Hell yes. A lot of TRP (dread especially) is just standard female behaviour codified.

In those 90% of cases, where you claim men “do not want custody”, how many percent of them do you think the men’s lawyer says “this is realistically the best deal you can get and you should take it” vs “sure, we can go to trial, but realistically you will end up worse”?

I expect her not to “lie” about her libido. If a women were like you describe from the start of the relationship/dating phase, that would be fine. But it usually turns out that the whole “low-libido” thing is something that magically appears way later in the relationship. As for the divorce thing: Sort of yes. If the woman is the “problem” I would suggest that she is open to ways of fixing said problem. If that is divorce, then let the man leave amicably without trying to squeeze him for money. …

They are private little jokes that you can use to simultaneously show that you care and also that you don’t need her. You are showing her that you are your own man. Again, it is subtle and should never hurt your wife’s feelings. That’s not a “Neg” that is being cruel. Hopefully you get the difference and if you are in any doubt whatsoever, do NOT use Negs at all because there are other ways to make her feel desired- and that you don’t need her- which accomplish the same thing without the dangers…

For me, I guess I just don't understand when men complain about having to "do things" in order to attract women. Like build a career, be funny, social network, etc. Those are all things I would do anyways ... But are you sure you are actually doing those things, or are other people doing them to you and you are just responding? This is 100% the difference between me and my LTR, she claims she “does” all those things but reality is she is mostly passive about it. Sure, she can be (eg.) fun (to be…

Race is not a direct factor (I am in mixed relationship with mixed, white-passing) children). I find woman of all races attractive. But I admit I find more women attractive of some races, and similarly less women attractive of other races. I.e. the bell-curve for attractiveness distribution is different. Funnily enough, I find the most attractive women (11/10, “painful-to-look-at” attractive women) to be of middle-east or mid-asian (India and surrounding areas), but those areas have “below-avera…

It is perfectly compatible to believe children should to some degree be protected, but also believe people who cannot support children should not have them. The difficulty comes in figuring out how to implement both at the same time.

I’ll take it that is what you meant to say. The situation would suck for the kid, no argument. It is unfair and unconscionable that the mother put him/her in such a situation.

You understand that there is a difference between “ditching” a kid, and being forced to pay for said kid (perhaps even without any rights towards the kid)? I have two kids. Should it come out that one (or both) are not biologically mine, I would not ditch them. I am too involved for that. But. Being involved in their life now should be my choice, the choice I was denied by the (theoretical) lying cheating pos called the children’s mother. I should not be forced upon threats of jail to pay for th…

One more question: Does this in any way relate to the headline “Making a man pay child support in case of paternity fraud is unethical and scandalous“ or are you asking for random stuff that appear to be related but is not? You say “especially the first” which is not what OP contended, but would be an extreme edge case.

That is truly not the question at all. That is giving the women the “tee-hee, I kept the charade up for 5-years so now you are stuck” defence. Which is literally side-stepping the issue at hand.

I’m not sure what you are asking? Examples where people are ordered to pay child support after they found out the child was not his and there was no child support involved beforehand? Or. Examples of where a man is ordered to continue paying child support after it is revealed a child is not his biologically? Or any of the above?

I do not think anyone blames individual girls for wanting to join the Boy Scouts given the “awfulness” of the Girl Scouts. But, there is a disappointment in that instead of making something good for girls (which would take time and effort), the “solution” is open a “boys” organisation (which is perceived to be “good” already) up to girls as well.

To be totally honest, I did not understand that you meant a literal, physical, gated community/safe-space as opposed to a metaphorical one. But even so. If it was created, I seriously doubt it would be allowed. Especially if it was a success.

Get that Porsche now, and enjoy it while you can. Oh I intend to ;) As for the rest, meh. I absolutely think car-sharing will take off (even if not autonomous). I live in a big city, with functioning public transit. I do not "need" to own my own car, it is at this point a expensive luxury. Car-sharing is already a thing here (in different forms), and it is working quite well. If my car has an "opt-in" to take part in a car-sharing pool and make me some money, no problem. Men online say all the time that WOMEN ALSO SEXUALLY HARASS MEN I always thought the argument was “women do the same thing(s)”. This post appears as you trying to have a “gotcha” moment when men say women do the same things, and then you point out that the borderline misandrist definition of harassment involves how someone feels.

