Most LPNs that stay as LPNs do it because they get into a moderately well paying job in the nursing field with an 11 month degree opposed to a 2/4/6 year degree ASN/BSN/MSN degree RNs get. They have guaranteed jobs slinging pills at nursing homes, and can pull in 40-60k a year depending on location.

Just don’t ever get a job with it. A nurse literally has to know how to do every part of a CNA’s job, which is mostly learning how to safely move patients and transfer them using different equipment. Also, wiping butts - just because you have a bachelors degree doesn’t mean you always get to pawn off ass wiping onto the CNA, especially with fat fucks that require 2 or more people

Only a couple of strains cause the horror shows you’ll see in google images. Herpes Simplex virus type 2 (genital herps) however, is much smaller, depending on ethnicity. On a 12 hour shift, they may interact with a doctor between 0-20 minutes. Nurses have surprisingly little interaction with doctors. I discovered like most that a really nice phone only needs to be upgraded every 4 or 5 years, since the guts run everything great for a long time, the OS is still supported, and the functions are there. It should be upgraded similarly to how often an average person gets a new computer.

The bus is acceptable in like SF, NYC, and Chicago as transit for people with means. Anywhere else it starts getting into sketchy/poor territory. Most cities aren’t designed around busses, and therefore have very awful bus systems that everyone avoids because of how limited and inconvient they are. The bus in my area stops running at 7pm and doesn’t run on Sunday.

You clearly dont know any nurses. I worked in nursing as an aide for 9 years and a majority of the places (SNF and acute care) I worked at had 12 hour shifts divided into day and night shift. Lower patient handoff lowers the amount of errors that can be made at ahift change. 3 12's is probably the absolute most common work schedule among all branches of nursing
