A lot of incels are incredibly hateful and misogynistic and talk about women like they aren’t even people. I’m not saying everyone who self IDs as an incel is like that but that’s 100% the main perception people have of them as a group and one of the main things you’ll see in most incel groups online.

This is messed up. It’s fine if you aren’t interested in people who value money as a big or central part of what they look for in a partner but you shouldn’t be leading them on and lying to them like this.

This is so silly. Do you think your guy friends are using you just for attention because they don’t have sex with you?

Enjoying makeupp doesn't make anyone souless or an excuse for a human being. Some ppl just enjoy how it makes them look and that's okay.

Why do people see beards as more intimidating ? Wouldn’t it just be an easy thing to pull on in a fight?

It’s really not though. A lot of people have been raped by conventionally attractive people or even their own partners/spouses who they thought they were attractive enough to get with. There’s a myriad of reasons someones sexual advancements could be unwanted aside from just thinking they’re physically unattractive.

If someone says they’re not interested in you beyond being a friend, it’s not impossible they could change their mind but you absolutely should not make it a goal to change how they feel.

Is there a good resource to play around with the phi mask? I’m kind of curious to try asking my friends to rate a bunch of pictures of randomly people and then seeing for myself how well it lines up with the masks.

Isn’t the fact that just about any two people can find a person they disagree on about how attractive they are kind of show you can’t objectively describe what all humans find attractive or not. Like don’t get me wrong I understand that there is a lot of convergence on how people respond to appearances that can then go on to have measurable and predictable effects on the person, I’d never want to diminish the importance of recognizing that, but even then it seems useful to understand there’s sti…

That kind of tracks for me. I wasn’t too concerned about getting Covid myself since I didn’t have to work in close contact with a lot of people but Covid is definitely something I take very seriously & see as very dangerous to a lot of vulnerable people & I also really like big tall strong kind of masc women more than I like really small lithe fem women. That’s just one point of anecdotal evidence but still interesting. Maybe guys who feel like there’s more danger or things to worry about in the…

To be fair, this studies subjects were mostly white people and also didn’t study people from around the world or very different time periods. Maybe attractiveness is more important for people who went to high school in the 50s or in the Western world. The study also couldn’t account for the possibility that maybe happier people take care of how they look more, smile more, or somehow exude more confidence or positive ways of holding themselves such as agreeableness that cause them to be seen as m…

“It seems like most of the techniques I see promoted ARE essentially victimizing people though. ” That’s messed up. Ignore anything that comes off that way and look else where for advice. Just being honest about treating others awfully doesn’t make it okay lol

That’s a deeply unhealthy way to view relationships. Instead of two people being in a relationship because one abused the other into it, it can be two people be in a relationship because they’re both better off that way and want to be in it. Instead of preying on girls that have no self esteem or are otherwise vulnerable to being abused into thinking they need you for their lives to have value, you can just be someone that really does enhance or otherwise add value to their life. You should care…

You just shouldn't make people dependant on you to begin with. That's not an okay thing to do to anyone. It reflects a mindset where you prioritize getting what you want over any concern for another person's well being which isn't ethical at all. It's fine if you want to have a relationship where the other person greatly values the role you play in their life but that's not the same as trying to create a relationship where someones afraid to leave you (even if that would be good for them) becaus…

Most people aren't attracted to serial killers. It's a very strong but still niche attraction that people have for them.

We should make it easier for guys to get emotional support from their platonic relationships so they don't have to rely on their girlfriends/wives so much.

Wasn't expecting guys to care about height so much. Seems like you want to be as tall as possible while still being shorter than the guy you are after. Poor tall girls ouch.

That's probably a good thing. If you're only with someone because you aren't aware of people you would like more then that isn't really an ideal relationship.

It's a way of looking at power dynamics that focuses on how the way different aspects of a persons identity overlap can affect them. A black women could have unique problems that don't affect all women or all black people for example.

"Want to be treated like damsels in distress again". I don't know what you mean by this. Are you implying that Trans-men are doing it for attention? I'm not trying to be antagonistic btw I'm just genuinely confused.

Is it because they think their at a higher probability of being terrorist? Il be honest I really don't understand how the Immigration system works or how they vet people coming in. The article made some good points about single men who lost their parents or are gay. What is the probability of a single woman being a terrorist. I can only imagine how rough it must be for these guys.

Mutilate implies harm and damage. Sex operations for transgender people (if done right) will more times than not make the person feel better and more comfortable in their body. If a change to the body improves happiness, productivity, and the ability to function than surly mutilate is not a proper term for said context.

I don't actually see the purpose of having toys marketed toward different genders. Sure sexual dimorphism will lead to a difference in interest between most boys and girls but why not just let that happen naturally as oppose to pushing what we think is suppose to be a boy toy or a girl toy.

Denoting anyone you disagree with insane isn't helpful to the conversation. I'm of the position that people of the female sex can be of the male gender (and vice-versa). I also believe it's for the best of peoples well being to respect the gender identity of others.
