As a male I have no problem acknowledging that males are more prone to violence, crimes etc. But this especially goes for poorly socialized males e.g. from specific poor functioning non-democratic societies and cultures. Should we have solidarity with these men? Well, to some degree, but once poorly socialized, men are hard to help. So immigrant men cannot be integrated to western societies in numbers without incurring large costs, whereas women are far easier to integrate. It’s just basic facts…

No, I understand what you mean, but I disagree that it is possible to disentangle that clearly age and the other positives that are associated with age that woman do want, as you say. Yes, age (the number) is a negative trait narrowly in itself, but as I said, women want the things in a man that most often comes with age as well. At a certain point a too large age of gap becomes a large negative, yes, especially if the woman is inexperienced and in her early 20s, but relationships on average do …
/r/PurplePillDebate17/12/24 09:13 PM

Suggesting that women “settle” when they match with a 30+ is half the story, though. Often women want traits that are strongly associated with but also determined by age. Men in their 30s have what women look for: personality, status, physique, everything that takes time to build. Men in their 20s can also often look young. But you’re right in the sense that it is not the number itself they care about, and of course, the younger a man has achieved the above traits, the more attractive he is.

Yeah, I think it roots in biology. Some liberals are social constructivists though, and they would say its all due to culture, socialization and upbringing.

Yeah, I am a conservative and I think it is denial of reality not to acknowledge that men are more dangerous and e.g. the cause of most crime. Still, it’s a small minority we’re actually talking about.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/24 06:43 PM

But idk, I’m conservative and for abortions and homosexuality. I’m just not American.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/24 03:17 PM

Well at that point it wasn’t really about politics, but just about being poor and taking resources from others. Basic tribalism. It wasn’t about middle class liberals wanting to pay more taxes.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/24 03:04 PM

Reactionary is conservative.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/24 03:00 PM

USSR was not really liberal, it was reactionary socialist.

I have no idea what porn you’re watching. But I am telling you that people are downvoting you because their personal lifetime experiences with their uncut dicks are real and contradicts your absolute and generalizing statements, based on you having a sensitive dick at 17.

Only on Reddit No, it is simply just because you are wrong. I am uncircumcised and I can pound as hard as I want to. Blowjobs with direct contact to the head are not painful. You talk as if your experience up until the age of 17 is the truth. I have lived 20 years beyond that. While you might experience a stark reduction in sensitivity after being circumcised, sure, reduced sensitivity happens to everyone with age. You need to be less sure of things you have no experience with, just some free ge…

Well, the thing is, we do not have the proper empirical methods available to perfectly disentangle whether the observed outcome is due to something natural or cultural (or to which degree each is most important). However, near every mammal have the two sexes divided into different roles, with females taking on the most responsibility with regards to the offspring. It is hard to argue that this isn't originated in nature. Next, you need to argue hard that humans are somehow uniquely elevated beyo…

Yes, there’s research showing that the gender pay gap is close to nothing (a few percent as far as I remember) when you actually compare equal job titles and experience, and that women’s pay gap doesn’t appear until children, where they start to lag behind in experience and promotions.

Without male competition societal progress would (mostly) collapse, women (more than men, in general) are in not motivated in the same way to advance themselves and society.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/24 05:20 PM

If she’s hot and seems intelligent it might be worth it at least to try and reason with her, but depending how radical she is it’s just not a viability for LTR.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/24 03:54 PM

Sure I don't disagree it can be a factor, but I don't see it as a +200 vs 0 matches factor nor the determining factor here. My point was that there are things that I think OP could change with success, and she is focusing on the lesser important things she can't change for some reason. But again that's also subjective, as I said.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/24 09:44 PM

I think there's actually some things she could change about herself that would make herself more attractive, but that's also subjective. It's true that women can also struggle for reasons they can't change, but I am just not sure OP is the example.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/24 09:32 PM

Yeah but at that point after hooking up with the male career MBA grad and popping out kids they can chill in some low-key corporate job to still keep some allowance-level income and some illusion of contributing (I guess it might still be more than Hooters).

