How did you get to be confident at a height of 5’6”? I’ve been told by girls that no matter how much they like a guy, they couldn’t date him if he was shorter than them. When I updated my OLD profile with my height, my responses almost disappeared.

I wish there were more women like you out there, you are an extreme rarity(I’m 5’6”). I had several girls tell me there was no way they could date a guy shorter than them. Plus the 100s of online profiles that say if a guy is less than 5’10” they won’t talk to them. I’ve just learned to set a height limit of 5’6” when I do a search on Match.

Do not under any circumstances become their friend fisrt if you want a romantic relationship with them. This will explode in your face when you want to change to a romantic relationship. I did thos when I was your age & it’s caused life long damage.

It’s only happened to me twice, a d I wasn’t dating either girl. Wasn’t sure what to think. It did turn me on & I’m kicking myself for not asking either of them out. I would suggest only sending them to a guy who’s shown interest or asked you out on a date.

I can usually do that. In fortunately that almost always ends with the girl seeing me as just a friend (Friendzoned). It’s more trying to ask for a date or a phone number to set up a date. I just lock-up and don’t complete the mission.

I had a professional take my pics and always try to make a comment or question about something in their profile or pics. I’d say less than 25% of my messages get read. The 10% of those might get a reply.
