How much smoke did her attorney blow to make contributing to a 529 mandatory? I can't get over that. You or she could withdraw it any time depending on who the custodian is.

Just take time for yourself. It is killing you like it does everyone of us who has gone through what you are. Lose the lenses like there's some 'manly' way to go about it and talk to someone and focus on your hobbies and what makes you happy. The best thing for your kids is for them to see you happy and not trying to live up to some non existent sociological expectation.

Yup. And, if he agrees to it and later on decides to get a divorce then he is condoning her cheating which could play a part in alimony payments.

Asking for a friend, right? Depends on disclosure. It would be a snapshot in time and most US courts will just see someone has X amount of dollars on whatever account, and determine how and if it should be split. Many more variables to consider and more context needed. Are you getting divorced and this is the reason for your question or is this just a hypothetical? You're in South Carolina, which is an at fault ground for divorce state. That's a good thing. As impossible as it may seem, try to keep emotions out of your reasoning as much as possible. Best case you have is you do not owe her alimony. I got divorced in GA with young children myself under similar circumstances. As much as you may hate it, she's going to be apart of your life for the foreseeable future because you have a kid together. That's just the reality unless she's a drug addict or puttin…

I'm sure Ohio has a minimum residency requirement before one could file for divorce there. If you've lived in FL for 4 years and that's where your primary residence is, she can wish in one hand and s*it in the other and see which one gets filled first.

As long as you aren't spending $ on onlyfans or something along those lines where she can produce financial transactions, her allegations are pointless. Many divorces start where one spouse accuses the other of being an alcoholic, porn addict, and/or "emotionally" abusive. And cannot substantiate the claim whatsoever. Means nothing. You don't have to worry about it.

It means she has an onlyfans. Literal translation.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
