In India 🇮🇳 you don't even need father's name on birth certificate. If you're married to woman and she has child within marriage (even if it's not yours Proven by DNA ) You're liable for child support and alimony if you divorce her. Edit : paternity test isn't allowed in India. Only when court gives approval where divorce is inevitable.