Thank you for giving a intelligible reply. You see a guy who learned how to be 'good.' I see him as a cheating douche with issues. I see him as someone who now at least tries to better himself, though that does in no way excuse or condone his past behavior. I see a guy who hurt the mother of his children in the deepest way for no other apparent reason than his own pride ... No contest. If any of you read the post you can see his description of why it happened in the first paragraph of the full version. Which incidentally is totally different from what you portray in your comment. Apart from that (and the comments on MRP seem to agree), the guy seem like a douche. Also worth noting (according to him): a) He started this prior to knowing about either TRP or MRP. b) He did not do what is recommended by MRP.

I’m guessing the woman would be you? You are yelling because you are upset that a man admitted to cheating and is now seeking help? Ok... people cheat, both men and women. Personally I do not like cheating (or condone it), so I do not understand how me pointing out your post and title is a misrepresentation of the linked post makes me defensive and nervous? If reading about someone admitting cheating triggers you this much you really should stop, it has absolutely no effect on your life.

I’ll come out and say it; you’re a cheater and cheating is weak. It doesn’t mean you have frame and worse you lack control. You also don’t really like your wife and you’re trying really hard to make a square peg fit in a round hole. The rest of the commment is a personal anecdote of a guy having lost attraction to his partner. It happens, it sucks. Your reading comprehension seems to be of a different school than mine... If you are going to read it like a literal autist, tons of it is “technically wrong” (done by both BP and RP people). A lot of it is written in a tone and in a way lends itself to rouse offence in the reader, or serve as a wake-up, depending on the readers mindset. No offence (well, no disrespect) meant, but your claims to “victory” are hilarious and immature. There is no glass ceilings in the west today. Women can do the job/become a leader if they want to and does what is needed to get the job. “Unfortunately” most women do not want that. And I’m speaking of women, not a woman. Just because some women can, does not mean a specific woman can. Let’s take a C-level executive position requirements (not all are like these or apply, but guidelines): - Education - Career progression (“no one” starts at C-level) - Willing to work/be available “all the time …

Probably harder. I doubt, however, that it is “necessary”. And I seriously doubt it is worth the effort. As you imply, genetics/looks start playing a big part. Those things are hard to change. Pick the low-hanging fruits, and you will have 80% of the result for 20% effort.

None that I can think of off at the moment, I am sure there are some things but ... I enjoy doing stuff with/for people I like. The major difference is that now, if my current girlfriend started acting like the old ones, she would no longer be my girlfriend. As you said it, it is not her fault I allowed myself to be taken advantage of. If I now start to feel I get taken advantage of, I’d rather end the relationship right away.

First of all, “TRP hookup tactics” (whatever that might mean) are not magical mind-control or hypnosis. Women are perfectly capable intelligent human beings who can decide for themselves. Second. If you play poker, your goal/objective is to win the hand played. In poker terms, that would be winning the hand. If you hunt deer, the goal/objective is to kill the deer. In TRP the goal/objective is to sleep with women. You focus too much on poker terminology. It is not about competing, it is about achieving a goal/objective. The other (not opposing as such) party goals/objectives are not relevant.

which in this specific case doesn't seem like she had any reason to believe it wasn't her husband's children. Did you miss the part about her having affairs and the children ending up not being his? It is a well known fact that condoms are not foolproof. However, if you did I think the evidence would have to show she did it on purpose. It is called lies of omission. Not letting the father know that there is a chance the children are not his , is a purposeful and malicious lie of omission.

You totally should take it to heart, this is great advice for both genders. What you should not do is go invent new meanings and inferences from it. “Actions speak louder than words” is another one. Doesn’t matter what people say, it matters what they do. It does not help you if someone says one thing and does another. If people’s actions are not congruent with their words, you should be vary of believing them.

