I may just be cheap but my first date, when I was dating, was always coffee. Public place where you can sit down and chat, and the option is there for either party to peace out early if things aren't going well, or to continue the conversation or even move on to a pub.

The issue is that post-secondary education is so heavily engrained in our societal hierarchy. And if you get a post-secondary degree in history, it looks a lot better on the resume than "has a serious and dedicated interest in history" On top of it, an employer is more likely to choose a Yale history graduate than a community college history graduate, simply because the application process for Yale is much more stringent, and proves a lot about a person's ability to work hard. Simply because the…

Don't worry about being arrested. Join a club or two once you get there. I'm sure you have interests besides work so try and find similar groups. It's tough making good friends but it can help finding one good person to show you around and introduce you to other decent people.

Have to say: i just got that same M.2 drive and it's insane. In. Fucking. Sane. The read and write speeds are mind boggling. No input in the monitor situation as you seem to have it figured, but fyi ssds are super expensive to recover if/when they die. So either get a backup mechanical hdd or better yet offsite backup services. Just had my rig get zapped and yeah. The ssd was going to cost at least 600 to recover. And that's a very good price for ssd recovery.

Further to this, look into what is in demand and what pays well. I wanted to be a journalist but after a couple years I realized I would always be poor. Got into electrical on a bit of a fluke after figuring out what paid well and what may fit my personality. I actually really enjoy it and there's plenty of options to branch into as I gain experience. And with a skill like this, you can always make side money too if you want to. Feel free to pm me if you want some advice or anything :)

My one friend got it for free when he was in the army. Didn't kill himself but he had some serious temptations to. He stopped taking it because of it. He did quit smoking when he was taking it though.

Or that little extra crunch on your steak. It's not pepper.. It's floor spice.

My biggest tip is don't be too hard on yourself. When changing your lifestyle, you're changing a lot of small habits. Do your best and keep each failure in mind as a lesson and not a failure at all. I still miss my evening vitamins and I've been taking them for years. I still pig out on junk food sometimes too. But the overall picture is a good one. Good for you though, recognizing the need to change something. Remember this moment as your turning point. Best of luck to you!

Not sure if fapping is your issue. Vitamin deficiencies are a real thing tho. No vitamin C = scurvy. No calcium = weak bones. No vitamin D = bad immune system and mood. These are generalizations but for example I try to eat veggies and meats and fruits. But I still take a calcium/zinc/magnesium supplement before bed plus vitamin D. If I forget a few days in a row I absolutely notice my mood declining. I take B complex sometimes for a boost. I take iodine sometimes which really helps energy level…

I am in love with my old blazer but I'm going to need to replace it eventually. Are the Tahoes decent for longevity? My blazer has been problem after problem. It was the first year of fuel injection so I don't blame it lol. But I do love the size and the fact I can work on it myself.

I'm not vegetarian or anything but I try to avoid preservatives in meat (sodium nitrite has been proven to cause cancer) and try to eat salad often and not go crazy on processed foods and snack foods. I don't buy cookies and chips art the grocery store because I know myself better haha. I enjoy making salad tortillas with cheese and sandwich meat with whatever sauces I want. The key is to use as much non processed stuff as possible. Organic dairy is pretty much the norm in Canada so that's an ea…

To be fair I'm Christian but don't do church. Not that I don't like church but between work and life I don't have a lot of time to myself in the first place. I don't think it disqualifies me from the belief system. Although Christianity is a broad system with many variations. Catholicism isn't so varied.

Pcpartpicker is a really cool site that helps you build your own, ensure it'll all work together, and even aggregates sites so you can get the best prices and sales notifications. I used it when i built my desktop and it was great.

I enjoy construction work for a few reasons but a big one is most people are playful and love joking around. Yelling at a tinbasher "do you have to be so loud?" He yells back "oh sorry" then laughs and proceeds to hammer a few hard times just for me. Saying good morning to people you don't even work with, talking politics in the smoke pit.. There's a lot of great people in the trades. And of course on my current site with 450 people, there's about 10 women. I always notice how few women actually…

I do agree. 18 is too young to make any decision worth choosing. But your sex drive goes into high gear between 12 and 15. Your logic is sound. But reality has shown that abstinence-only education is a failure. So what is to be done?

I don't doubt the statistics. But I don't think it has to do with evil as much as society itself. Especially in the US, not everybody can afford birth control. And not everybody can afford kids. Why is it that there is a first World country with so many people, yet so few can (or want to) have kids? That points to flaws in society that run deeper than a medical procedure, to me.
/r/MGTOW29/05/18 12:07 PM
3

To be fair the day after pill sucks balls. I haven't taken it haha. But watched a.. Friend.. Of mine get it and get reaction through the day. Condoms break, birth control can be forgotten or just not work.. I really doubt abortion is the primary BC method for many people. And for those who do use it that way, they shouldn't be having kids anyway.
/r/MGTOW28/05/18 07:14 PM
3

I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not haha. But yeah. Sometimes contraceptives don't work. Sometimes they aren't used properly. Sometimes people who really don't want kids get pregnant despite precautions. Yeah you're ending a life. But at the same time you may be saving yourself and a whole new person from living in poverty. Selfish? Sure. But if this is your only life then you should be able to determine your own path.
/r/MGTOW28/05/18 07:11 PM
13

Well honestly I support it. There's plenty of medical reasons to make it legal, not just aborting unwanted kids. If you don't like abortions then don't get one. Personal freedoms and personal choice go hand in hand in a free society. Edit: not shitposting. I realize some people don't agree with it. It's a complex issue and if it weren't controversial then it wouldn't be a hot button topic like this.

