Mostly likely you were conned into signing up for Selective Service at some point. If you've ever had to fill out a government document, odds are there was some fine print that let them copy over your information into the Selective Service registry.

You're right, it's not like trans people have to go through lengthy legal processes with validation from their physician, therapist, and endocrinologist verifying that they've gone through extensive hormone replacement treatments, are "properly" diagnosed, and live full-time as their new gender in order to have that M changed to an F or vice versa. I don't even understand what you're trying to say. Being trans is a privilege? Having bodily dysphoria is literally the definition of being transgender. Being trans is not about the gender binary, it's about the sexual binary. Trans people are not just unhappy with their gender, they're unhappy with their sex, but unfortunately we don't live in a world where genuinely changing sex is possible. If you can't understand that difference, then I don't know what else to say.

Doesn't that open you up to consistency issues? If we can explain the social differences between men and women by simply saying that they are fundamentally different, then why can't the same be applied to races? In my experience, the UN usually deals with third world, impoverished, or otherwise socially unjust nations, and in those places women often times genuinely do have it worse than their male peers. I don't know the details in this particular situation, but let's not start getting up in arms every time somebody mentions helping women.

Completely anecdotal, but I've tried to talk my mother, sister, and two of my cousins out of circumcising their to-be-born sons, and their only reason for wanting to do it is because they wanted their sons to be "normal". One of them was forward enough to say that she thought uncircumcised penises looked disgusting. Health benefits or lack thereof are totally a non-factor to them.
