunately, I️ know too many women who let five, seven, ten yrs pass by and their LTR didn’t propose. Sucks. Bc for children, each yr is super important. My rule was never go…

Take pictures of you two before the furniture arrives. Pizza dinner on the floor, mattress on the floor. These photos will look like a fun adventure yrs from now. Your young selves before kids, roughing it. Enjoy it. :) As for making it a home, there isn’t a rush to make it perfect. Select pieces that speak to you, rather than fill space. The holidays will make it feel homey too. Lastly, cooking great meals is a great way to make a home

If you just started dating somewhat recently, he might be more interested in building the emotional relationship first. My now husband was like that when we first started dating. Maybe reflect inwards and see if you have any discomfort in building an intimate emotional relationship. Sex can sometimes get in the way of a deep emotional honesty. I'm an anti modern feminist woman, but I discovered that I had a big wall to breakthrough in order to build emotional trust with my partner. I had to put …

Obviously you can't judge everyone from the same gender to all think alike, judging people by groups instead of individuals is wrong, especially about what they believe in their hearts. I don't think all women hate each other. But I do think there are many issues that bring up conflict between women. One example is the huge shift from women managing households to managing high demand workloads AND households. I think women are capable of this, but it's a huge shift to complete and it will take m…

Fathers are the best. I'm a grown woman, but I've learned so much from my father. Including how to see false narratives and propaganda from a young age. I learned early on that my brothers would often have a harder time advancing in school and work because of their sex and race. I got unfair advantages from title nine, which my equally hard working and honestly more talented brothers did not get. They also know that they are always at greater risk for being taken advantage of by dishonest girlfr…

It's the difference between being a primate and a human. The difference between being a irrational child and a adult with dignity and personal boundaries. Why do people grow out of shitting their diapers? Because they grow up and realize the slight inconvenience of waiting for a toilet is worth it in the long run. When you say no to your animalistic urges, you just dignify yourself as a functional adult. No other living being on this planet experiences shame, just humans. We feel shame for a rea…

100% Furthermore, it's not even a new drug, it's sex. If you're married, you've experienced it. It's not like trying mushrooms for the first time for something completely new. If you really want to know the whole truth, the chase feels better than the actual act. Getting flirted with, the butterflies, feel better than any kiss or act. I know the horrors of what cheating brings, I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.

Cheating feels good for about ten minutes to an hour. Living with guilt and destroying someone you love feels bad for a lifetime.

I'm comfortable in public and being outgoing and fun in my spheres of influence (career, friends, etc.) but really feel "recharged" at home or in more intimate relationships. Same :) I know since my first post here is a bit of a downer, I probably come across as negative and insecure...but I really don't think I am that way IRL (I hope not!). Like most RedPill ladies, I know the importance of putting on a happy, confident face. I didn't get that. Forums are good for when you're feeling frustrate…

Oh, forgot to mention, this website is helpful for getting a better idea of what your body looks like. http://www.mybodygallery.com/ Being tall, there is sometimes a skewed perception of how "big" we are.

I'm 6'2" and got married last summer too. Internet twins :) Where did you end up getting your tall girl wedding dress?

Hey, fellow tall dame! I know how you feel. I was lucky to find sports at a young age that surrounded me with other tall women. Sports normalized my height and gave me confidence with my height. One of my teammates, who is supermodel gorgeous and Harvard-educated said something that stuck with me: "Tall girls like us will never be called 'cute.' We can be beautiful, statuesque, and a number of other wonderful things. Let's leave 'cute' for the majority of girls who are little. I'm happy to let t…

On mobile, please excuse my typos. I don't have children yet, but I know this will be a huge challenge, especially bc I grew up in a very liberal part of Los Angeles. Indoctrination has gotten worse since then. Things I know helped me was talking out with older conservatives, like my grandparents and my parents friends. I was always an old soul. Also, my mom always played conservative talk radio in the car, which really helped. Sharing another view point and well thought out arguments daily. May…

January Jones is a lunatic. The mad men team hated her. Even the kids who played her children couldn't stand her.

Also, download a phone call recorder app. Try to record all your conversations. My friend did this and got threats on audio. A big help with their case.

Check out Jordan B Peterson on YouTube. He's a brilliant professor and has a really interesting take on religion, philosophy and psychology. You're right, religion is just a story version of philosophy for the masses to understand. To create a higher power above humans to define right and wrong (otherwise it's just subjective opinion). As long as your religion doesn't promote violence or infringing on others constitutional freedoms, go for it.

She even disowned her surrogate child in order to get out of paying her ex husband. Sherri Shepard exemplifies the absurdity of America's divorce industry.

Totally hear what you're saying. He likely didn't mean it to be any harm. And he'll respect you and your maturity to clarify your respect to your husband in a quick comment back. I like what OP said above. You could add a bit of a smile, spin, and say "My husband XXX, claimed the "wife" nickname for me 5 years ago - let's get an original one for you like, "CEO of Awesome" or "Danger". Work stuff is hard. You don't want to make it weird shutting your boss down. Some offended men can be a pain in …
