I'd be more comfortable with a virgin since I happen to be one myself but I won't rule a partner out if sex was done in serious relationships. If we're talking about those fboys who sleep with as many women as possible only to want a virgin to marry then no. Our values would not align and it's not great to enter a relationship with a hypocrite.

Same here. People seem to believe that if you come from a traditional household and is a virgin you're automatically sane but I'm still healing from a lot of trauma that will keep me from being a good gf let alone wife and that's whether I start having sex tomorrow or not.

As someone who didn't necessarily grew up poor but from humble beginnings, I was surrounded by the badboys (drugdealers, serial baby daddies ect...) a lot. All they did was bully me. It didnt make me wet or attracted to them it just made me cry myself to sleep. Then my parents got enough money to move to a better neighborhood.

That's why I'm not vocal about my virginity. The problem is that when I say that it's none of their business they assume I have a high body count. Reminds me of the movie KIDS (1995) and I don't wanna end up like Darcy

Virgin here and I agree. To me it's not the question itself that's disheartening but the mentality that comes with people who have a proclivity to ask about a woman's bodycount. Madonna-whore complex, objectification and misogyny usually (not all the time) overlap with these kinds of questions.

I was becoming radical from lurking female only subs. I eventually wanted to get to know perspectives outside of my own. Learned a lot through this sub and it made me a lot more mature and magnanimous towards others, which I always look forward to be. Still got a long way to go and I gotta learn that people criticizing (or sometimes even insulting) you shouldn't be taken personally.

/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/22 03:03 AM

Personally no because the rp at it's core doesn't align with my morals and the person I look forward to be. In order to become something (in my case mature, kind, loving, genuine) , you have to stray from what you don't want to be (self-seeking, dark triad imitation, prejudice). Also the rp isn't a very poignant doctrine on it's own. Most rp talking points are just basic knowledge drowned out at the hands of today's left-leaning status quo.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/22 02:35 AM

Reminds me of a practice called breast ironing. It's done to ''developped'' girls to ward off these kinds of men. So sad that innocent women bear the brunt of some men's shortcomings :(
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/22 11:18 PM

Quite frankly I believe it's better off that way. It will show who has more to bring to a relationship other than sex and also point out people who get into relationships for the sole purpose of constant sex. Then men and women can adjust according to their motives.

Yea but some of us wait for moral/religious purposes. I don't think I should be castigated for waiting until I trust the person or marriage, especially in a social frame where using people for personal gain is ubiquitous. Also if women having sex wasn't met with shaming I do believe it would shift the waiting game since it can be rooted into not wanting a reputation. I do believe however that women should transparent about not wanting to do it to filter out the ones with insidious intentions and…

The cool cheerleader basically. I always liked dancing and sports. Minus the bullying others and having 3 boyfriends a year (I wasn't allowed to) stereotype, I fit the trope pretty well. I made great memories. What's the meme name for the basic NPC women who are super girly? Cause that's what I was. And still am.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/22 08:13 AM

It depends on the extent. Under certain circumstances it can fall under coercion which on a legal stance counts as rape in certain countries. Telling victims to say no and leaving is a pretty insular response because some people are blackmailed, threatened ect... which makes it much harder to say no. Here is a video explaining consent : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pZwvrxVavnQ

/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/22 03:44 AM

I think both are true and that people should be more magnanimous towards abuse victims in general. Regardless of gender. People who answer that way don't realize how callous it sounds for the abused. The goal should be to help them recover not trivialize their trauma and castigate victims based on choices that are often (upon further research) out of their control.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/22 03:43 AM

It's usually men who use the choose better schtick towards women not the other way around. In my humble opinion neither sides can take whatever they dish out.

I've always found this to be ironic considering how Patrice is a very well respected figure within the rp, especially the black manosphere. Many of these men would seethe if a woman said that.

/r/PurplePillDebate10/01/22 05:15 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/22 06:39 AM

Another thing to add is that not only flase accusations are not inherently done in the name of a feminist cause/goal but also a lot of feminists have called out false accusers multiple times because it makes it harder for victims to speak out. It's pretty rare that when a man is proven to be falsely accused on the news, feminists content creator scream of joy. Incels (the .co ones at least) on the other hand scream ''Lifefuel'' at acid attacks, DV, rape and the human rights crisis in Afghanistan…

Because for most of human history female sexuality was/is (in patriarchal countries) a commodity. Woman=object, object = better when new. This desolating belief of overrating female virginity would eventually justify ignominious sexism against women and girls such as : child marriage, FGM, hymen tests, marry-your-rapists laws, honor killings and slutshaming.

