Ohh, definitely. I have this cycle that occurs often, where I'm single for about 8 months out of the year on average, and I watch porn somewhat regularly. So when I actually get a girl, and we get down to it, she has a great time, I have a great time, but I can't finish. I always tell the girl not to worry, that I'm fine, yes, I'm having a great time, yes, she's sexy, yes, I want more etc., but this has cost me at least 2 relationships. I feel I can stop watching porn when I'm in a relationship,…

I look for things I have in common so I have adventures to go on with my person of interest. My current girlfriend is just about perfect because she likes literally everything I like. She likes my cooking, she likes to explore with me, we play videogames, and we exchange novels to read, and favorite TV and movies together. She's just as nerdy as nerdy as me, and even if we weren't together, we could be great friends. I think the big trick is seeing past the superficial, and finding someone you r…

Cold approaches have yet to work for me, ever. I scare people.

So, this is my personal perspective, but I am a rather tall man (6'5) who has been described as "intense", "angry", "bouncer" and "trouble". Obviously, if I'm in the business of trying to gain a young woman's attention, I don't want her to think I would ever hurt her. I also don't want to go hitting on a taken woman. To that end, if I don't notice an "in", I don't approach women typically. If I don't get the implication she's at least curious, I don't approach.

Go get him. I hope you're both very happy.

Men aren't like women. Typically, I've noticed my women friends have a lot of male attention, they're rarely si gle more than a month after a breakup. Society expects men to be outgoing, and do the legwork to get a girl's attention, but most men are very lonely in reality. Women get enough attention that it is a very real competition to get her attention, whereas most average men just want someone to notice them. You notice him. I can promise you, if he's not already in a relationship, just invi…

I appreciate the encouragement.

Then she can tell me. Don't get me wrong, she's pretty much what I'm looking for, but if she's not happy in her relationship, she needs to confront that. If she wants me, she can tell me. I ain't going anywhere.

I'm not. She has a guy, and I am not the kind of person to break a couple up.

Exactly! I want a lover, but I'll gladly settle for a friend. Houses built on a single pillar tend to topple when the wind blows. A foundation on steady ground makes for a better establishment.

Just have a conversation. It comes up naturally. I met a cute girl in a bar the other night. Bought her a shot, we got to talking, she mentioned her boyfriend was on deployment. Good enough. We switched gears and had a good talk, we're both artists, so she's among my list of friends, and wants to check out a place together next week. I mentioned she should bring a cute friend that needs company. The trick is the listen, and not shut down if she happens to be taken. Just because she's not my pers…

I make jewelry. If I'm interested in someone I'll kinda show off. Sometimes I give a girl I like a gift.

Drown the awkward in normality. Ignore any discomfort she seems to prohect, and maintain indifference, pretend that everything is perfectly normal. She'll eventually figure herself out.

So here's the thing: there is a power dynamic at work for employees and customers. Employees are paid to be nice to you. Their job relies on customers returning. They also, short of you outright sexually assaulting them, or saying certain explicit things, cannot tell you to leave them alone, or to go away. This means you can make them very uncomfortable, very quickly, and their livelihood depends on them not only tolerating the abuse, but doing so with a smile. I don't hot on my waitstaff. If th…

It CAN happen. It happened once to me, a decade and a half ago.

Absolutely. If I ask a girl out and she's not excited and happy to go, especially if she's hesitant or has reason the think I'm up to something, all of these are red flags.

Bro, your girl is telling you she wants to spend time with you and wants you to do things that, I believe, you both enjoy. You can make suggestions too, but do fun things with your girl. Don't question it, roll with it, if your girl wants to go to a museum, go to the museum.

Frankly, I scare people, and have no idea how to make an appropriate approach.

Generally the same experience here. I'm a giant in good shape, I've been told a lot that when I enter rooms people expect me to commit a murder. I try to be seen in public as much as possible with friends.

I'm a very large, and in the words of most people, frightening looking man. I draw comparisons to the undertaker, triple H, judge dredd, etc. Wherever I go. I have no clue how to approach random women to.ask them out, but my friend group is overwhelmingly female.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
