Lets be clear, only reason coscription exists is to provide cheap cannon fodder. Lets take Russia, one year of service for every fit male. What that gives is - big mobilization potential of severely undertrained soldiers. 2	I agree with this- we shouldn’t criminalise groups of people based on crimes committed by a few… but why do these people not apply that same logic to men? "Their" issues are very much our issues. Transwomen and transmen alike will most likely face "male/man" social treatment at some point in their lives, and misandry will shape their experience. 9	Thoughts on conscription Filtering by these standards is flawed. Why are men inherently better? You would be far better with average woman than with (under 100lb at average height) me, for example. If you want to include physical fitness in that, then why not take everyone who passes? But one more point - if country is invaded and its country worth fighting for/enemy wants genocide - then there would be so much volunteers that you'd run out of guns to hand them.
