I would replace flat bench with Incline Press and Overhead Press with behind the Neck Overhead Press for the look that you want.

So...lesson for you young guys from an old dude. Don't ever fall in love with a girl that says " I'm addicted to your cock". Have fun with her? sure....LTR? Hell no. I know that society deems this as normal dialogue these days....but it's not. No woman worth her salt is going to be talking about your cock or how good you "rail" her. This is the verbiage of a whore, not a housewife. TV, music, social media will lead you to believe this is normal female behavior....it is not. Now get off my lawn y…

No offense but there is nothing new here... Also...if maximizing muscle size is important to you while you cut, don't fast. Set your calories and protein and eat when hungry.

I like GLO...his writing is like getting punched in the mouth. I need that sometimes. I also think that Marcus A. was a remarkable leader and probably somebody worth taking advice from.

Once again...it's hard to judge the validity of these kinds of posts without context. I picture a low value man (pimp?) and some street hoes when I read this. A woman that loves cock as much as the women you describe are easy to bed....so who cares?

I think the reasoning here is wrong...but the conclusions are correct. Men and women are just not meant to exclusively mate forever. You are better off cultivating new relationships than you are trying to salvage a dead bedroom.

It's unfortunate .....but true.... Our society is so gaddamn superficial that being muscular and fit is a game changer in almost every social situation including business. It doesn't matter though. Sticking to a proper diet and weight lifting routine is just too damn hard for 95% of the male population. So they just continue to come in here on their way to black-pill hell.

It's ironic that a low carb zealot would post something like this when the scientific method has proven over and over again that calories are most important when protein is equated.... You're a good writer....but that's where it ends.

What role does lifting and staying in top physical condition play in all of this?....Will it buy you time when you're in your later stages? It's weird and totally backwards.....But even at 49 I seem to command more respect from our younger generations of workers than the dad bod guys that are probably better at their jobs than me. It's so odd to me how superficial this world has become....

What in the hell is this? I tell you what Frame is not....tit for tat which is what this article is about.... For you young guys....when someone says or does something that offends you....man or woman......Laugh and turn your back on them.....That's all the frame you need.

sex, status, money, fulfillment. I'm 49.....What you will find as you progress is that happiness and fulfillment is found within...... The less shit that it takes you to be content, the better off you will be in the long run. Sure, have your fun....But what you will find as you gather poon, toys and status is that none of it makes you "happy" for long. You have a mind, body and soul.....Don't ignore the soul part of the equation as your body and mind will decay.

This is a great question.... My personal opinion is that if it is not obvious to you that girls are coming on to you.....then you need to increase your SMV or consider celibacy.

Once again....great article.... But you are way off on the calorie thing....and if you really want to help overweight, suicidal 19 year olds you would tell them to learn about calories....They absolutely WILL get fatter on a paleo/KETo diet if they don't control for calories. Agreed... Let me ask you this....Do you think lifting heavy is required for naturals to reach their potential? I mean...I understand your stance on "enhanced" guys because the ligaments and tendons lag behind the muscles..... But in order for naturals to thrive.....I think most will need a hybrid approach of strength and hypertrophy.

Good luck figuring out what to do by reading those 2 books... Arnold was a volume king and Mentzer was a one set to failure guy.... Gironda's Unleashing the Wild Physique is another great one. From Starting Strength....... The press is the most useful upper-body exercise for sports conditioning, primarily because it is not just an upper-body exercise. Except for powerlifting and swimming, all sports that require the use of upper-body strength transmit that force along a kinetic chain that starts at the ground. Any time an athlete pushes against an opponent, throws an implement, uses a racquet or club on a ball, or transmits force to an object, that force starts at the feet against t…

God what a dork... Some of you guys really need to think about NEVER starting a thread on here....and then follow through with that... And one more thing... Standing Overhead Barbell Press or.....THE PRESS......is the King of All exercises......period. huge strong shoulders and the strength development of the kinetic chain that begins with the feet on the floor make it so....then I'd go squat.....then maybe deadlift.

Thanks for the honesty man.... I'm scared to death of all of it.....and at 49 my Test is only in the high 300's so I'm sure I need at least TRT. I don't want to get bigger because I'm already 6'2" 225 lbs at 18% body fat....But I sure would like for my shoulders to pop like yours.

You look good Man... Are you only on T or is there something else you're throwing into the mix? I'm 49 and a lifelong lifter but I can't seem to get my shoulders to look like that.....have not started taking anything yet. I know a lot of it is genetics but have also noticed it's mostly guys on the juice that get those 3D shoulders.
/r/TheRedPill18/04/21 12:42 PM

Any "LIFT" thread on here that does not include and heavily emphasize standing barbell press is useless... Getting strong on the Press will make you look great....make you a better athlete....and protect your shoulders from the extremely overrated bench press. And oh yeah.....it is the best AB exercise on the planet......especially when super-set-ed with Underhand Pull Ups.