Both parents married, pretty biblical but egalitarian at the same time. Nothing too strict. I would say my upbringing was purple pilled. As for how it affects my romantic life ; I'm not allowed to actively date until I'm 25 and it has to be for the purpose of getting married. Kinda sucks sometimes.

I don't speak for all virgins but as for my journey to celibacy I realized that it's pretty dehumanizing to work on your character as much as possible and realize that the only thing that can make you marriageable is the fact that your unalloyed sexuality is the same thing as a shiny object. The untouched hymen is first valued, personhood is secondary. On top of that the guys who think that way usually have a lot of baggage from their fboy/redpill phase and I don't want it to be projected on me,…

I think you're looking at the feminist movement from a narrow and biased point of view. It's a pretty broad ideology, not just some pernicious stereotype from a 2016 SJW compilation. For example, promiscuous women can be against purity culture, but so can abstinent women such as myself. Feminism can include crop-top wearing women as well as hijabi women. I'm not the most fond of the movement (because I think egalitarianism fits my views better) but even I'm lucid enough to know that feminism is …

I think sometimes it almost seems like non HVM wether within the redpill or the blackpill have this tendency to pin what they would do if they had that much SMV onto the HVM who they don’t encounter on a daily basis. Nothing more then projection so to speak. It’s like when middle class people believe that every billionaire is dripping in Gucci, LV and fancy exotic cars all the time when actually Bill Gates wardrobe is pretty basic and he’s far from a flashy guy.

Even with those ressources depending on the situation it’s hard and that’s only in the West. It is much worse outside of Occidental countries. But please just try to empathize and understand what these people go through and perhaps talk to someone who works with them or has credentials on the matter. It may not bend your point of view on abused people but it will give you a better insight.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/21 04:19 PM

It’s easier said than done for these women, people saying that they should just leave come off as tone deaf and insular. There are many reasons as to why it’s hard for abused people to leave.

Never been in a relationship but my two cents is that abuse (especially emotionally) is an insidious process. It’s not really flat out in your face like reading an incel.co “a girl got raped therefore lifefuel” type of post. The person doesn’t necessarily hit you right away or use tactics as blatantly so it can be confusing. The benefit of the doubt is weaponized, the gaslighting got you slowly but surely doubting reality and quite frankly some people try their best to make the relationship go b…

It’s a bit much to say deception = rape. I mean women are deceptive too with makeup, waist trainers and push up bras. So no I don’t think that should be a law fo either gender. As for PF, the woman should either pay it back with interest or if she cannot then do the jail time of at least a hefty fine.

Dude I’m just too introverted to know everything about today’s dating/hookup scene. Nothing to do with promiscuity or solipsism. My apologies if I didn’t figure out your point of view sooner.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/21 11:40 PM

She’s so pretty but let’s be honest the standard for 2021 is to look like a Bratz doll so she falls short. I do find her to be an elegant natural beauty.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/21 11:31 PM

We all know in comparison he still could’ve done better. In spite of being an attractive actress her RMV ;not SMV mind you is not that great (at least according to OP’s point). Same for Jason Momoa , Nick Jonas and Russell Wilson. They all took women who don’t match them however they seem to do better than some couples who "stay within their lane"
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/21 11:10 PM

You shouldn’t be talking to me like that you’re 28 so your eggs are like the Sahara desert you’re lucky I gave you a chance because I usually date 18-21 year olds because muh 50 year old SMV go brrrr 😎

We all know that, it doesn’t stop some from getting good men though. Megan Markle is a good example. Dating works in multiple ways and dimensions when you consider the complexity of people.

It’s not about consent more about the aftermath of "Chad not calling back" . If you have a word for this mating strategy let me know and I’ll edit my comment :)

The whole "if you’re used then you aimed too high" argument is getting played out. There’s plenty of average dudes who aren’t in that frame of mind because they’re young and want to taste the hookup culture before settling down. People are shitty, top people get away with being shitty. Though I must admit I’m not on Tinder so don’t take my opinion at face value.

Could you please elaborate? Because I’m kind of on your side but I also don’t want to be biased to the point of downplaying how much the RP has helped some men. Like I said, it showcases and explains red flags in women, promotes self improvement and holds people accountable. Obviously it has its downs but other ideologies aren’t exempt from that. I must ask, if you don’t like the RP, what platforms or ideologies do you suggest?