I don't think so. Because mgtow is a pretty loose ideology. But it's neither religious or nonreligious. There's nothing about a creator in the basic ideas. You can have your religion however you want. That's personal freedom. But I very much doubt that mgtow as a whole would or could ever actually accept one religion over another. Nothing tears men from one another like a disagreement in religion. Leave religion and politics out of the clubhouse and everybody will get along fine.

I have a 93 Chevy and a little more debt than I want. Rent a house with two awesome roommates and have my own edm studio. When not producing I like to make weekend outings to other cities to online game with my friends irl lol. I'm also a member of a men's only club that involves socializing and acting and wicked dinners. I work 40 ish hours a week in a designated trade and I'm pretty beefy because of the physical nature of the work.

There is a certain relaxation to it. I don't really enjoy it because the shift diff isn't great in my company. And I do like having some sort of social life lol. But if it's something that works with your lifestyle I could see it being very enjoyable.

Christian here but I love your comment. Also admire your religion, despite it not being my own. I looked into it a while ago as there's quite a few Sikhs in my area. Pretty agreeable tenets and such, as far as moral philosophy goes.

I know this is a women's sub but I'm a guy so I'll elaborate as best I can. Testosterone isn't a constant thing. It goes up and down depending on diet and excersize and many other factors. For example, if you're eating junk food and have a very laidback lifestyle with little to no excersize then testosterone will likely drop. If you've got a healthy lifestyle but have a big steak dinner, there's little chance of a sex drive afterward even if testosterone levels are ideal. Basically it's hard to …

Well definitely on the heavy side. It's kind of branched out like metal did decades ago. It ranges from light and happy to deep and dark. My last ep was dark and heavy but upbeat. My most recent stuff has been more on the current scene's level of heavy but upbeat. You have soundcloud?

No worries. I did some photos here and there when I was a journalist. Definitely helped with the bills. But I found the trades to be more fun and make me more money. Guy.. I can appreciate what you think you're trying to do. But it's not working. This may not be the best place to bring religion. And is less likely to be a suitable place to try and debate. Nothing can cause such divides between men as religion and politics. I'm a Christian but I'm here to discuss and learn about things I have in common with guys. If religion comes up naturally I'm happy to talk about it. But not everybody is receptive or appreciative of that subject matter.

Haha yeah. Not too many women in construction in general. I saw a single female labourer on this site. I've seen probably 20 men to one woman in construction in general. Although a friend of mine got her jman sparky certificate two years ago. And she even calls it Jman haha. She's good shit. But honestly if you wanna chat in depth about it I'd be happy to discuss my experience. Although if you're not in Canada there are going to be differences.

That's a tough situation :( University means tons of debt and no guarantee that you'll make more than a tradesman. But depending on the trade it can be hard on your body and no guarantee you'd make more than a graduate. But there's a lot less chance of coming out with debt. Shit, in Canada you collect employment insurance while you how to school, plus a few grants which basically cover the tuition too.

The self improvement through professional development is pretty huge too.

I can understand where you're coming from, and how you could construe that. But you can't tell me that poverty is an ideal to strive for. Abortions can help prevent poverty in some cases and even reduce it. But really you don't have to like them. If you don't like one, don't have one. I can't say I like them either. But I believe people should be able to live their lives the way they want. And if that includes not having kids then go for it.
/r/MGTOW17/10/17 04:53 AM

Honestly I don't mind it. Yeah I'm sure there are women who abuse it. But I think it should be a thing anyway. If it prevents children from growing up in poverty (See: Every sperm is sacred, monty python) and helps prevent shitty people from becoming shitty parents, it should be available. Like abstinence-only sex ed; it's a cool idea in theory. But refusing to teach kids about sex doesn't mean they won't have sex. Abortion not being available just means there will be kids being born into situat…

It's hard to see in the moment. But I was on the verge years ago. Had a plan and everything. After a good long talk from a close friend of mine, I decided to hang on for just one more year. In that time I got my life together. There have been many times I've been hit like a brick, that I may have never actually experienced the joy I've had since then. It's not irrational anxiety. It's rational. Anxiety used to keep us alive back in the day. It evolved with us as humans. Unfortunately we have to deal with it in a world that doesn't always need it. Met a girl on pof a while ago. She seemed cool enough. Then I took her out to a mid-range pub. She belched so loud that people were staring. Multiple times. Zero class whatsoever. We left. I met an east Indian dude who worked at a gas station. He let me pay then asked what a word meant. He reads the newspaper every day and writes down new words from it. Being an english-focused person, I was able to explain a few words to him. I really enjoyed doing it. I don't know if you need that but it's a cool idea for those trying to learn advanced English without taking an actual course. By the way, your English doesn't sound bad at all haha.