Me too... There are a lot of even non-slutty women that have no idea and are completely oblivious to how important sex is to ALL MEN. I guarantee that if you ask women what's the most important aspect of being a wife or girlfriend sex would be in the middle of the list.....we all know where it would be for men. It's a real piss in the face when you realize that the only woman that ever loved you....or ever is going to love you.....is your Mom. Compound this with the realization of just how superficial this world is and it makes you wonder what it's all for? Good point... I'm 48....I'm about 220 lbs right now at 6'2"....Still lift heavy..... I'm dieting by counting calories and protein until I hit 205 lbs which will put me at about 12% bodfyat.... Awesome...most people cannot sustain it....Not to mention the constraints it puts on your social life... If you are getting upwards of 200g of protein per day....which you absolutely need if you are not a manlet....then by definition you are not "KETO". Also. lack of carbs in the diet causes Test to plummet along with serotonin.
/r/TheRedPill10/09/20 01:02 PM

Keto is unsustainable ..... Find your calories....eat one gram of protein per lb of bodyweight and fit in foods that you enjoy.... You're in this for the long haul...your diet MUST reflect that.

I've been lifting for a long time....if I had to give one piece of advice it would be to really prioritize standing barbell press....or "The Press"....To me, it is the best developer of what everyman wants in a body.... There's also no better feeling at 48 years old than to be able to work on a rack next to 2 punks less than half my age.....and be able to overhead press what they are squatting.
/r/TheRedPill30/08/20 02:02 PM

I'm starting to lean towards the concept that if you have to "try"....you're not really in the game... Women will make it easy on you if you're a man of high value in some way...if you're not, get back to work on yourself. If you're under 6'....You may want to start looking into sexbots.... Unreal... Tin Foil hat horseshit........A caloric deficit is SOLELY responsible for most of the health benefits associated with "CLEAN" eating....Wether you obtain the caloric defect with brocollii or ding dongs is irrelevant as long as protein is constant....may want to throw in a multivitamin... Telling people who are struggling with weight loss that hey can only eat "CLEAN" foods is doing them no good...get outta here with that BS.
/r/TheRedPill24/08/20 07:50 PM
-1

You're missing the point..... All this BS about eating "Clean" and "Unprcessed" is keeping people fat as shit...Willpower only lasts for so long. 300-500 Calories of chocolate every other night or so keeps me from going over my caloric budget for the day or week...And keeps me sane for the LONG run...It is SUSTAINABLE.....that is key! For you it may be potato chips, or ice cream, or fucking fruit loops....Whatever it is, work it into your calories...become satisfied....and get lean for life.
/r/TheRedPill24/08/20 07:46 PM
1

This is horseshit too.... To get ripped...eat .75 - 1 gram of protein per lb of bodyweight......Eat at 10-11 total calories of GOAL weight....The rest does not matter.... Processed vs. Unprocessed food is ridiculous .....Chocolate is highly processed but will fill you up and satisfy your hunger making it easier to stick to your overall calorie goals. God made banana's ....God also made all those chemicals that go into "Processed" foods.

When Protein and Fiber are eaten at the same rate, gram for gram, on a Low Carb or Low Fat Diet regimen.....fat is lost at the same rate as long as a caloric deficit is sustained. Protein and Fiber effect the calories out part of the equation...they are more "expensive" for your body to process... That's why a lot of people that switch to a Low Carb diet think it's magical.....Their protein and fiber go up by default and it does in fact increase the calorie out part of the equation in a positive…

EPOC is vastly overrated.... Compound Heavy Lifts focusing on progression for Building Muscle... Conditioning work and Skill Acquisition specific to sport/activity... Abs are made in the kitchen. Crossfit and it's derivatives are masterbation

Confusing strength training with conditioning is a mistake.

Yeah because strengthening your mind through the use of things like Stoicism will never work.... And strengthening your body through weight lifting is a terrible idea.... And strengthening your social skills by learning what makes people tick is a waste of time... TRP is a God send for young men.....I wish I would have discovered it 30 years ago.

You're right....it has gone downhill....mostly because of posts like this. This is not an informative affirmation of Alpha... This is a pathetic humble brag. I'd love to see some of these "Alphas" in these stories as well as the girls....Sounds like trailer trash to me. But fake pics are a real thing so....

This guy....is not my kinda guy.....at all...but I gotta tip my hat to him for adapting and overcoming. The only thing I would disagree with is that being ultra lean is more important than being muscular.....In my experience, Burly works really well....especially in the fall/winter.

I believe this to be true...I played football in high school and a little bit in Div 1 AA college... I would like to take up something now....I still lift at 47 years old, relatively heavy for my age, but would like to take up something like this... Whats good for someone my age?

I quit Diet soft drinks after a decade of at least 6 cans a day..... It's only been 2 weeks but I can't believe how it has helped curtail my appetite.....makes dieting much easier.

I am 47 and have been lifting for a long time... No adonis...but for 47 I can still Incline 225 for 7....Squat 350...and dead over 400... I recently joined the rec center gym as an alumni at the college I graduated from...Major college....30,000 student body... Let me tell you ....FUCKAROUNDITIS is real and is an epidemic in the younger generation.