Some of that self control is focused into not whining on the internet about the lack of sex, and/or focusing the energy to actually go find someone to fuck. Many people not posting on the internet would fuck a lot of things given the opportunity, also depending on how accessible it is, even if they would never admit it. Thing is, learned self-control means OP has no clue what these men are actually feeling like in their head, and also have no idea whether he can actually speak for them. Some men…
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/24 02:36 PM

Sure, yes. My point was just that we have to be open to our experiences not being not being the end truth. And that generalization in debates is a way to make statements about the world about possible patterns, even if it doesn’t means it happens to everyone all the time, or it doesn’t mean that everyone is the same.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/01/24 05:47 PM

Not sure it’s a real disagreement, just rather it’s difficult to know what possibility matters the most from subjective experiences. You’ve never seen what above posters discuss, so I suppose that might make you biased against the possibility. But all it would take is one jealous friend to have it happen to you. Good for you that you don’t, I suppose.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/01/24 05:34 PM

Problem is if we don’t generalize to some degree we can never discuss the possibility of anything. For sure though, we might never get hard objective “43% of women do this”-data. But what the above poster suggests could be happening a lot from his perspective, while you never see it. And it could be because he is in the business of approaching women, meaning he sees a lot, while you don’t, or he could just be unlucky, or there could be something wrong with him such that women drag their friends …
/r/PurplePillDebate03/01/24 05:21 PM

If you’re out two people only with the purpose of catching up, sure. Sometimes people go out in groups and are looking for things to happen, dance etc. If one person goes missing you’re still in a group.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/01/24 05:08 PM

Real friends wouldn’t, no, but often in life, in particular when you are young, you might have lots of new friendships that are not meant to last, in particular because you haven’t discovered yet how they act when they are jealous, don’t get their way etc., or because some young people haven’t learned yet that you lose friends if you sabotage them.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/01/24 05:05 PM

Women might be more passive towards people they don’t know, like men, and more active towards people they know, like their friends. Some might have difficulties saying no to an intrusive friend. Some women might be jealous of their friends and intrude. Not all women are the same, some might do these things while others don’t. But overall, the pattern could exist even if it’s not your anecdotal experience.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/01/24 05:00 PM

You won’t, others will, everyone is not the same. Still, there might be a pattern.

If dudes are confused then the best way to figure out what works is REAL LIFE trial and error. Well, yeah. But at least some people will avoid trial and erroring things they've heard are wrong. The solution as you say is just to go outside more and stop listening to social media and realize it's not representative. But I guess it wouldn't also hurt if there were more nuanced opinions available on social media. Women with more ordinary world views really have no incentive to go into this debate, …

That it’s not appropriate for him to cold approach so if he does I’m going to coldly reject him. No I think you missed my point, what I said is that there is a vocal group of women that doesn't like stuff, but they sound like they speak for most women, which confuses men. Many women are probably fine with approaches, but they're not activists, there are just out there living their lives. Age gap was an example of the same dynamic. Vocal group of women are against, women out there living their li…
/r/PurplePillDebate26/10/23 02:44 PM

Problem is that the very vocal and activist group of women that partake in debates on boundaries and norms often communicate in very absolute terms, sounding like they do speak for most women, which unfortunately is difficult to interpret for (some) men. But yeah, the solution is to realize this group doesn’t hold the truth. Discussions on age gaps on Reddit is another clear example. In any relationship advice subreddit post an age gap of 5+ years is surely mentioned and upvoted as a major red f…
/r/PurplePillDebate26/10/23 02:05 PM

For men, not asking women out is a prisoner’s dilemma game. If you don’t ask women out, other men will do it. There’s no way men would be able to coordinate on asking women out less, because women would still not ask men out enough. The men that would deviate and ask women out a lot would get many dates, while the men who didn’t ask would have to rely on women’s initiative and get few dates.

