Well, I mean not traditional feminists moving towards the original goal of the group. It is obviously a whole different discussion to be had for the merits of new wave feminism, but I'm more just saying that it's not a fact that feminists would be against a traditional marriage role for women.

I know we're not here for actually discussion, but the point of the real feminist movement was just equality. Women should have the same opportunities as men. If they then decide they'd rather be a subservient housewife, then good for them cause they can make their own life choices. Actual feminists and not the new wave radical ones, would never tell a woman she can't be in an old fashioned marriage or that she has to go to college and make more money. Its just that she could if she wanted to.

I'm not a woman, but good assumption. I'm just a dude who doesn't buy into this shit that some guys are talking about nowadays. You're missing the point entirely. It's not about your hobby. Go fishing if want. It's just pointing out how there are so many guys who use a picture of them holding a gross fish as their main photo on dating apps. It's like if I used a picture of me sweaty and gross after playing basketball as my main picture and said "its my hobby". Yes, it is, but that's not attracti…

Okay redpillers I get the point. There is no disrespect involved. People don't like to see distressed animals being held up for dating profiles. And most guys use it as their main photo too. Is that the most attractive thing you can think of?

Someone can be okay with your hobby but not want to see you holding a nasty ass fish in your bummy fishing outfit lol. I'm just trying to help y'all on dating sites but do you

Sure, enjoy your hobby. But the majority of women don't want to see that. Unless she's like specifically really into fishing, it's hurting your chances

Shes obviously talking about dating apps. A strangely large amount of men post pictures holding fish on them

What is that article? There are no names, no response from the college, and I cant find anything else anywhere. No other sources with information. Seems like mensrights circlejerk material. That's what the lawsuit claims and has no information as to what actually happened. Literally one side of the argument. I'll give the college the benefit of the doubt unless information comes out.

I do know feminists but they're not radical and they dont make up statistics. They're all very logical and normal people who push for equality.
/r/MensRights06/03/20 04:16 AM

Yeah I might have come across it once or twice in my logic class 🙄 I didnt even address that because you couldn't tell when I said it so why even have another stupid thing to argue over
/r/MensRights06/03/20 04:10 AM

Who cares? Ignore them. I hear more people complain about feminist than I hear actual feminists. I have very liberal friends and go to a liberal college and still never hear this shit except for on reddit.
/r/MensRights06/03/20 04:09 AM

Ignored by ignorant idiots whatever. The vast majority of people who care to learn will see the real statistics.

You're told by some new wave feminist who I specifically addressed in my first comment as being wrong. This is so stupid

Omfg I dont care about womens studies lmao. You guys just make these strawman arguments. What leads you to believe those arent counted in rape statistics?
/r/MensRights05/03/20 11:49 PM
2

Well idk what the FBI says themselves but the DOJ makes the rules and they are explicit that rape can be committed by any gender and the victim can be any gender.
/r/MensRights05/03/20 11:48 PM

You, like the other guy, are misinterpreting the law. Thats fine though because you came to the true conclusion which proves my point. Statistically women commit about 1/3 of rapes. That means men commit a vast majority. Glad we agree.
/r/MensRights05/03/20 11:47 PM
1

Okay but that's not true because that isnt the DOJs definition of rape, which is the governmental organisation under which the FBI falls. Yall have reading comprehension issues
/r/MensRights05/03/20 11:15 PM
1

You're misreading it. It says penetration without consent. Not saying which person needs consent. It could be the man not giving consent as well. And it includes other sexual acts.
/r/MensRights05/03/20 11:14 PM

Also the FBI follows the department if justices protocols which state that rape can be perpetrated by both genders so that's not true off the bat. The CDC idk but it doesn't matter because they dont create the laws.
/r/MensRights05/03/20 11:06 PM

That's not true lmao did you not see my link? It's the department of justice

Show me that survey please. All the information I can find shows the contrary
/r/MensRights05/03/20 11:04 PM

You guys keeping putting words in my mouth. I never said that. Anyone can be raped by anyone. I said that the vast majority of rapes are perpetrated by men against women, which is true. Also, just by the way I worded it, it's clear that I left room for rapes committed by women against men. I've been getting a lot of people attacking me for my semantics or things I didnt say and no actual compelling argument. Break from the hivemind for a minute.
/r/MensRights05/03/20 05:05 PM
1

That isnt true. The definition was changed in 2012 to not discriminate by gender. It includes everyone on both sides. https://www.justice.gov/archives/opa/blog/updated-definition-rape
/r/MensRights05/03/20 05:03 PM

You honestly think that there are so many missing reports and changes in wording that it would flip the statistics? Also taking into account the fact that a large portion of women who are raped dont report it either? All you have to go on is pure speculation. A gut feeling maybe. Anyone who follows any sort of actual statistics knows that women are disproportionately the victims in cases of sexual violence.

What? Lmao. I never said anything remotely close to that
/r/MensRights05/03/20 10:40 AM

That wasnt my point. Dominating over other races beyond just a majority of the share of power and wealth. Domination in terms of slavery, indentured servitude, conquering other lands, and unequal treatment. North America, for instance, now a white dominated society was originally populated by natives who were destroyed, mistreated, and cast aside.
/r/MensRights05/03/20 09:16 AM

Then she wasnt wrong to say that. You could argue she's being misleading possibly but not wrong
/r/MensRights05/03/20 09:13 AM

She said almost no women. It could be hyperbole but it's definitely true that rape is committed way more often by men to women than vice versa.
/r/MensRights05/03/20 07:42 AM

He's kind of misrepresenting her ideas, though. It is true that men have come to dominate society, the same as white people have come to dominate society in the west and some other areas over other races. Men made laws and religions that controlled and subjugated women, and only very recently have given women even the semblance of equality in most places. This means that men had the jump on women for millenia in getting businesses started, passing down inheritances, and getting education. These …

He's mostly right, but as a man, he's being too general. It would be silly to act as if there's no bias towards men in leadership and success. Men are given more opportunities in climbing ranks in business and women are looked down upon in the same situations. There are tons of men in leadership roles who would fight against a woman being a president or something of the sort in a business. There are vast swaths of men and women who wouldn't vote for a woman to he president, perhaps, because wome…
