She is doing herself a disservice. It is a good idea to look at societal structures and to question clichés and traditional rules instead of always continuing the way it always has been. And that includes the role of women. But if you start by saying that you personally are guilty of killing women you've got your head so far up your ass that it must be painful.

Sure, that is the ideal. But I don't believe men are inherently better at math and science. So the 90% 10% split must be linked to different causes. The preference for women is a clumsy attempt at addressing the issue and can lead to situations where not the best candidate is selected.

Of course they are, but they are not underrepresented in stem. The underlying assumption of these programs is that every group of people had the same aptitude for stem but there are societal structures upholding an imbalance (e.g. stem is for boys) So one way to fix it is to ensure to bring the underrepresented groups in in higher numbers.