The implication of men being dangerous is, yes, women should be careful when they go out at night, they should learn to avoid situations where they can be alone with a man, e.g. going home with someone they do not want sex with. However, saying this publicly is going to get you instantly cancelled as a victimblamer. No, people are not to blame for what others do to them. However, risk can be avoided, and that is a truth that should not be supressed. All I want is for people not to gaslight each …

Right, I agree with what you're saying and why it works, but my point is it might just as well still be a numbers game for the guy in your example, you're just not observing it or suspecting it because of his naturalness, which is why he is successful. He is likely also more successful at the numbers game as well. But it's still a numbers game he needs to go into, because for every example like yours, he probably still approached organically a handful of times with no result. Anyway, in relation…

Catcalling absolutely does not happen here on the streets in Copenhagen, Europe. It an absolute rarity that strangers communicate on the street here and it is in most cases seen as weird to do unless you’re like a tourist asking for directions. There’s basically no talking on the street here except for people already knowing each other walking together, and if you tried to catcall somebody it would stick out like a sore thumb. I suppose it could happen if you go to specific bar streets in the ni…

16/18 vs 10/17 is statistically significant at p=0.018 with a fisher exact test or p=0.043 with a two proportion z-test. So yeah the result could have happened at random if people rushed trough, but the likelihood of the observed result given no true difference is rather low even with the sample size. The result at least warrants a follow up with a larger sample.

However, all you have to do is look at animals to realize that males and females have different behaviors that are biological in nature and not culture. The question for humans though is how much is culture and how much is biology. Totally disregarding the importance of biology like some feminists do, I’m not buying it.

We need to generalize in order to say anything at all, but of course exceptions are always true even if there are average gender differences.

Sure, it applies to both men and women. The difference is that women do not find men attractive until they got their shit together. Men on the other hand care less about women's career, drive etc.

I'm not sure it's so clearly identical/the straight opposite. The idea is that some degree of red pill strategy will help any man, as most women are attracted by it (in theory), even those who are highly educated or liberal. The "optimal feminine strategies" from that sub however, will scare away a good fraction of men, who won't take bullshit (with some of it negated by how beautiful the woman is). Of course, if your goal is just to serially score dinners from weak men, it might be fine.

Being too skinny is not attractive either, and for a lot of people with that body type (myself included) it really helps with attractiveness to work out some (without becoming a body builder).

When you say muscles, you’re thinking of body builders. What you don’t realize is that it actually requires working out to look like what you consider normally attractive.

Sure, but humans are generally risk averse and rightfully so. Even if the probability of being in danger is low, just one instance of lowering your guard in the wrong situation can end catastrophically with permanent consequences. It’s perfectly natural to weigh these low probably, high loss outcomes heavily.

If you get options in life there is a chance you will take it. Yes, but women are more likely to get thrown options at them without effort. So you just have act on an option that feels right in the moment, making it easy to branch swing. As a man you usually have to put yourself out there and create attraction before options open up. You have to actively seek unfaithful behaviour.

I agree with you, but it may be difficult to separate the qualities that azngirl7689 genuinely likes in her partner from the qualities that makes her partner attractive in general giving him options (high SMV), and how much her attraction are rooted in either of these two possibilities. Obviously she's going to say it's all the former and not the latter, but it's also quite likely she would not date a hermit version of her otherwise identical boyfriend.

I would set mine to 28-29 just to get around the age filters (am 32). Unfortunately I think most girls would dump you if they found out. Not just because you lied, but because it makes you seem less confident in who you are. I’m not sure if there a good way to deal with that.

No, at least I don’t. Before I have sex with a woman, I know for sure whether she is someone I would like to have a relationship with or not. Of course, if the sex doesn’t work that could change my mind. While good sex could never convince me to move someone out of the fuck zone.
