I don't think it has anything to do with feminism, it's never said she's justified or forgiven because she's a woman, and we see the same thing happen with Loki, a man, where he does horrible things but is then changed and forgiven.

I guarantee that if this survey was given to women the numbers would be the exact same

Most women don't use that logic, the only people who talk like that are a small subset online who want to start conflict.

Even if it is cloned tissue, it's cloned genital tissue harvested from children without consent or anesthetic. This is more akin to cannibalism with lab grown human meat than it is to something like organ or blood donation.

I used to watch her channel, she has a history of going after or attacking other psychology channels for clout, and wording her opinions or views like facts, using her degree to back it up. I'm not supprised, it really sucks when profesionals use their certification to push certain views

It shouldn't be worded as "Women's Complicity", it unjustly shifts the blame onto the average woman who can't change things on her own. The goal should be solving the problem and not looking for someone to blame

I know, and I agree, but I would still feel bad about this if it was people bringing up statisgics about say, men being the majority of murders and the majority of murder victims. It's important to talk about and I wont deny it, but it's definetly uncomfortable when it comes up a lot

I feel bad for lesbians caught in the middle of this. I know its important to get info correct and it's good you corrected it, but it's got to hurt when people use that statistic a lot, especially with the less-than-tolerant current state of the US

I think the vast majority of it is social stigma against male victims, and against victims of sexual abuse by women. Sexual violence twords women by men is taken very seriously by media, male on male and female on male sexual violence is usually played as humor in media, and female on female sexual violence is virtually never shown. Some people will say the risks of pregnancy is a reason, and while it's a horrible issue that male victims don't face, that doesn't mean it isn't also traumatizing f…

Wording it like this is just increasing divide and hate. We should focus on solving Group A's issues, not blaming or claiming group N is responsible or benefitting. It's never productive to pin the blame on people because of a trait they didn't choose

I'm losing so much faith in humanity looking at this stufd every damn day. I know there are far more good people than there are shitty people like in these photos but everywhere I go it's just hate disguised as justice

I really don't think that there's a *gendered loneliness issue. In general, with social media acting as a quick dopomine hit and substitute for genuine interaction, there is a lomeliness issue. And there are issues more commonly faced by men, like suicide, but in general there isn't anything productive about labeling it as a "male or female loneliness epeidemic", since it increases divide and doesn't solve the issue

Most women don't belive that, just a vocal minority of shitty people who want to demonize others. We should try to avoid generalizing whole groups when addressing these issues

This is like when people call a shitty person fat or ugly, it doesn't help. Call them a shitty person, call them out for what they're doing or why its harmful, insulting their apperance doesn't help

I do agree that the word incel is used waya too often, especially for men, but you get how ridiculous that sounds, right?
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates30/04/26 10:36 PM

No, it's just widely misused. There are incels and they are problems, but a lot of people use it the wrong way. Instead of trying to censor the word, just correct people and don't let them use it the wrong way

There's unfortunatly a lot of fake progressives in progressive groups, but it's important to call them out and try to move things forward for everyone. You seem like a wonderful person for speaking out, regardless of who the target is

Instead we should try to push that metoo is for us too. All victims should be heard and all offenders should be held accountable, we shouldn't let any one group try to claim that idea Plus, making a new group or trend would get more pushback than using an already existant movement that applies to the situation

This seems less like a real study and more like something to wedge the divide between young men and women even further. We should be focusing on issues directly faced by people and not sharing the growing divide

The "emotional violence" part concerns me a bit, someome can be emotionally abusive but calling something "emotional violence" or considerirng emotional abuse a form of violence seems like a stretch

I think with Pinochio, there were jokes about him wearing women's underwear in one of the movies

That's just body humor, not male suffering. It would be just as funny if someome got shot in the ass with an arrow, it's just a gag when a character gets hurt

People say the same thing about MRAs or male advocates because, unfortunatly, there are a lot of shitty ones, and that vocal minority is what most people see. The good people are the ones who are less likely to scream their takes online, so they don't end up responding to others in their circle who say something messed up. Please, don't generalize people and don't let a few shitty people cloud your view

No, most feminist are good people who care about men and women alike, there's just a really loud minority of crappy ones online, just like any other group. Its best to avoid demonizing any one group specifically

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
