If you live or are a guest in someone else's house as an you follow the rules of their house. If you are an adult and don't like the rules you move out or leave. It's understood that the loss of certain liberties are the cost of her continuing to stay there, not only rent free but provided for as if she were still a child. After thinking about it, it has to do with your third example. The first two show unreasonable responses to situations in life where in the last being in a relationship with someone where monogamy is expected and having that boundary broken the reaction is not unreasonable. One of these is not like the others and all that.

I get that your main point is AWALT and you need to roll with the punches as far as that is concerned which I agree with. However you also frame it in a way, intentional or not that makes it sound like men should not expect to be able to set boundaries or have an emotional response to those boundaries being broken. Which is going to be a hard sell here since that's a major part of the feminist narrative, men having expectations for women's behavior is oppressive.

Sure, they aren’t scientifically peer-reviewed and all that jazz I admit, but can multiple articles, multiple sources on the internet all supporting our general thesis be wrong? Then they aren't viable sources, if I want non peer reviewed information I can already go to the SJWs for that. You're just getting into a 'feels' argument otherwise.

I think it's more accurate to say you don't appreciate exactly how different things have become for those building a relationship since feminism grew in prominence and morphed throughout your marriage and changed the landscape for others married roughly around or after your 12th anniversary. Simply consider the divorce rates today. You might find that girl worth making a wife and form a lasting relationship strengthened by time... but myself, I don't gamble with those kinds of odds.

My point wasn't to do with quality of the care they received with a half century back in medical advances and more that if you got sick you could afford to get what care was available or even see a doctor regularly whereas today for many the cost of healthcare is prohibitive. In addition the costs rose not only due to changes in technology but also their generation fighting and allowing for an unregulated industry in the name of profit.

We are brainwashed into thinking marriage and children are huge drags. ? I'd say the brainwashing attempt is that marriage is the gold standard of happiness and children are the most fulfilling and wonderful things that could ever happen to us and we'll understand it when we have them. In reality we can see that Marriage has become toxic to men and anyone with eyes can see that kids are a great deal of work and that you have no way of knowing if you're suited to parenthood until it's too late.

You should have provided that information in the first place. Considering the number of videos where white knights assault a man who is just trying to get out of a violent situation with a woman, most men don't care what the circumstances are and it was a safe assumption without the information that you were one of them.
