I don't want to be the bearer of bad news, but it seems that he doesn't like you and is only using you for his personal gain. It appears that he has no desire to further a connection with you, and is only interested in one thing - sex. Men are generally straightforward and direct in their pursuit of relationships, unlike women who may give mixed signals. If you're uncertain about where you stand with him, it's best to have a direct conversation or assume that he doesn't plan on establishing anyt…

It's completely normal for feelings of bitterness and resentment to arise. However, it's important to differentiate between feeling those emotions and acting upon them. While you have every right to feel a certain way, it's crucial not to let it affect your commitment to your partner. Even if it may seem like he has let you down in the past, the truth is that he has sought help, is actively working on improving himself, and is demonstrating through his actions that he is willing to fight for the…

I would like to begin by sharing a personal note. In my marriage, we have a rule that divorce is not an option. This means that we are committed to working together to address the underlying issues. It is important to understand that both partners' desires are crucial in achieving their respective goals. I found several books to be extremely helpful in my own journey. "Love and Respect" by Emerson Eggerichs, "Hold Me Tight" by Sue Johnson, and any book from "The Venus/Mars" series by John Gray p…

They are downvoting you because even now you are still defending your actions. “Sorry, but..” isn’t a sincere apology.

You’re already loosing faith in him and building resentment. Those aren’t good signs of a long-term committed relationship; properly communicating your needs, wants and expectations are vital for a successful partnership. Does he know that you want to be a stay at home wife? Do you have a flexible or rigid timeline? Can you compromise on time? Are you hoping he comes to the right conclusions or expecting him to read your mind? Regardless of how you view his potential earning, does he have good c…

I found my hubby loves it when I’m nurturing. I’m very dotting to his needs and often find myself helping him tie his tie, pluck his brows, apply ointment, iron his clothing before work, massage his head/back, care for him when he’s sick, and many many other little things. He can do it all himself but it’s something I want to do and he allows me to do. I think it’s the idea of a “feminine” or “gentle” touch - akin to a mother’s touch. Perhaps being seen as “motherly” might give the negative conn…

If they admit it’s their own doing then they can’t be victims anymore. It’s hard for me to believe someone that says every man they dated/encountered was a narcissist. Statistically, 1% of the population are narcissists; you’d probably have a great chance at winning the lottery with those odds.

Both genders are capable of terrible things. I just don’t believe in painting an entire gender based on the actions of a select few. I judge on a person’s character and action, not their gender.

I don’t mind being called a pick-me. They resort to name calling rather than picking apart my argument. It simply emphasizes their inability to forms a coherent response. I’ve mostly noticed I get called one when I point out hypocrisy or show decent human decency to the opposite gender.

It’s all based on preference and what is doable. And if you find a worthy partner - someone who makes it easy to appreciate and who can in turn appreciate you. If you afford to stay home then it can greatly benefit both you. Your husband will have home cooked meals everyday, a clean home, a personal accountant, DIYer and masseurs. You’ll end up building hands-on skills; fixing appliances, building furniture, sewing, replacing your car battery, etc. If you still have time on your hands you’ll be …

I’d recommend getting a Pinterest board and looking up recipes that “look good”. If you are budget conscious, look for recipes that have similar ingredients or substitutions. If you have a more generous budget, just pick ones that look absolutely amazing and plan your meals for the next three days (as a week may be too daunting for a beginner). Try experiment a little, figure out what you like and don’t like. It takes a while but you’ll eventually find a rotation of keep-worthy recipes. If you g…

I don’t how to say this without sounding harsh. I’m pretty sure the more “liberal” women are only getting dates because the men only want to sleep with them and not actually date them long-term. Have you considered dating someone older? Men your age and on college campuses typically aren’t looking to settle down or have any plans to in the near future. If you are religious, I recommend meeting men at church as they tend to be more established and are marriage-ready. Otherwise, at a library, gym,…
