Having nobody listen with 100% concentration to what you are talking about is normal and expected, more so in group settings. It is not disrespect in itself by any means. Do your professors care when you don't pay attention when they give lectures? Do politicians constantly think about how many people really believe them when they give a speech? And on top of that, its on you to give a response when someone does choose to engage and they can choose to do or not do that at any time.
I often find talking with guys more stressful than with girls. If i am to overanalyze, I probably subconsciously believe men are more judgmental and it matters more if they think i'm boring/weird/whatever, while girls=giggity goofy all unserious
You should not “criticize, condemn or complain” out of something getting to you, since that means something is taking away your autonomy. You should only do something like that when it is for influencing others, not the other way around.
Coming up with these kinds of responses isn't hard per se, but is there anyone like me in that the tone I make it out always sound like I'm arguing as an inferior?
