Q4W: Do you believe/know/think that your grandmothers have never loved your grandfathers?I'm sure she did (despite him being awful) but she has told me repeatedly that women today are very lucky because they have the option of a nice life on their own if that's what they want. I don't think she would have stayed if that was a viable option | /r/PurplePillDebate | 20/03/23 10:34 PM
Is the bar really “in hell”?Agree, I never really considered those things a "standard" as I've never dated anyone that awful. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 23/01/23 07:56 PM
WGTOW Evidence?Yeah...similar observations here. Plus i lived it and it wasn't for me. I can't have kids but it seems like lots of women tolerate this dynamic so they can have a family. My ex though mowing our little city lawn (poorly) once a month and trimming the hedges (leaving me to do the branch cleanup from the sidewalk) was a sufficient domestic contribution for the month | /r/PurplePillDebate | 23/01/23 07:37 PM
Do most men consider 30 year old women to be too old?Yup, the story of my life at 38. I've had to start watching my calories closely after "intuitive eating" my 20s and early 30s and not gaining at all. I'm way more active now too. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 08/11/22 01:55 AM
Women of Reddit. Have you ever agreed to a date or gave a guy your number from cold approach? No, however two of those occasions I would have said yes if I was single at that time. Both times i thought he was cute and we had a light small talk as both were waiting situations (one was at a bus stop and other waiting for a takeout order) | /r/PurplePillDebate | 27/08/22 01:49 AM
What are common ways men and women shoot themselves in the foot?If you are on OLD and a M4W anything negative in your profile or listing what you don't want is a terrible idea. You are going to drive away women who are your target audience. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 10/08/22 06:49 PM
If standards are 'on the floor' for men, how high is the floor?I'm in a ladies group and a woman posted that she was pissed that her app date politely canceled with a (likely made up) excuse 2 hours before the date and how rude that was. Others chimed in that it's actually pretty considerate instead of just not showing or blowing her off 10 minutes before the date was too start. Cue the bar is on the floor comments. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 09/08/22 02:05 AM
Do you think a woman’s maintenance level changes depending on the man she’s with?Exactly this! Looks or money doesn't really matter too much once the honeymoon phrase ends unless of course you have enough money to outsource the drudge. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 22/06/22 09:34 PM
Is creepy just code for unattractive/ugly?Definitely, younger women are way more prone to this, I heard it among my peers in high school and college all the time. It drove me nuts because it was so watered down and subjective (like the things you described, mundane crap like wearing a "weird" outfit). Thus the term became meaningless which might be problematic if someone was actually acting threatening. Most of them grew out of it though... honestly now i only hear it if a guy will not bow out gracefully after a very clear no thanks | /r/PurplePillDebate | 20/06/22 05:01 AM
How will the increasingly large education between the sexes affect dating in the future?I'm in my late 30s, single. I would say I'm not content to be single and i do enjoy the advantages that a partnership has on the practicalities of life along with just having someone to hang with. However I'm not willing to date someone who is going to make my life more stressful just for the sake of a partner. I also fully expect my partner to pass before me or possibly abandon me if I get cancer so I'm taking that into account when planning for the future. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 25/05/22 04:55 PM
What are some shortcuts guys can use to get better results with women?Ah! Yeah...pits are so popular here they don't stand out as much to passerbys. He has one of those "lassie" type collies | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/05/22 05:31 PM
What are some shortcuts guys can use to get better results with women?A cute or unique dog! My brother's has one and so many women stop in on the street to ask about his pup, super easy conversation starter. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/05/22 05:23 PM
Q4W: How much do you contribute to traditionally male household duties? He mows the lawn like 25% of the time but that's only after ample nagging. I take pride in the outside of my house so unless i want to wait weeks for him to "get around to it" I do it myself (and i only mow 2x a month). Same goes for car stuff, hedges, home repair (like hanging stuff, we rent). I also do all the inside deep cleaning and 80% of the daily stuff. We split 50 /50 expenses despite him making 2x my salary and working the same number of hours. As you can imagine, the resentment is pret… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/05/22 10:51 PM
Why are most divorces initiated by women rather than the man?My sister's marriage ended like this too. He asked, moved out, and then started dating again but would not take the initiative to file the papers. It was a very cut and dry situation with no kids and equal earners too. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 10/05/22 07:21 PM
when it comes to the bill, handle it proportional to incomeYeah, I'm in a 5 year relationship and he makes 3x my income and insists on 50/50 and realistically i do almost 80% of the housework and cooking too although that is allegedly 50/50 too (lol). His job is more stressful than mine but we both work 40+ hours a week. I'm pretty resentful honestly | /r/PurplePillDebate | 05/04/22 03:09 PM