Because it is an easy way to restrict calories without hunger...for awhile....but it is unsustainable for most.... Taubes literally told Layne Norton that he would not admit being wrong if shown evidence that LCHF diets do not provide a metabolic advantage.....That's not a scientist....that's a zealot.

Dude... In every study that has equated protein intake and calorie intake there is no measurable difference in weight loss between low carb and high carb... The science speaks for itself....Just because you can't control your eating does not mean that the science is flawed.

I would agree with your cutting advice... I would also say...just like in my original post....that for "most" men, 2000 calories and 1 gram of protein per lb is going to do the trick...Just by setting these simple parameters, you improve the quality of the diet by default... Perfectly simple for the type of lost soul you describe. Get this down, start losing weight, and then improve the nutrient quality over time. By the way...I'm a 46 year old man that got married and failed in life.

Ah....now I get it.... You must be a manlet....If you can't cut on 2000 calories per day you've got bigger problems.

Let me guess....You're a Keto guy....Or a Paleo guy.....? Listen junior....I was there too once and it was called Atkins... And while it worked and was cool for awhile eventually your workouts suffer and it is WAY too restrictive..... If it is like you say...and the majority on here have no self discipline...then eating 1 gram of protein per pound of bodyweight and staying right at 2000 calories will cause massive change over time and not restrict them to "Just Meat Brah". If you refute this...t…

I guess the sarcasm is lost on me...... I would have to think most of the guys in here have a busy life and minimal time to invest in exercise because of work and family commitment... If that is the case....Carve out 3-5 hours a week and concentrate on getting stronger in the Press, Inlcine, Deadlift and Squat....Sure, throw in some laterals and curls for the girls at the end if you want...If you are lifting correctly, through a full range of motion, you get the benefit of an improved cardiovasc…

This....Stoicism helps.... Also...as weird as this sounds...the movie "A Beautiful Mind" helped me....Those voices are there....they will always be there....but they can be kept at bay and on the periphery.

Fantastic Post....Thank You! I'm a weak lil bitch when it comes to this.....I have a good job making 150K plus, but I find myself taking days off and procrastinating way too often because I have the luxury of making my own schedule...It's going to catch up with me soon and they are going to can my ass... It takes me back to the old saying "Don't wait for motivation....cultivate discipline". Easier said than done for sure...but oh so important.

I really don't know...Like I said....I know those thoughts are there, hanging like the Grim Reaper's sickle.....But I just try and remind myself to ignore them and they are not reasonable. Studying stoicism has also helped.

I think of suicide often.....my fantasy is that somebody shoots me in the face so that my family can still collect the insurance. I've been thinking about this a lot...but in the opposite direction... I'm a recovering Beta that has been married for 20 years.....I've had to learn one thing the very hard way from this forum and that is that you can never listed to what women say...you can only rely on what they do.... If that is the case.....and it is......Once a woman stops fucking you, she stops loving you....period. So while men can only express their love by improving their SMV....Women can only express their love by phy…

I mainly ate the red pill because of 20 years of blue pill frustration marriage....and it has helped with my wife.....and with other females.... But do you want to know where it really helped? With other men. Those that haven't shown some type of submission to me have withdrawn from my life altogether....which is fine by me. Now keep in mind....even in my blue pill days I lifted hard. I was always A 6'2" 235 lb linebacker type....But the change, especially with men, did not come until I consumed…

This is one of the best posts I've read on here...thank you. And for all of you guys with complaints about 16 year olds......Take this advice from a 45 year old recovering blue bill.... The only thing....THE ONLY THING.....I did right for 20 years, was lift my ass off......And I tell you that it was damn near enough. This is a great post. Thank You. I think it may have more meaning for you youngsters out there....Especially the LIFT part. I'm 45 and have lifted most of my life...most of my friends/peers quit long ago.... This is a great post..... I'm not going to make it because my work ethic for my career is absolute horseshit......I've never really known what I wanted to do, so at 45 I have a good title and a 6 figure job that I absolutely hate and have no passion for..... Much respect for a 240lb Standing overhead....was that before gear? All I'm getting at is that you may be putting off a vibe that you live to lift....instead of lifting to live.....I think that may be a turnoff.

I'm not trying to be a dick.....I've thought about gear many times but decided not to do it. In my experience girls like dudes that are big and muscular for a reason....a lumberjack....a football player......an MMA dude.....you get the drift. When you're on gear for nothing more than aesthetics, it turns a ton of women off no matter how good you look. It's hilarious to me to watch the gear dudes in the gym.....I lift for strength...Leangains RPT style....I'm 45 years old and I hit a steady diet …

Thanks for the response... Part of the peril of being Blue Pill for so long is that you lose your sense of overall value....especially SMV. But I have always loved to LIFT. Love being in the gym with guys 10-20 years younger than me and putting them to shame...Even though I was blue pill for a very long time, I got this part of it right....Now my wife's body is starting to get soft....me? not so much.... This combined with my new IDGAF attitude? The change has come, she's under my thumb.
