The question is nonsensical. Your example doesn't assign cause to the number of each color car so there isn't any theory to test. The data supports nothing except itself.

That is a survey, not an experiment, it doesn't have an Independent Variable. The original article was an experiment, the IV was manipulating female voices. In the gravity example, the IV is letting go of the object.

given that they collected at this data where the collection had no bias couldn't it be examined to look for multiple different conclusions? The only conclusion an experiment can draw is to 'reject' or 'not reject' the null hypothesis. In this case, the null hypothesis is that a bias in favor of men does not exist. Interesting study, but I can see a confound in accounting for seperate varieties of speech used by men and women. This might be evidence of a pro-female hiring bias, or this could be evidence that voice modulation has a negative impact on job interview performance. After all, there's much more to male and female speech differences than the octave of their voice. One of the main arguments that sex with a minor constitutes a form of rape is that they can't understand the consequences of having sex. To acknowledge that by maintaining statutory rape laws while simultaneously imposing the consequences of sex onto a minor is fucking absurd. But a 15 year old who has sex with another 15 year old is still responsible for thier child, despite both's inability to consent. The world is not black and white, and this is a definate grey area.