There’s always an explanation for actions. It why people study human behaviour, but it doesn’t relinquish their personal responsibility unless they’re mentally unaware of right or wrong etc. Agreed. Lack of parity is what I see used as a indication of women not having access. So I brought it up. What is the indication that women do not have access in STEM, apart from gender parity? Or are you arguing something else and I do not understand your argument, and if so please expand on it.

Why they would? If you are championing gender parity and gender parity is a virtue for you. Then you should be consequent in your argumentation. It is definitely hypocrisy when you say "in field a) not having gender parity is a problem, but not in field b) because those jobs are (for some reason) not interesting". That is mildly different from what you postulate. The list is fairly well known for what it is, but his interpretation of point eight is a bit extreme. A less extreme would be “flirt/interact with other women to avoid pedestalisation of LTR” or …

If the child potentially has multiple fathers, the woman should be obligated to inform all those involved of the fact. Especially if the mother is in a "current relationship" where the other party will be the assumed parent (or will naturally assume it since he has no reason not to). If the "designated" father then willingly and _knowingly_ assumes parenthood even if the child is not "his", good for them. If the mother "neglects/forgets" to inform the other party, then it is both malicious and i…

Not to be too pedantic but... Are you saying is that if a man accepts fatherhood, because he had no reason to object. Then fuck him? I do not even begin to comprehend your logic. What on earth has a guy “blowing off” hearings todo with the mother committing paternity fraud? If he 1 year later finds out, it is too late because of ... what exactly?

You are misinformed. Is it not illegal to actually perform a sexual assault as you point out. It is illegal to make someone feel sexually assaulted. Men usually do not, women do if the man is not attractive enough.

That's neither the law, nor common practice. Are not lawyers in a divorce usually paid (indirectly) by the estate? If the father was the single source of income he would effectively pay for both lawyers.

And this is one of the many many reasons we cannot have nice things. The harassing website cites a BBC article that misunderstands, misinterprets and misrepresents the relevant statistics. Oh, how I wish people would just ... stop.

women no longer need support from a man for survival. Well, sort of? The «state» has taken over a lot of support previously provided by a male partner. Men are still expected to pay for it. Directly support? Maybe not. Indirectly? Hell yes.

The manosphere thinks 'toxic masculinity' as a concept is shaming men and boys for having normal masculine traits. No? It might dislike the concept. The manosphere certainly does object to ‘toxic masculinity’ being used as a hammer to smash “men” when the concept is being used flat out wrong. Also, some take offence that the concept of ‘toxic femininity’ is denied or waved away as not worthy of discussion. If anything, any trait is a spectrum. Take dominance. On one extreme you will have “meekne…

Why does TRP use the term redpilled to describe all things positive/attractive that people have been doing since forever? It does not. Also, it would be easier to answer “questions” if they were formulated as questions and not as blocks of prose containing question marks. Formatting will work wonders for your text.

Not a primary concern, but something I keep seeing: “Autism level reading comprehension”. There are a lot of critiques that are more or less at the level of «you used this word, or those words together, and I do not like it!». No discernible attempt to understand the text, or the broader message at all. Just a total hangup with words and wording.

Sort of? It is not that society discourages women to take responsibility, it is more that society is more accepting/forgiving of women not taking responsibility (when women don’t).

1) Anger phase. Disillusion. Feeling of “betrayal”. Lack of a lot of things. Not necessarily understanding/comprehending the material or coming to the wrong conclusions. 2) Yes. 2a) Unfortunately yes. If you actually read some of the texts about the anger phase (+) they end up saying: Men and women are different, it is counterproductive to be “angry” with women, let it go. I fully acknowledge that not every poster seems to have gotten that message. 3) Yes. My feeling is that a re-worded xRP (i.e…

