You have a very oversimplified & generalized view of the genders. I have no problem accepting that I'm physically weaker than most men- that isn't a trait I consider important when it comes to people's actual worth as human beings. I'm all for the idea of a woman-for anyone- taking practical steps to protect themselves with firearms or other methods. That was a fantastic movie. From this woman's perpective, I had trouble sympathizing with the female lead. Its understandable for her to be troubled by her husband's less-than-protective reaction, but from what I recall of the film, she just wouldn't let it go, & threatened the harmony of her family over it.

"Their value is derived from their sexual attractiveness" Maybe to you, & that's subjective. Others, & some women themselves, also derive worth from their talents, intelligence, ethics, everything else that goes with being human, not just the superficial. I'm not suggesting that physical appearance & sexuality are completely unimportant, but they're definitely not the only designator of a person's value, male or female.
