2	Guy's kid gets aborted, the lack of empathy is deafening. First of all: ascribing motives to a person you do not know and an arguement you are unfamiliar with. That would be like me suggesting that the only reason that you want abortion to be legal is because you get a kick out of coercing young women into having them. There is no basis for that. But the choice arguement often seems to revolve, at least in "progressive" circles, around medical and financial risk. On an entirely theoretically moral plane, I tend to agree: a fault is a fault, regardless of whom on which it is wrested. However, the act of childbirth does represent a greater risk of physical harm to the mother, even given our modern medicine, at least in common understanding de monde.