/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/21 12:43 AM

I don’t think it’s the RP that’s the problem it’s the circle jerking on the platform so to speak. Same with FDS. They both have good talking points in terms of navigating your dating life (red flags, how to not get used, self improvement) but the worst people highjack the doctrine which consequently gives it a bad rep. It’s also very hard because both sides have an ungodly ego so no one argues in good faith which makes them come off as very insular.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/21 12:42 AM

It depends on the girl’s upbringing. Sometimes it’s both since people gain maturity through life lessons which is done over time.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/21 04:15 PM

Ok but the same can be said about women. If you want a good man and your weight is above 200lbs at 35 with a kid outside of wedlock, complaining about fertility and beauty standards won’t get you that Calvin Klein model. Besides, there are dating inconveniences that people can’t change (age, height, facial structure)

Yes I would say 25-29. Both parties are financially stable, fertile (not at their peak but still doable) psychologically developed and usually married. All there is to do is keep a healthy lifestyle to get a healthy baby. Besides marrying before 25 is not good for it’s longevity My mom got married at 25 and had my brother at 26, me at 28 and my sister at 32. They’re celebrating their 30 year anniversary in August and I’m super happy for them :)

The thing is the majority of women find him unattractive. People are more lenient towards age gaps relationships when it’s a Chad or Tyrone. If a 23 year old wants to be with Jeremy Meeks (mind you a guy who almost beat up a kid to death)it would be fine but if it’s a balding potbelly average joe of the same age with the best RMV ever people still wouldn’t see fit. When you’re good looking people forget or downplay your shortcomings a lot. The acceptance of age gaps relationships are rooted into…
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/21 01:33 PM

Usually if the shaming occurs the guy is subpar looking. People were shaming the rapper Future (37) for dating Lori Harvey(24) but when she got with Michael B Jordan (34) all of a sudden it was “yaasss kween!” People don’t mind age gaps when the dude is good looking hence probably why Leo seems to get backlash because he’s not the “Jack” Chad we all know him for anymore. There’s also a double standard that when a woman does it the predatory factor goes out the window. Like Jason Momoa’s wife for…
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/21 11:25 AM

Ah no worries. Sometimes if we say something even slightly similar to toxic communities that harm us it gets interpreted badly hence my apology. I think that’s how I got banned from FDS after argued that a cheap date doesn’t matter if you genuinely like the guy.

I agree with you on that no need to dispute this statement. I’m referring to people thinking that the logic aforementioned makes it okay. Also my apologies for not including women. It’s just that I hear so many people say it’s okay for men to cheat that op’s post got me a bit shortsighted.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/21 04:12 AM
1

I think it’s done to exonerate the foulness of cheating sexually without having it done to them(sexually and/or emotionally). A monolithic outlook on women is the best way for these kind of people to justify the cheating hypocrisy.

/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/21 03:36 AM

They shouldn’t be shamed. There’s definitely a double standard behind maximizing your looks for men even though in the past men did wear wigs, heels and even makeup.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/21 03:31 AM

Exactly. Also in today’s economy and circumstances, it’s always important to be self-sufficient. That applies to men or women because if something happens to your spouse or the person you depend on your home making skills can only get you so far.

I don’t think so since there are some couples who don’t match looks/status wise yet they’re together because they offer good qualities that make a relationship last. So the whole “if you had more to offer they would be with you” just seems insular. My point is that people being self seeking at a person’s expense isn’t a good way to measure who they deserve.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/21 01:48 AM
4

The dying alone with cats joke, it’s like the guy version of “who hurt you” lol I could regulate my watch on this line I love it. But all jokes aside my point is that being hurt or used once or twice in your life doesn’t mean your standards are unrealistic. Sometimes people don’t know their worth and the partner someone deserves shouldn’t be based off of how others treat them. Navigating your romantic prospects are more complicated than that.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/21 01:21 AM
3

The thing is that the idea of using someone for sex/money/attention can transcend any standard. It’s a matter of morals and wether or not the person wants to exert themselves enough to trick whoever can fall for it. If a broke subpar looking dude uses a girl for sex then what is she supposed to do then, die alone?

I know it’s a Greek letter, just that the behaviour related to Alpha can go south fast, and that types of males (Alpha, Beta, Delta, Omega, Sigma) are not recognized by science because of human complexity.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/21 08:31 PM
2

Granted but that’s where the word Alpha came from and the erroneous study that wolves are domineering by nature transferred into how some men are expected to behave in social settings. Don’t get me wrong the rp is not bad but it’s infested with insecure men who obsess over alpha shit.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/21 08:27 PM
6

Nobody obnoxiously portrays themselves as alpha in trp community?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/21 08:20 PM

I know, but a lot of people take animal attributes such as the “alpha” wolf and project it on to themselves as an appeal to their ego.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/21 08:13 PM

I don’t really believe in those considering that the original study that coined the term was erroneous. Also humans are too complex to be put in some fallacious dichotomy such as AFBB.