Yes! Definitely, even (say) 5% adds up to a large sum over a year of salaries. I am not contesting mathematics. But... Also, what else could you possibly adjust for? Well, I guess that could be said prior to the last factor to adjust for was found? My argument is: We do not know why this (the remaining gap) is. Sexism might be it, maybe not. How? How not? Nothing exists in a vacuum. Is it “fair” that men (aggregate) earn slightly more than women? No, probably not, especially for equal work etc. …

and smaller and shrinking but still there when adjustment is completed. Which means: Whenever we add some adjustment, it decreases. I.e. approaches 0%. Either the remaining (non-zero) part is “seeexism” or it is some adjustment that is currently missing. Perhaps both? We do not know. Can we please just accept the wage gap as fact and move on to the more interesting discussions that stem from it? Yes and no? It is necessary to know what we are going to discuss? One cannot accept “the gap”, and th…

Sure, “some men” really do not like that. However. That number is quite small compared to those who oppose the blatant hypocrisy that usually follows those actions. It is supposed to be: “With rights come responsibilities”, but for women it seems to be “With rights come even more social and legal support for when you inevitably fuck up because of lack of agency etc ...”

Restricted to the western/develop world. In total? Yes, although that is not really interesting question. It is more that women (as a group) have no clue about (their) female privilege, only disadvantages. While men (as a group) are much more aware comparatively about (their/male) privilege, and also aware about female disadvantages. I have yet to see any major discussion about female privilege and/or male disadvantage. In the “third-world”? No, easier for men.

There are many things «wrong» with the «child support system» as such. Its existence is not one of them. Child support is paid to a live child. Children cost money. If you are the father, you pay your share. Abortion is, to put it crudely, a form of birth control available only to females. Unfair? Maybe, it there are some biological differences involved here. Those are the basics, does that mean the “system” is fair? Hell no. Some form of “financial abortion” seems prudent. The same way no one s…

I initially stumbled across /r/theredpill in the midst of a failing relationship. My girlfriend was a walking TRP Field Report. She was a postergirl for AWALT. The degree to which her behavior and our relationship dynamic aligned with Red Pill concepts was almost comical. This, 100%. Just change former tense to present tense and it is an exact match.

It's impossible for women to love a man outside of basically being in heat for him. It is a statement signifying that men and women's love are different (subtly). She will most likely love her children like you love her (and the children), but you should not expect her to love you in the same way. Any show of submission is a "scientifically proven moodkiller for women". No. Any sign of undecesiveness or weakness can be "a proven moodkiller for women". It is also a bit more nuanced. If you break …

What do you have to offer women? I have a good income, own a sizeable part of a good firm, (relevant) University degree, Mensa invitation, actually believe in sharing (and do more than my part of) housework tasks, a great father (subjective), I am caring and respectful. I work hard every day to improve myself and my relationships. I try to be fun. What do you expect a woman to offer you? At this point, I seem to be settling for anything. I expect nothing from women in general. If the question is…

Did not mean it as advice (as such), I meant it as reasons to be vary of single moms. If you only read "never date a single mom" alone it sounds disheartening, but combine it with "what do you want" aka "you do you" it works out fine. I.e. "never date a single mom" is a hyperbolic warning about dating single moms, with explanations. If you now, after reading both the warning and explanations, still should choose to do so you have been "warned".

Population vs person? On a “statistical” population level, be vary about single moms. On a personal level I am sure your girl is awesome, good for you. With single moms you will not be first, second and perhaps not even third. It is quite possible that she has made some “poor” life choices, check for red flags. Is she into you or into getting a provider for herself and offspring? Are you going to legally adopt the child or will you spend time and resources raising a child you have no “rights” to…

The “core” trp beliefs are not hating on women at all, far from it. They stress that hating women is a waste of time and not constructive. I will concede that there exists comments and post that are: Dumb. Sexist. Angry. Frustrated. Immature. Which is to be expected coming from men who feel “cheated/lied to” about how women actually are vs how they thought they were. Not excusing it, but I can certainly understand it.

Yes. I «subscribe» more to the married MRP version than to the main RP sub. I am not satisfied yet, but then again I am only starting to implement my change from total «beta». My relationship has gone from «in shambles» to «decent». Much work remains. The most important change was to realise that my existing notions of how women “worked” were way off, and I am still struggling with that.
