I am of the mind that any false claim, but especially false rape claims, should carry an absolute min. prison sentence of 3.5 years. By this, I mean that the lying claimant is to serve no less than that long (they serve the entire sentence unless they die in prison).

In terms of civil suits, outside of statute of limitations, I really detest that there are loopholes that can stop those that can be sued from being sued or the suit is dropped by the courts.

Even in cases where it is proven a woman lied about rape, it seems that false rape cases are still treated with less seriousness.
