That’s right. “Options” for women are largely orbiters, guys who live in their DMs. I keep telling guys that, but too many guys in dating apps feel like their competitors when they’re not. Women pursue guys as well. Just because she has 50+ DMs means nothing. She most likely has her eye on like one or two guys at the minimum.

They like to make a man’s wage and enjoy financial freedom but only if they can earn it from an air conditioned office, they don’t want to do any manual labour or dangerous work, or work the long hours and overtime that men work. They certainly don’t want to go fight for the freedom of their countrymen in a war. When the draft comes in the next war they’ll be safe at home making bandages and bullets while the men are dying in the mud. Wow, I didn't know they had internet in the 1940s. I'm a guy …

I’m a guy and I disagree with this sentiment. Women get the short end of the stick always You said women are never held accountable?? HA! How many guys have sent unsolicited dick pics online to random women and never get in trouble? Women in abusive relationships are never taken seriously until they’re missing or dead. If a woman brags about sleeping around as much as a guy does, it immediately tarnishes her reputation as a person. As a guy I can say I slept with 20 women in any environment and …

What is there to “understand l” about women? They’re just people at the end of the day lol. You don’t sit and study men for years do you? Do you feel a need to study men as extensively?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/24 06:36 PM

This post was meant to be sarcasm but there was actually a guy back during the Korean War who performed several successful battlefield surgeries by just reading the books. But then again, he also had an exceptional photographic memory as well.

You are %10000 correct with this post. However, reaching this mental fortitude is EXTREMELY tough. We’re talking self esteem here: something everyone on planet earth understands. Most men and women won’t come close to this. They’d rather settle for self pity or hatred, because those are easily in reach. It took me YEARS to reach his point of indifferences toward romantic rejection. It’s still not easy. I still hold an ounce of resentment toward some not all of the women who have rejected me, and…

Basically we found out the further our relationship went the more incompatible we were. She didn’t want to end things but it was for the best.

That depends on the relationship dynamic. The inverse applies to gfs hating that their boyfriends want to break up.

So say a guy get's attention from women and is able to have dates and casual sex, he would feel happier in general and more fullfilled due to that attention and intimacy. Whereas a guy who get's little attention, gets rejected or no dates and no sex would in general feel a sense of discontenment, loneliness and depression. Well, you kind of answered your own question rigth here lol. It's not a guy thing: it's a people thing. Plenty of women who can't get men feel *exactly the same way* it's no…

There're 8 billion people on the planet. Your crush not getting with you is pretty insignificant in the grand scheme of the universe when you factor in that you have a literal 100 million potential suitors out there in the world who would be interested in you. The reason rejection sucks so bad is because we put ourselves in the center of the equation and then get upset when the answer isn't what we expected. In other words, when you get a crush, make efforts to set boundaries and remind yourself…

Honestly, age doesn’t matter much to me, 19-50 isn’t a dealbreaker at all so long we have good chemistry. I’ve seen a lot of older woman who still look nice and are easy to get along with.

You raise a very important point here, however, I believe this is where deepest frustration in men arise from this very point you mention. I’d comfortably say most men are aware that most women are just normal who like normal guys. And they see this irl everywhere they go. They’ve grown up hearing this from their moms and dads. However, you also hear the average guy struggles anyway despite this. You hear the average gal struggling with a quality man but for average man the a struggle is with ge…

The friendzone only exists if you choose it. Nobody “puts” you in the friendzone. You do that all by yourself. She isn’t the only person in the world. That seems to be a common theme amongst men. They like one girl and they become obsessed with her like she’s the only girl on planet earth they can be with. If she rejects you just go “meh, who cares,” cause in the grand scheme of things it’s not that big of deal. You’ll live and get over it and go about your day as easy as that. Moving on drastic…

Okay, here’s your typical woman standards They still prefer men who are financially set, taller than them, to take charge in a relationship, etc… it’s the same stuff women have been saying for centuries. But these standards aren’t dealbreakers for most women, it’s just what they prefer. People do still tend to date within their communities. The number of couples who’ve met one another at school or work is still the norm.

But what’s fueling men to find the bulk of women attractive? It’s usually a desperate need to be in a relationship and to not be single above all else. You mentioned the male loneliness crisis… men aren’t the only people that are lonely. There are lots of women in the same boat, but men tend to dismiss this because they see women who are lonely as women who can still date at will and get into causal sex far more easier. But like I stated in my OP on this subreddit, who cares? lol. Women and men …

Well, I never stated that women are “happily,” single. I said they’re more “willing,” to be single. And your ancadote shows that exactly. Women standards haven’t changed. You just described a typical picky woman, and picky women aren’t new.

Poor social skills. I’ve noticed most people won’t say anything unless you break the ice first. No one enjoys putting themselves out there because they’re worried too much about expectations backfiring on them or “saying the wrong thing.” AKA overthinking things too much. Friend connections fade overtime naturally, however, they seem to be fading much quicker now since most people do not like taking the initiative to reach out. Building on the previous point, there have been psychology studies s…

Only one way to find those people, and that’s to put yourself out there. There is no other way around it.

I’m a guy and I emphasize. Just because you have “options,” doesn’t necessarily mean that you like those options.