Though I’m happy you’ve recovered and doing well,I’m so sorry that this happened to you. Keep in mind that people recover differently and that there are plenty of levels of trauma. Some of which the pain never truly goes away such as divorce, sexual assault, abuse etc. Though I can understand why a person wouldn’t want a partner with baggage, I do think empathy towards those people can help.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/21 06:21 PM

In hindsight, promiscuity and trauma (either sexual or emotional) are dissociative. It only takes one time to be hurt by somebody to the point of substantial damage wether it’s emotional, physical or sexual.

I agree men obsessing over my virginity can be creepy, but I’m talking about OF users. These lonely men could save their money for more productive things(travel, hobbies, therapy) not give it to random women they barely know. Income can be quite shaky during a pandemic and the idea of profiting off of someone’s hard earned money and fragile mental health like that sounds dishonest and it makes me sad.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/21 02:48 AM
5

I don’t think it’s right to make money off of vulnerable lonely men. OF is floooded ; the average user doesn’t make bank. Also there are other ways to make money. Build a business, invest or work hard in a field that you like. That’s what I’m doing. It’s not a good idea to base income off of something so ephemeral in this case being looks. Building skill would be much better for women.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/21 03:26 AM

Thanks for the links! Are you okay by the way? I’m not the best at picking tones because it’s in writing after all but you seem kind of cold or frustrated/almost angry. I know PPD can bring both sexes to be unkind sometimes so I hope my opinion is not starting any problems here.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/21 11:54 PM
4

But it’s true to a bigger extent than people care to admit. In the field of sex work (porn, escorting etc..) there’s an ungodly amount of abuse. Sex trafficking even. I’m just saying that it’s the small things that feed into this entity. But yea I’m not judging men who pay for sex, especially when we consider the rise of inceldom (I think they’re called escortcels?) Any who, I don’t know everything and fall short sometimes so if you would like to educate me further on the subject I’m all ears :)

Gotta pay them student loans lol
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/21 10:22 PM

My apologies, I may not have worded my opinion very well. I mean that most people see women as sentient fleshlights the same way men as seen as walking wallets to the extent where the humanity and boundaries of the person is deflected and or sometimes even denied.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/21 07:41 PM
14

Happened to me on Instagram. I have an abstinence/celibacy story highlights and some real estate broker offered me 10k for my virginity. Obviously I refused out of integrity but it makes me so sad to see how female sexuality can be so commodified. Thank God my parents pay for my school but I can only imagine how many young women go down this route to get financial relief.

I don’t think you realize that getting into a relationship especially marriage because society says so or in order to fill/avoid a void/sense of emptiness is not okay. If a woman is not getting commitment of any kind then perhaps making her find value in other equations of her life is a good alternative to happiness. TLDR : Not getting what you want doesn’t mean your life is over.

I think Kevin forgets that God didn’t explicitly approve or encourage concubinage (Genesis 2:22-24/ Psalm 128/Malachi 2:13-16) and also that those concubine stories were there to expose human sin and it’s need for Christ. Salomon had like 300 side chicks and confessed he regretted the lifestyle. If looking at a woman lustfully is enough to be considered adultery then I’m pretty sure that sleeping with someone who is not a person you vowed to cherish on agreed monogamous terms is not okay. Kevin …

Can confirm. If I can provide for myself then I don’t see why I should go for a provider. If anything me having my own degree and money is more of an incentive to not mooch off of high earning men.

I don’t think you would keep the same energy for the feminist misandrists. Both sides are whiny as well as too old for this tit for tat shit.

What’s wrong with after the fact? Personally I’ve never been in any relationship (or sexual encounter) and if I have to be celibate my whole life that’s fine. If not getting Chad to commit is out of a woman’s control then perhaps it’s better for them to accept said fate and to learn to find joy in things outside of being attached to a man(at least commitment wise)I just don’t get men making fun of these women having cats or going to therapy or travelling as if they’re supposed to be miserable un…

Is it me or is the postwall woman scenario something men rejoice in? Noticed that a lot on PPD. They just say go to FDS or call the girl a cat lady as if it’s impossible to be content with yourself.

