The "we can make sperm out of our bone marrow, so men are obsolete" one ranks high up in my opinion because... A) the same process would work with men, we would just need ectogenesis tech AKA artificial wombs. and B) The fact that in humans it is the sperm that determines the sex of the child, not the ova.