Who knows. I don’t look at it like some sort of affectionate hierarchy. I’ve had girls who were only interested in having sex and once that had been fulfilled, they slow fade and act like they don’t want to be bother anymore lol. I guess for most men it’s clear when a girl doesn’t like you, since that tends to be the default. Regardless, my priority is only on the ones who show signs of reciprocation. Other than that, I won’t get too invested too soon in just any girl I find attractive. Thats a …

Yup. I specify the activities and time table. Like I said, this is ubiquitous regardless of dating or casually hanging out. Like no one’s ever in the mood to do anything.

I’d comfortably say women wouldn’t stay in a sexless relationship either. This notion that men are just after ass and nothing else is getting old. In Instagram I have women friends who make post about wanting/needing sex more then men 😆 I have one friend who posted a lewd instagram story of encouraging guys to c*m on her face lol. I have sense that the post was satire, but still. It seems like when women talk about explicit sexual content it is “reclaiming their sexual,” but when men say it it’s…
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/24 01:00 PM

For real 😆 Yeah, I would enjoy dating a lot too if i found someone who actually reciprocates! I haven’t had any issue asking women out. The problem is that I can’t never seem to find one who wants to go out. Now and days it seems like everyone’s way too busy doing nothing to do anything.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/24 12:35 PM

Yup. I’m a guy. And dude, I like your replies in this thread. You do have a great outlook on things. I do know my worth. That’s hasn’t been an issue. For me it’s just getting people to link up with. They’ll agree to hang out and then they’ll wind up flaking or not coming through. This isn’t just with dating but with friendships as well. I take the initiative in basically all my interactions with people, otherwise nothing would come out of it. I invite others to events but they always have someth…
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/24 12:13 PM

In a nutshell, what you described here is exactly how dating should be, but it just…isn’t. Most people can agree that dating is 90% frustrating and 10% fun. It’s like you invented a new sport called Lava surfing which is addictive and fun to play, but you also wind up getting burned everytime you play it. For me dating has been They’re already taken (or claim that they are) Not interested Seemingly always busy to do anything. Never reciprocates. Ghosting I actually land a date 😆

Yup. I concur. Seen it so many times irl. Women do have a good sense when it comes to gauging men, however when they’re enamored by a guy who is clearly an s head, they deliberately ignore their intuition and wind up deal with the guy anyway.

Just like how some men lust after women who aren’t interested in then get upset about being friendzoned or believing all women are shallow as a result, some women lust after men who show clear and present signs of craziness. But it’s the lust for these men is what blinds these women decision making. More tire than not, these women know these men are not good for them, but they just go with it anyway. You usually hear these women say that the guy they fell for was a cool guy who turned into a cra…

How so? You’re you everyday. Okay, let’s play the devils advocate here. Instead of telling men to not be themselves, what advice do you suggest?

Nah. The issue is guys asking their friends out who clearly never showed them any signs of interest in return. I’ve seen this scenario play out over and over again irl. This is a very common mistake a lot of men make (myself included) when it comes to dating. They think by just being friendly with a woman would somehow escalate things to her liking him in a romantic manner. But this almost never happens in practice. If she likes you, it will be obvious. But you see, men are enabled by the social…

As the old saying goes: women choose; men wind up with whatever they can get. This is one of the major reasons men and women alike do not emphasis with one another when it comes to relationship dynamics. Men are under the impression of, “hey you picked the knucklehead, so goodluck 👍” I’m not entirely sure where you’re coming from with this post, but I’m not saying that in a judgmental way.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/02/24 03:53 AM

No, personally I do not. When I do DM women, it’s usually women I have passing familiarity with. 99% of the time none of these women ever write to me first, ever. If I don’t make an effort to reach out to her, then I will never hear from her. Yes, even women who’ve I’ve dated have done this, and would usually be upset at me not “showing initiative” when they can just as easily reach out to me. This isn’t an ALL woman thing, just my personal experience.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/09/23 01:52 PM

Yes, unfortunately you’re right about male harassment. However, DM women, you make this sound like it’s something inherently wrong with doing so.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/09/23 01:38 PM

Yes, but this isn’t the only form of comments women get from guys. Yes, the comments are gross, yes the men who do it suck, but what about the genuine comments women receive from men on social media? The ones that are actual affirmative to her existence, her wit, her sense of style without the gross undertones? I see women make posts about a new hair style/ new outfit/ new car on social media and the comments they receive are from men and women of positive affirmation and acceptable. Whereas whe…
/r/PurplePillDebate14/09/23 01:10 PM

Obviously not, and the men who engage in that behavior are projecting their own self-hatred in themselves.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/09/23 12:56 PM

Nah. This is one thing I’ve seen plenty of my women friends. Like what some guys have already stated, a woman who takes herself off the dating market still gets attention from men. It may not be from men she likes, but she still gets it without much effort irl and on social media. In other words, she gets passive attention from men. If a guy did the same, he’s basically invisible to women. Women very rarely approach him in real life and on social media. He gets close to 0 attention from women ov…
/r/PurplePillDebate14/09/23 12:04 PM

I do not believe it’s about validation or positive feedback. If guys had options on par with women, simping would still occur, but it’d be significantly reduced to the point that it probably would be a rare occurrence. However, having an abundant of options is a double edge sword too.