Yeah as an early twenties girl that’s what makes me scared to date. Probably the main reason why I chose celibacy. The dating scene makes everyone lack integrity.

I mean I can’t do anything about that I can only be honest. But if the guy is not comfortable talking about his virginity then it’s fine. We can grow trust.

Anectodal evidence, nice. I’m not too worried about my future dating prospects since I’m not picky. Just stating what I look for in a guy. Worst case scenario I’ll be the postwall aunt who travels constantly and spoils her nephews and nieces

They’re not rare and Chad tier. Most of them are normal guys. Just go to any Christian leaning communities (youth group, church, volunteer work) Also if they’re Christian and abstinent then chances are they perceive premarital sex as adultery (I don’t judge anyone who has sex) being good looking and chaste doesn’t mean you lack integrity or that you have a fear of missing out or at least to the point of cheating. It doesn’t matter how much of a 10/10 a girl is if the guy wants to cheat he will. …

I would respond respectfully and make sure that he’s not addicted to porn, I would also ask him to go out with me more so he can socialize better. But most of all I would tell him that it’s normal and nothing to be ashamed of. Thing is that the virgin guys that I would go for (once I stop practicing celibacy) are virgin by the effort to not have sex just like me. But if we have the same views on sex then why not.

I’m not planning on getting in the dating scene until I’m 24 or at the age where the human peaks psychologically enough to handle what a relationship entails so I’ve never been on a date of had a boyfriend. But if the V question pops up then I will usually let the person know that there’s no shame into being a virgin and that I respect them regardless of body count so they can feel comfortable talking about the topic openly.

I only speak for myself but not at all! I would say that I don’t even fit the virgin archetype. Most of my playlist are dirty songs, I like sex jokes, I do my research on sexual education (male anatomy, birth control etc) and I make scenarios in my head all the time. I just happen to not go out of my way to have sex and with covid it’s even easier. Contrary to redpill belief there’s no "Chad" (maybe 5% of the alumni) around in college. Even if there were more Chads my uni program keeps me very b…

I actually want a male virgin because I am a virgin myself. My concept of sex is an act that involves a lot of trust (probably through marriage or at least engagement) which I can only find within someone who aligns with my views (abstinence). I want our first time to feel special. It’s really annoying when men want to fuck around and expect to marry a virgin. If I made the effort to wait I wish my future hubby would to. Looking at today’s dating market with hypergamy, pump and dump and all that…

Then why do redpill men keep saying that traditional women (that fit into the category I just mentioned) are the only ones of value?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/21 05:11 AM

The thing is that in communities where virginity/abstinence is practiced by women (Islam, Amish, etc...) the standard is indeed the same. Even if the girl is not religious by any means, the hypocrisy lies within enabling behaviour that these men have disdain for. Like you don’t see Ben Shapiro advocating for hookup culture even though I’m sure he believes it destroys the west, just like these redpill men. If you have an issue with casual sex while encouraging it only when it benefits the gender …

They don’t get worn out because male sexuality is not a commodity. For us virgins, we’re barely acknowledged as people once we disclose our lack of body count. We’re the new car, the new shoes, the functioning lock. Our sexuality is not for us but for men and even when the time comes, it’s still not about our pleasure. In many cultures they ask to verify if the bride experienced bleeding (usually tearing from lack of foreplay of too rough) , we’re told that it’s going to hurt (again, lack of for…

My problem with this is that it’s not any different from the “postwall thots”you have disdain for. This is the epitome of have your cake and eat it too. If you replace word men with women in your statement, the manosphere would say it reeks entitlement. Most virgins are abstinent for religious reasons and considering the lack of effort for these kind of men have for matching their beliefs (pump and dump being the male equivalent of riding the cc which is forbidden regardless of gender ) while ex…

That I understand, makes a lot of sense. I view my (future lol) sex life the same. I want that special monogamous bond where I took the effort to stay away from temptation to wait for my s.o and it would mean a lot to me if they did the same. I agree with you on this one 👍🏾

I think the problem is that most redpill men push the social expectation of men being total bachelors and rack up their body count because according to science women want what’s in demand and unattainable. However saying this while claiming that a women’s only worth is her virginity makes both claims mutually exclusive in terms of logic. By following said speculation, hypocrisy is almost inevitable. As a virgin myself, unless the guy is keeping it for marriage as well, I consider it cognitive di…

Exactly! Like how are you going to get in a situation (ltr or marriage)where the core of your partner’s being (emotions) will be on display then have a problem with it? This why male mental health isn’t taken seriously.
