I agree with this. I guess someone being attracted to the person makes it so much easier. Attraction is king

I understand what you mean . I think I should’ve used a better word than bewitching. It made the whole thing sound very fantastical and magical. It makes sense though to captivate someone with your interest in them then reel them in with your personality. I can buy that . Although I recognize this may not work every time

Good point to mention. There is definitely a threshold of attractiveness. I was kind of wondering to what extent confidence helps. I know you mentioned a bridge troll looking woman wouldn’t have success but what about a slightly below average one

So do you think in that scenario that the man would be actually attracted to the woman or simply just bewitched by her confidence ? Assuming that the woman is approaching her “looks match”

That’s a good idea to talk to some male friends about this !

I think I enjoy the idea of being pursued because it means that you’re more desirable. Mentally, I feel sometimes if I approach a man myself, that he doesn’t want me in the first place. However, I agree on the importance of putting effort into the relationship

Yeah I’ve noticed that unattractive/average women are often ignored with conversations of approaching crop up.

I’m glad you never make fun of the women you reject. That shows a good bit of character. Also what features or aspects do you think makes a woman unattractive ?

That’s an interesting response. I agree that confidence can only really be a good thing. And you make a good point of saying how it just gives you more options. Do you think a super outgoing average girl would do better than a more introverted hot girl in terms of finding a man who desires her?

That’s a good point I overlooked. Being comfortable with what you have and using your positives to your advantage. I’m curious how you think someone can become more confident ?

So you’re saying that the man is less likely to be mean or rude if she is on his level? Though the man is unlikely to say yes due to the nature of approaching?

I enjoy this response. Good for her!!

He most definitely did. This may be a little emotion filled since I’m still very frustrated. So, this is a relatively new relationship, but he asked me to be his Valentine’s. Therefore, I ,incorrectly, assumed he would be getting me a gift. I ended up searching for a really nice and special gift for me. He got it and was elated. Though he had nothing for me in return. Not even a card or flowers or really anything. So yeah, I’m a fool. A fool who is now out of $20.00 something odd-dollars.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
