/u/fatcowz4795 It's a feminist theory that states there is an invisible barrier in place that prevents women (or minorities) from rising in ranks in a business.

Finland, Iceland etc are tiny countries that are smaller than medium sized cities, Um... where do you live that medium sized cities are 130,672 squared miles? Or 39,769 squared miles? Finland and Iceland are small countries, but they are by no means smaller then a medium sized city. Even the largest city in the world, Chongquing, is only about the size of Austria, which itself is smaller then even the 39,769 squared mile Iceland.

I freely admit that my view on this is quite extreme and, unfortunately, I am doubtful it will ever happen. I'd be extraordinarily happy if we could throw the NFA in the trash. Or at the very least, the Hughes Amendment. Even though SCOTUS has already ruled the NFA as unconstitutional, no one is willing to enforce that decision.

Judging by your comment, I assume you're pro-gun? Yes. I'm curious to know how you feel about requiring extensive and proper training, as well as a thorough background check, before allowing someone to purchase a firearm. It's the equivalent of a poll tax/test and I view it the same as I do poll taxes/tests. Burn'em, forget they ever existed and relegate them to the annals of history as an extremely embarrassing moment of our country. I await the day I can walk into a store and pick up a gun lik…

Catholics don’t. Oh, Catholics certainly do. At least American Catholics do. But it likely has more to do with society expecting men to be circumcised then religious beliefs, same with most Protestant branches.

I’m a guy but I don’t understand why are other men so opposed to circumcision, can someone explain this to me? I tried googling it but couldn’t get a clear answer and it would be great to know about this topic as well because it concerns me. It's a mostly irreversible cosmetic surgery that has no known health benefits. It chops off an essential part of the body that evolution has not yet deemed irrelevant. The male foreskin is the equivalent of a female clitoral hood. Cutting off a female infant…

I’m not sure what the reason it honestly. John Harvey Kellogg (yes, of Kellogg cereal fame) promoted it as a way to stop young boys from masturbating. He believed it would take the pleasure away from masturbating. No, it's not a Jewish conspiracy, /pol/ thinks everything is a Jewish conspiracy. They would think a bad bout of weather is a Jewish conspiracy. And Catholic dogma doesn't require it. I'm sure there's at least one protestant off-shoot that reverted back to certain Jewish traditions, su…

It's not a court, it's a dressed up, fancy arbitration agreement. Two parties are in conflict. They say: "Listen, we can't come to a decision, so we'll have someone else make the decision for us." So they get an unbiased third party (the arbitrator) and give them all the legal power, they lay out the issues, give their side of the story and then whatever the arbitrator decides is the legal contract. Same thing as with Judge Judy. The show's just a fancy arbitration.

It's why so many criminals get a lesser charge. I remember a few years back where a man was accused of sexually assaulting a very young child. Maybe a year or two old. He admitted he tore her hymen, but stated it had been an accident when he tripped or something like that. He ended up with just an assault charge and not a sexual assault charge because the prosecution didn't feel like they had enough evidence to convince the jury to hit him with a sex charge. Phimosis is a scarecow, a myth, promoted by greedy doctors with no understanding of natural development. Well, no, Phimosis is a legitimate medical condition, but it can't be diagnosed in newborns because their foreskins are naturally fused. Phimosis is merely the failure of the foreskin to defuse around the head of the penis. But, due to body physiology, it can only be properly diagnosed in adults. Now, if you are affected by Phimosis, there are less extreme measures, such as slowly stretching …

Well, to be fair there are situations in which circumcision might become a necessity. Like Phimosis. But Phimosis can only be properly diagnosed when the child is much older as the foreskin is naturally fused to the head. As such, I can not think of any legitimate reason to circumcise an infant.

By the time I was middle school and she was in high school, I probably had a good 60 pounds on her! Now it's probably 100 pounds. It's a woman of the same age. It ain't a like a 5 year old accidentally headbutted his crotch by not paying attention and then he proceeded to curb stomp her skull in. That would be a different matter entirely. He slapped the shit out of a woman who had the pretty clear intention of kicking him in the balls. So that the state doesn't have to pay for the kid. Not saying it's right, but it's the same reason why underage males who fell prey to pedophiliac women are required to pay for that fucker's kid. Because the child is his even though the state says he can't consent at that age. The state doesn't want to pay for the kid so they drop the responsibility onto the victim, now an adult male. It's disgusting. And people complain about states that allow rapists to sue for visitation, but they don't compl…

I do not go into a convenience store to have some nasty ass woman rubbing her disgusting ass that's been God knows where on my leg. If I go into a dance club, that's expected and I' be fine with it.

For some odd reason I'm highly doubtful a court would accept a remix video as evidence.

Well, that's hard to argue without full context. Perhaps he had pushed her away several times and believed the only way to stop her from attempting to do it again was a slap.

In most states, attempted theft can be met with reasonable force to stop the threat.

Well, the Courts have decided that it does not necessarily protect obscene speech. Mind you, obscene speech is very vaguely defined. But I imagine the Courts consider insulting them to be obscene speech.

"contempt of court" "Contempt of court, often referred to simply as "contempt", is the offense of being disobedient to or disrespectful towards a court of law and its officers in the form of behavior that opposes or defies authority, justice, and dignity of the court."

Apparently, the Judge had a Spanish accent or something similar. So the adios could have been seems a mocking gesture. Then she goes and erupts in court... Also, the definition of CoC disagrees with you: Contempt of court, often referred to simply as "contempt", is the offense of being disobedient to or disrespectful towards a court of law and its officers in the form of behavior that opposes or defies authority, justice, and dignity of the court.

From Another Redditor's Post: iirc the guy is on a show where they try to get a reaction out of him. She's supposed to use words to get people angry and have them get riled up - and she slapped him which is not only something she isn't supposed to do for the show, but it showed that he got a reaction out of her instead. Pretty sure guy sued the show over it and won, the guys coming in were beating the crap out of him and kicking him on the ground.

She was banging on a business' door for a while demanding to use the bathroom after it had closed... That's a far cry from asking. Oh, and she was also publicly intoxicated. Which is illegal.

it would probably be better for OP if he just never thought of her again, Eh, if it's real, then he's doing his due diligence and informing employers of a potential liability. Do you know how much money she could milk from an employer over a false sexual harassment claim?

I seriously don't know why anyone would upvote this post. Mayhaps it's because I'm not OP and I was the only one that went over to Cringepics and grabbed the link to the full convo for all the lovelies in PPD?

/u/hoberglobin I'm fairly certain companies can track your positions for a long while using your phones. Not to mention that even if the jury does go full retard and believe this bullshit, it's not going to stand when he takes it to appellate court. The appellate court's going to take one look at this ("He stole my phone! That's where the message came from!") And tell the bitch to fuck right off and release the guy. But like I said, I doubt the jury's going to go full retard.

And by the way, seems the mods agree that this isn't PPD material, because its not up on this sub anymore. GTFO of this sub if you dont understand it. Oh, really? You might want to check again, m8o. GTFO of this sub if you fail that badly. No moderator's posted in this thread with a mod tag saying that this submission's been removed. Simply put, you're wrong.

Americans drive on the right side of the road. Therefore, they were both driving "wrong". Edit: To the guys downvoting me, notice the quotation marks around "wrong"? Doesn't mean I agree with him. But that was the point of the joke. Americans drive on the "right" side of the road. Therefore everyone who drives on the left side of the road drives on the "wrong" side of the road.
