I have never paid for a date in my 40+ years. I only go on dates when I’m asked. When he pays I make sure to be extra gracious and appreciative. For future dates I only take a man out if it’s his birthday.

I did CrossFit for a couple of years and I felt this way about a lot of the female athletes. Strongest women I’ve ever seen! I felt some had a more masculine build due to us lifting upper body and lower body with similar weights.

I never thought of this but I’m experiencing this now! My bf played college football and is the manliest man I’ve ever been with. He’s a provider. He works hard at work and then comes home to do more work around the house and yard. He has also said in the future he didn’t want me to have to work if I didn’t want to. He’s awesome!

My man is 7 years younger than me. Like you I didn’t think I would be submissive if there wasn’t a significant age gap with the man being older. I now know that it’s possible. My man is very dominant. It may help that he’s so big compared to me. Lol! 6’3 to my 5’1.5. He’s not controlling but he has a take charge attitude. He is a provider and very protective.

Yes it will make a huge difference! I’m 5’1.5 and was once up to 162lbs. I now weigh 123. I not only look better but I also have sooo much more energy. It has also made me girlier. Lol! Good luck on your journey!

I use to have a problem with having a reaction that was appropriate for the situation. Something would happen that deserved about a level 2 or 3 reaction. Mine would be at 9 or 10. I started taking Wellbutrin which helped my reaction match the situation. Therapy also helped me sort through my feelings.

I’m not sure why it took me so long to realize this! I am 40 and just now having the type of relationship I dreamed about. All it took was for me to lean back, do less and appreciate/respect more.
