Totally not RP. Hagakure is BP as fuck. "According to a certain person, a number of years ago, the late Matsuguma Kyoan told this story: In the practice of medicine there is a differentiation of treatment according to the Yin and Yang of men and women. There is also a difference in pulse. In the last fifty years, however, men's pulse has become the same as women's. Noticing this, in the treatment of eye disease I applied women's treatment to men and found it suitable. When I observed the applica…

u/bsutansalt, u/mordanus Yes, her history shows that she won't let go until another branch is guranteed to be there. She's obviously setting me up to catch her. Which is funny because it won't work knowing what I know now. I'm actually amused by her behavior. Like u/JanLul says, wouldn't it be better to play along just to keep her from going nuclear? Afterall, I may be the custodial parent, but the judge said either one of us could come back later to re-neg.

She doesn't get anything material out of me. If anything, I get more material out of her. I caught her trying to keep me around on the day we got the divorce. She invited me over to smoke a bowl. During which, she eventually broke out her photo album to share with me pictures of our daughter. I noticed her skipping over the pages of her with her BF. I kept it short and excused myself and went about my business. I guess that's where the hug and kiss comes in. Validation = resources + feeling bett…

Thanks for the words of encouragement. I like to think it was becoming an RP man that achieved this. In the beginning, she was after a lot more. By the end, she was malleable. The only thing in between was my RP transformation.

Anselm's Ontological Argument? Something about 'If you can imagine it, it exists.' Of course, this was originally used in a metaphysical/theological context. It's along the same lines. "You're not REALLY an atheist." etc.

Well, Samurai whole existence is to serve a lord. That's how he gets paid. No lord, no pay. But, they also had a heck a lot of perks over the other castes. Onto the disposability bit, it's almost like they lived their lives with the frame of jumping onto a live grenade at any moment. In our western culture, soldiers who jump onto live grenades to save his brothers are viewed as dying an honorable death. So, with this frame in mind, they developed a system which emphasized warrior stoics. (Becaus…
