I agree that it sucks that girls have to feel uncomfortable in a situation like that. But if they are going to get rejected anyway because the girl has a boyfriend, isn’t it also awkward to do this after the guys buys her a drink? Arguably even more so?

I appreciate this comment and you are 100% on the money. I was honestly really annoyed and I’ll just avoid conversations like this in the future because I don’t want to have a debate with someone if there is no point.

Yeah and it’s completely fine imo. But I think intentions from both sides are clear. It’s safe to assume when a guy buys a girl a drink he is interested in her. This is not an obligation on the part of the girl to have sex at all, but if she has a boyfriend she should say so instead of leading him on.

She argued that its even wrong to ASSUME men are buying her a drink because they’re interested in her. This triggered he…

I think buying a girl a drink isn’t a big deal and you’re lying if you don’t think girls appreciate it.

Abundance mentality is key. Just flirt with her and keep it light. If she gets to see who you are outside of chasing her she may be attracted to you. Keep talking to other girls.

Then present yourself in a way that wouldn't warrant such a stereotype. If every single one of the Kardashians can be considered attractive there has to be a cure for you.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
