I am definitely in favor of people getting more fit and thus like the general message. That being said: the rest of your post is complete BS. You can NOT generally have a caloric intake of 5000 kcal a day and still be "mostly ok" just because you do some light exercise or walks. You will get fatter. In 99% of the cases it's not your "hormones" fucking you, it's just you being lazy, undisciplined and not having a habit of physical activity yet. Yes, genetics do play a part as with fatcells an…

Imagine wanting to have an easy life... How weak a character must one have to wanna go the path of least resistence or preoccupy oneself with the successes of others..

Ah yes, generalization and pseudo-science with a little bit of falsehood and half-truths; good stuff mate. Try to list relevant references next time and proof read your text if you want it to be anywhere near believable.

"The things you own, end up owning you" from Fight Club. Always found that one to be very true. You have smartphones, social media, consoles and games. You have families, houses, jobs, neighbourhoods and other possessions. All of it weights you down, wastes your time and prevents you from reaching your true potential. Not saying you should go full spartan without any of that, just keep it in mind and dont overbursen yourself with "things".

Can you link that study perhaps? It goes against basically everything I've ever heard.

Im balding since my mid 20s. I went full Vikings look with an awesome beard and shaved head (think Floki or later Seasons Ragnar, if you watch the TV Show). I think a good imperative in life is this: Change the things you can actually change, don't waste too much energy on those you can't influence. Everything you cannot influence, you just make the best of it. Some Men grow bald, some dont grow a beard, some are tall, others not so much. You take what you've been given and make the best of it. …

Good for you man! Also let this be a lesson for you, it's never too late to do what you want and always make time for what is most important to you. Enjoy getting and being fit & well!

Imagine calling proper nutrition and workouts a "privilege" even though a lot of people work their asses off and refrain from eating delicious stuff, in order to look and feel good. It's not privilege, people aren't born compelled to be fat or skinny. Just stop being a lazy fuck lmao.

Yeah, if you have to explicitly exclaim you're powerful.. you're probably not powerful.

So if all children spent half/half why is it your dad who needs to step up? Why not your mom? In any case, you can move out when you're 18 (or even earlier with your parents permit, depending on your local laws). Get a side job and earn some money. Ask your parents for support, I would imagine if he wants time for himseld and his GF your father might be supportive of such ambitions. In any case stop being so negative about it, it won't get you anywhere. See if you can change the situation, and i…

No, you got it wrong. The takeaway is, don't take in any stray cats, they will only leech your ressources and end up biting you, regardless of how good you've been to them.

In countries where it's free or heavily supported by the government (aka taxes you pay) I would definitely do it. If you have to take a high student loan it only makes sense if you have a clear goal already and the university degree is a prerequisite (think medschool or some STEM fields, lawyers etc). Have you considered moving to another EU country for studying? I believe there are exchange programs and the like, perhaps you can study without getting into huge debt.

What baffles me the most is, how somebody even questions himself in such a situation. I guess "love" really does blind people, if you look at this situation sober, there is no way you don't see how irresponsible, greedy and childish the woman is.

You are looking at this from the wrong angle man. If you are focussed on the attention you get from others, you are already playing a losing game. Put your focus and attention onto yourself and make yourself into a person you can respect and be proud of. Everything else will fall into place - and if it doesn't, it won't matter, because you will be at peace with yourself. (This goes for every country by the way, no point in hating/blaming things on your surroundings or circumstances)

England turning into a police state of Orwellian proportions.. not entirely unexpected I must admit, it's been going down that road for a while now.

I think it's not that they are generally afraid, but naturally less prepared for physical conflict. Their biological "toolkit" so to speak has them be more agreeable and avoiding actual fighting than, say, men. However to some degree social norms overwrite that, to the point where women think they don't have to be afraid, even if they physically attack men. Which leads to domestic abuse and delusional women who attack bigger men and are surprised when they get hit back. It's just not natural and…

I think the woman is right here for once. The guy should learn to do these Chores by himself. She is basically telling him to GHOW. If he breaks up with her, lives alone and learns to take care of himself and his home without anybodys help thats the ideal scenario I think.

Let them learn the hard way. There's only so many Ghostbusters, Charlies Angels, Terminator and other failed reboots they can make before the money runs out.

I act exactly as she describes when I go for a run. I am way to focussed to take much notice of other people. I am certainly not gonna screw up my breathing either lmao. If you are so fucking scared stay at home. If you are so casual about it, that you can do all the things she describes, it's probably not worth your time anyways..

Yea obviously the flour. The average Wheat flour is called White flour or also refined flour for a reason. I'm on mobile rn, but you can look up the production process of wheat flour online for sure. Should shed a little more light on the topic.

Depends on the type of pasta. The generic one is no better than white bread honestly. Whole grain pasta is better for sure, same goes for bread and rice. And yes - normal wheat - flour, bread, pasta, white rice etc IS in fact processed carbs. So try to avoid them. Meat and greens is taking it one step further still though I have no experience with that.

The right way to deal with adversity. Don't bitch, don't whine, don't give up - just fuckin' do what you have to do, to get where you wanna get and prove all of them wrong. Very nice!

In all things Workout, Fitness and Health related I usually always consider Jeff from AthleanX. He also put up a home workout video for times in which you cannot access the gym, check it out here if you'd like: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vc1E5CfRfos

Thanks for the information. Can you provide any relevant sources and citations for the amounts of Calcium and Magnesium you´re suggesting? It seems way higher than everything I have ever been recommended before.
