I had to do pay scaling for jobs for a shipping company I worked for freelance recently to help a company understand why Brexit is popular. UKs wage stagnation makes wage stagnation in the US look like nothing. Competing with all of Europe for jobs, you will never get a raise. The biggest drawback we found is NHS will collapse because of how severely underpaid healthcare workers are. There are challenges ahead for sure but Brexit would force the UK parliament to deal with these problems.

Compared to even the mid west of the US(lowest starting pay rates) starting pay fresh out of school is overall way higher by conversion rates.
