The concept of monogamy made sense prior to farming, even if it didnt predominate to the same degree as it did after agriculture. Yes but there was no legal framework build on it and that's my point whenever l say the invention of marriage in a modern context was solely based on economic reasons

People accuse me of encouraging guys to attract gold diggers by saying focus on the money because that in itself will get you women However this is under the assumption the average woman isn't a gold digger herself which is quite interesting since marriage in itself is always for economic reasons not anything else
